The cat packed her things and had just sat down when her phone screen started flashing.
She opened the message and found three text messages, all of which were payment notifications.
"Wow, Kunan Kaoru is getting more and more sensible." Cat thought to herself in a good mood, the feeling of sitting and collecting money like this was just too good.
After putting down her phone, the cat got up and walked to the window.
It was already late, and the grassland hadn't had any snow for days. The frozen lake, however, had a unique charm.
Suddenly, the cat saw Ziying.
She went to the vegetable field.
Besides tending to the flowers and plants, Ziying also looks after the vegetable garden every day.
Cat suddenly realized that Ziying seemed to have a lot of experience in cultivating spiritual plants! The seeds Cat gave to Old Man Ye had many problems even for him, but Ziying never had any problems growing them...
Nobody knows where she learned her skills.
Thinking about it, Maomao called Bai Jiang, and he answered very quickly.
"Sect Master," Bai Jiang called out.
The cat asked, "Did you go to see Old Man Ye?"
Bai Jiang said, "I've been there, but I've already left."
Cat said, "Alright, get ready, you'll be coming out to sea with me these next couple of days."
Bai Jiang immediately asked, "Going out to sea, are we going to the Whale Sea?"
The cat asked him instead, "How did you know it was Whale Sea?"
Bai Jiang honestly said, "Whale Sea is very lively lately, and many people want to go there to find treasure."
Upon hearing this, the cat raised an eyebrow slightly. This was interesting!
She got the information from the antique association, but she almost forgot that in these kinds of matters, there are always scoundrels drawn by the smell of blood! Bai Jiang has always mingled in many shady places, and his information in this area is far more advanced than hers.
The cat said, "You just need to arrange the water for irrigating the spirit plants, and you don't need to worry about anything else."
Bai Jiang responded, "Okay."
After she hung up the phone, she saw Ziying also come out of the vegetable field, but instead of going back to the villa, she turned around and walked to the wooden stakes.
She stood there for a while, then suddenly jumped up and started punching by herself!
The cat was surprised!
Although Ziying is quite skilled, she doesn't seem to have the initiative to practice. I don't know what's wrong with her today.
So the cat turned around and went downstairs, and soon arrived at the wooden stake.
Ziying should have known that the cat was coming, but she didn't stop.
Her punches were crisp and her footwork was solid. Cat was once again certain that Ziying had definitely developed a strong foundation since childhood!
It wasn't until Ziying finished her set of punches and stopped that she looked somewhat lost in her beautiful eyes.
She stood atop the tall post, lost in thought.
The cat spoke up first: "Mommy, why don't you get down?"
Ziying looked down at her, still a little hesitant, and jumped down, landing steadily on the ground.
“Sweetie, Mommy seems to have forgotten something.” Ziying paused, “But I can’t remember…”
The cat's expression shifted slightly. "Why do you say that?"
Ziying seemed to be trying to think of something. She said, "I don't know. Mom seems restless today. It's like she should be doing something, but I can't think of what it is... I think I forgot."
She was distressed, and anxiety appeared on her beautiful face.
The cat interrupted her in time, "Mom, don't think about it, it's nothing. Dad isn't here today, you probably miss him."
Ziying paused for a moment, then suddenly came to her senses. She gave the cat a reproachful look, "Sweetie, how many times have I told you not to call Mr. Jiu 'Dad'? Don't cause him any trouble, or Mommy won't stay here with you anymore."
The cat readily agreed, "Okay, I won't meow then."
Cat felt sorry for Jiu Zhongsheng, but Ziying didn't seem to have any sympathy for him at all.
On the way back, the cat asked, "Mommy, who taught you kung fu?"
Ziying said, "Mom always will."
Her tone was so natural, as if it were a skill that everyone should know!
The cat then asked, "So, who taught you how to grow vegetables?"
Ziying then asked, "Does this even need to be taught?"
Cat thought to herself for a moment, thinking that if Old Man Ye heard this, he would be furious.
When I returned to the living room, Hisa no Masaru was there. He seemed to have just come back, as he hadn't taken off his coat yet.
Upon seeing the two women, Hisa no Mori asked, "Where have you been?"
Ziying said, "I went for a walk in the vegetable field and picked some vegetables to eat tonight."
Jiu Zhongsheng smiled.
After handing Ziying over to Jiu Zhongsheng, Maomao returned to her room.
She found Mu Xi's diary and started reading it again. She had actually read all the contents before, but she was still unwilling to give up and wanted to find something more in it...
Although Ziying's condition has improved, Maomao has not yet found a suitable opportunity to mention "Sea Eye" to her, as this is a risky idea because it is very likely to upset her.
The cat entered her life space and refined some pills, mainly for Ziying to take at night, as well as some healing medicine that might be needed. She wanted to take them with her when she went to sea, just in case.
10 PM.
After the cat came out, she found a lot of messages on her phone. She grabbed it and looked at it. There was a friend request from an unknown person on WeChat.
She looked at the text messages; the phone numbers were unfamiliar.
[Captain, we don't have a group chat.]
Let me guess, you blocked my phone number?
This is a new account I made especially for you. Don't block me; you'll need it.
After watching it, even the cat knew who it was: Song Sifan!
