As she spoke, the cat continued to stroke, eventually touching Mu Jin's hand.
She immediately burst into laughter.
Mu Jin looked at her. "Of course I came to find you. Where have you been?"
Cat didn't answer; she was clearly more concerned about another question, "Ah Jin, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?"
Mu Jin tried to pull her hand back, but failed.
The cat is openly taking advantage of the situation.
Mu Jin: "Answer my question first."
Suddenly, the cat jumped onto the bed and stepped over Mu Jin.
She was wearing a yukata that only reached above her knees. With a large movement, her slender legs seemed to extend upwards instantly, and under the light, for a moment only her soft, creamy white skin appeared...
"cough!"
Mu Jin choked for some reason, her head suddenly turned in another direction, and her expression became quite interesting. She had been in control just now, but now she looked flustered.
Cat patted his chest. "What's wrong, Jin? I didn't do anything bad. I went and put the artifacts that H country salvaged onto the ship of the East. Aren't I smart?"
Mu Jin nimbly picked up the towel that the cat had just thrown down and placed it on the cat's head. "Dry your hair first."
He quickly pulled up the blanket and covered the cat from its feet to its shoulders, leaving only its face exposed.
The cat took the towel. "Ah Jin, why are you covering me with a blanket?"
As she spoke, she threw off the blanket and gracefully stretched her legs.
Mu Jin looked over and silently covered the cat with the blanket again, saying, "It's cold, don't kick off the blanket."
Seeing that the cat was being disobedient and kept pulling at him, he simply put his hand there and stopped.
"Why did you tease Yamashita Shiki?" Mu Jin asked, forcefully changing the subject.
The cat said, "Because they came to steal my cat! Besides, I also want to push Yamashita Ichiro a little harder and see if he'll do something desperate."
Mu Jin looked at the cat and asked, "Are you targeting Yamashita Chi? What did he do to upset you?"
Cat looked at Mu Jin and studied his expression, but she failed. What Mu Jin didn't want people to know, he never gave anyone a chance to observe.
So, the cat said, "Because... Yamashita's purpose is likely not pure. People who are friendly on the surface but do bad things behind the scenes are the most annoying!"
Mu Jin didn't seem surprised by her statement; he simply said, "You should have told me."
The cat glanced to the side. "I'm not telling you. Anyway, you don't tell me everything."
Mu Jin raised her eyelids and looked at the cat's self-righteous profile.
After a long pause, Mu Jin said softly, "We're even."
The cat immediately turned its head.
Seemingly realizing that their conversation had reached a dead end, Mu Jin suddenly compromised and said, "You're very smart."
If we simply steal those artifacts back, the people on the other ships will definitely investigate, and it will be difficult to explain the situation to the ships that didn't lose anything. Targeting H country and Japan separately would be a feasible option.
"Hehe." The cat chuckled.
Mu Jin rolled out of bed and said, "It's almost dawn, you should get some sleep."
Suddenly, the cat grabbed Mu Jin's hand and blinked. "Jin, wait for me here. You're not asleep either, and it's getting late, so just make do with me for a bit."
Mu Jin glanced at the cat wrapped in a blanket and said without thinking, "No."
Cat was silent for a moment, then suddenly straightened up and pulled hard, dragging Mu Jin back onto the bed. She then pounced on him and pinned him down, not giving him a chance to get up.
She unfolded the blanket and covered the two of them.
Cat raised her head slightly and smiled at Mu Jin, "That's fine! Mu Jin, stop struggling, aren't you tired?"
A soft body instantly embraced her, and the sweet scent of shower gel filled her senses. Mu Jin's body stiffened like a stone.
"Jiu Maomao!" His voice was laced with gritted teeth.
"Oh? The boat is rocking so much, Ah Jin, hold me tight, I think I'm getting seasick," Cat said pitifully.
Mu Jin closed his eyes, suppressing the raging fire within him. He took a step back and said, "I won't leave... but you better behave yourself."
"I... am very well-behaved," the cat muttered.
Mu Jin opened his eyes abruptly, a hint of suppressed red rising in them, which spread all the way to his ears. He reached under the covers and pulled out the hand that had slipped inside his hoodie.
His other hand held down her legs.
"Is this your idea of being well-behaved?" Mu Jin looked at the cat with a slightly fierce expression.
This cat is quite nimble; it almost stripped his clothes off in no time.
The cat buried its head in Mu Jin's shoulder, avoiding his gaze, "I was just worried you'd be uncomfortable sleeping in your clothes."
Mu Jin said, "Jiu Maomao, should I praise you for being so meticulous?"
Cat said, "No need for praise... I care about A-Jin the most."
"...I won't feel uncomfortable, you go to sleep right away." Mu Jin let out a long sigh.
But the cat said, "But it will make the cat uncomfortable; your clothes are too stiff."
This cat has quite a few demands!
Upon hearing this, Mu Jin laughed in anger, "Then should I strip naked and keep you company?"
The cat nodded excitedly, "That's perfect!"
Mu Jin pressed the cat's head down and said forcefully, "Close your eyes and go to sleep. If you say another word, I'll tie you up."
The cat, its eyes slightly open, nestled on Mu Jin's shoulder, revealing a reddish ear tip that appeared somewhat translucent under the light.
The cat obediently shut up, but she secretly smiled. Look what she discovered! Ah Jin really can be shy!
Although she wanted to say, Ah Jin's body is so hot! His heart is beating so fast!
The cat rubbed against her, indicating that she was being good.
The hands and feet under the blanket also stayed still.
After a while, the cat's breathing became steady, and it remained motionless, seemingly asleep.
Mu Jin's body gradually relaxed, but soon he stiffened again, silently cursing, "Damn it."
His hand recoiled as if burned, instantly pulling away from the cat's thigh! But the soft, smooth touch seemed to take root in his hand, impossible to shake off.
I was so focused on stopping the cat that I forgot what he did.
My blood suddenly felt excited and I couldn't cool it down.
He held the cat around the waist and shifted his position slightly.
But the cat seemed to be startled and hugged Mu Jin tightly as well.
Mu Jin immediately stopped moving.
He stared at the ceiling, for the second time, and his will seemed utterly fragile.
After a while, her restless body still couldn't calm down, so Mu Jin gently hugged the cat's head and noticed that her hair was still a little wet.
The slight chill brought him back to his senses.
He fetched a towel and wiped the cat for a while, wiping it very carefully until finally, his own body returned to normal.
"Did I owe you something in my past life?"
Mu Jin said in a very soft voice, almost like a sigh.
