Chapter 465 Taking Advantage in the Name of the Sun God

"Ah Jin, where do you live? Can't I come to you?"

"Can't you move in with me? This is all my territory."

"Ah Jin, why do you smell so nice?"

"Ah Jin, this is my soul tablet, I'm giving it to you, hehe, I'm giving my life to you."

In his dazed state, Mu Jin kept hearing these words replaying in his mind. He couldn't tell if it was a dream or reality.

Until his consciousness broke free of its shackles and he awoke from a state of chaos, he suddenly opened his eyes to find his cat's delighted smile above him. "Ah Jin, you're awake!"

Mu Jin looked at the cat and slowly blinked.

"Kitty," Mu Jin called out.

The cat nodded. "I'm here, Ah Jin. You were unconscious for so long, it scared me."

Cat was so happy that she didn't even notice that Mu Jin never called her Cat; he preferred to call her by her full name, Jiu Cat.

Mu Jin raised her head, took out the necklace from her neck, and picked up the black "nothing to worry about" plaque. "Kitty, what's this?"

Cat paused for a moment, then touched the soul tablet that still carried Mu Jin's warmth, and chuckled, "Isn't this your treasure? Why are you asking me?"

Mu Jin looked at the soul tablet. He couldn't explain why he dreamed of such bizarre things while he was unconscious. The clothes he was wearing were just like the ones the cat dressed "Jin Shen" in the game.

She even personally gave him this item, telling him that it was her soul tablet.

Are these... dreams woven from his subconscious?

Or...did it really happen? Could it be that he really had a past life?

Just then, the cat suddenly said, "Ah Jin, look at the sunrise."

Mu Jin stuffed the soul tablet back into his clothes. He propped himself up and saw the enormous sunrise. They were bathed in the red glow of the sea and sky, and between heaven and earth, there was only each other.

Suddenly, the cat kissed Mu Jin on the cheek. "I heard that if you kiss your loved one at sunrise, you will be blessed by the sun god."

Mu Jin looked at the cat and asked casually, "Does the blessing of the Sun God work?"

The cat said, "It works!"

She certainly didn't need the sun god's blessing, but to openly and legitimately kiss Ah Jin in the name of the sun god was a huge win.

Mu Jin said, "You kissed so quickly, the Sun God probably didn't even see it."

Cat was immediately surprised. Her comprehension was probably correct, right? Ah Jin thought she kissed him too quickly?

“You make a good point. I’ll try again.” Cat said, then kissed Mu Jin again.

She kissed his cheek, but Mu Jin suddenly turned his head, and her kiss landed on Mu Jin's lips!

Before the cat could even rejoice at this unexpected surprise, Mu Jin kissed her! His hand pressed against the back of her head, deepening the kiss.

The sunrise was beautiful, the sea was beautiful, and the silhouettes of the group kissing were beautiful too.

After a long while, the two separated. Mu Jin ran her fingers through the cat's soft hair, her voice a little hoarse, "You've seen enough of the Sun God."

The cat nestled on Mu Jin's shoulder and rubbed against his neck. "Jin, you smell nice."

Mu Jin paused for a moment.

The cat chuckled, "It smells so good! Is this the scent of a virgin?"

"Jiu Maomao, are you asking for a beating again?" Mu Jin said.

"I was just kidding..." Cat quickly added, "You're not really going to hit me."

Her tone clearly indicated that she was not afraid of anything.

Mu Jin suddenly knocked the cat down and slapped her buttocks twice.

The cat immediately shielded its back, shouting, "Death is acceptable, but dishonor is not! Ah Jin! Don't I have any dignity?"

Cats remain unfazed by countless divine attacks, but they absolutely cannot tolerate being spanked! Only human children get spanked like that, right? And they'd wail and cry! So childish!

Mu Jin raised an eyebrow, seemingly a little surprised by the cat's strong reaction.

He held her shoulders to prevent her from struggling and said, "Didn't you say I wouldn't hit you? Then go ahead and make a few more jokes."

"I don't want to joke anymore, it's not funny at all!" Cat immediately backed down, afraid that Mu Jin would hit her a couple more times.

"It would have been better if you had realized it sooner," Mu Jin said casually, pulling the cat up.

He saw the cat give him a wary look, still protecting its own back, which was rather amusing.

Then, Mu Jin smiled; it seemed he had found a way to deal with the cat.

“Ah Jin, you’ve become bad,” the cat said.

He actually hit her!

"Heh, I've never met anyone as good as me." Mu Jin said in a rather unserious manner, after all, no one would believe her if they heard her say that.

After a pause, Mu Jin finally touched the shark below and glanced at Maomao, "Jiu Maomao, what's going on with this great white shark? Why has it become our mount?"

The cat said, "I've conquered it."

Mu Jin asked, "How did you conquer it?"

The cat said, "I reasoned with it. I told it that if it didn't listen, I would kill it, and then it listened."

Mu Jin curled the corners of her lips, "Then you really spoke some good reasoning."

The cat nodded.

"And what about these clothes? Did you reason with them to get them too?" As she spoke, Mu Jin took off the clothes. They were too small and uncomfortable to wear; they were the cat's clothes.

"This..." Cat was speechless; she didn't know how to make it up.
