"Where did this cat come from?"
As soon as Jiu Yebai finished speaking, Maomao grabbed his sleeve and said urgently, "Hurry up, follow meow meow!"
Jiu Yebai looked at the black cat, which had landed on the corridor. It turned its head to look at them in a human-like manner, and then led the way.

The empty lobby was filled with a hoarse voice:

She casually tucked her phone into her pocket, her long, thick eyelashes fluttering loosely.
But in their line of sight, a woman was hopping and skipping towards them at lightning speed!

The cat pounced into the man's arms, its uninjured left leg tightly hooked around his narrow waist, while its right leg, though not supporting itself, clung stubbornly to him with its arms.
She burrowed into his neck, inhaling his scent.
Although it contained some unfamiliar elements of everyday life, it was indeed Ah Jin's soul!
"Didn't you say you'd let the cat wait for you in hell? The cat was good and was waiting for you, but an old man said you were injured, so the cat came to find you..."
The cat cried incoherently. She had imagined what Ah Jin would look like countless times, but she just couldn't stop herself from crying.

The person in his arms seemed completely oblivious to his warning, crying even more aggrievedly, choking out "Ah Jin, Ah Jin".

Just then, a shout woke up the stunned group, and a man rushed over like lightning.
The woman behind the man also suddenly came to her senses.
Jiu Yebai, Tang Yuan, and Mi Li also ran over quickly.
It took several people a lot of effort to pull the cat off the man.
The man ripped off his tattered jacket, tossed it over his shoulder, and his stray hairs obscured his overly gloomy eyes. "A mental hospital? Wrong hospital? Can't the family keep a closer eye on him?"
After saying that, she quickly walked out with her long legs and got into a sports car parked at the door.

The black cat jumped onto the hood of the sports car, its two front paws scratching at the windshield.

After saying this, he quickly ran to get his car.
With a roar of the engine, the sports car disappeared from everyone's sight in the blink of an eye.
The woman who had just come out with the man looked at the chaotic scene with disgust and could only drive away on her own.
Suddenly, the cat stopped crying and quieted down, lowering her head deeply.
Jiu Yebai was still holding her, and her petite body, slightly curled up, looked like a lifeless puppet. A huge sadness suddenly spread around them, and the temperature in the air seemed to drop sharply as a result.
"Meow, meow."
The black cat paced anxiously, cautiously touching her with its front paws.
Jiu Yebai looked down at the person in his arms. Her long hair hung down, and she was motionless. A suffocating feeling enveloped him; she was heartbroken…
This thought left him at a loss, because he couldn't describe the look in Jiu Xintian's eyes when she watched that man leave. What kind of feeling was it, with immense hope and heart-wrenching sadness intertwined?
