Jiu Nanxun finally managed to get her phone back, but it was too late; Jiu Shiyi had already exposed her.
"Do you even know who it is? You're just spouting nonsense to your sister. Are you trying to harm me?" Jiu Nanxun looked at Jiu Shiyi speechlessly.
Jiu Shiyi shook his head innocently. "No, Sister Xun, do you have some kind of misunderstanding with this person? It shouldn't be a spam call, right? I saw 'Jiang Huahua' on the caller ID. She should be your friend."
Friends my foot! Jiang Huahua is definitely her enemy.
"Good friends should clear things up if they have a misunderstanding, otherwise you'll definitely feel bad too," Jiu Shiyi said with concern.
Looking at Jiu Shiyi's innocent expression, Jiu Nanxun couldn't even bring herself to blame him anymore. She sighed, "Little Yi, have you had enough fun? If you bring this person over, I won't be able to play with you anymore."
Jiu Shiyi said considerately, "It's okay, Sister Xun, I'm already very happy today."
"Forget it, let's go. Don't eat anymore. I'll take you to the bonfire party. You can eat there too."
...
the next day.
When the cat woke up, she immediately turned her head and saw that Mu Jin was sleeping next to her. The cat smiled and her bright eyes were filled with satisfaction.
Mu Jin's hand rested on her waist, her eyes closed, her two fine eyelashes drooping quietly.
The cat slowly turned around and stared at him for a long time.
Scenes from before bed flashed through her mind. The cat was laughing foolishly. Her Ah Jin, it turned out, could be so vigorous. It was just a pity that he never went all the way, no matter how she coaxed him.
Ah Jin had learned some fancy tricks from somewhere, which made her momentarily confused about the difference between a man and a woman going all the way and not going all the way...
The blanket covered the view the cat wanted to see, and she quietly slipped inside, trying not to disturb Mu Jin.
However, two large hands quickly pulled her up. "What do you want to do?"
Mu Jin's voice was a little hoarse, still groggy from just waking up. He looked at the cat with a lazy gaze, not as intimidating as when it was fully awake. Its hair was a bit messy, and it looked incredibly obedient.
“Ah Jin…” Cat blinked.
"Um?"
The cat couldn't help but pat Mu Jin's head, "Ah Jin."
"What's wrong?"
The cat blinked again, "I almost slept with you."
Ah Jin's sleep progress bar suddenly jumped to 99.9999%... and then got stuck.
Mu Jin opened her eyes slightly, becoming a little more awake. "Aren't you in my bed now? You're already asleep."
"No, not yet," the cat said firmly.
Mu Jin turned over and lay face up. He sighed, "How do you still have the energy to think about these things?"
The cat nestled on his chest, saying, "I'm healthy!"
Mu Jin sat up, taking the cat from his chest with him. He had to get up quickly, otherwise, the cat might do something dangerous. It was early in the morning, and he didn't want to make things difficult for himself.
He picked up his clothes from the ground, put them on in front of the cat, and then handed her her clothes.
"Jiu Maomao, wake up."
Cat had no choice but to slowly put on her clothes. When she stepped on the ground, she suddenly felt her legs were sore and she couldn't stand, so she fell onto Mu Jin.
Mu Jin reached out and supported her, asking calmly, "Aren't you in good health?"
Cat's expression changed, she adjusted for a moment, and then flatly denied it, "I'm perfectly fine! This must be from falling by the river yesterday, um!"
Mu Jin didn't expose her, but just stood with her for a while before leaving.
"Sister, when did you get back?" Jiu Nanxun asked immediately upon seeing the cat.
When she and Jiu Shiyi returned from the bonfire party last night, it was almost midnight, but they still hadn't seen Maomao.
The cat looked at Jiu Nanxun and said in a good mood, "Yesterday."
"What time was it yesterday? We saw you both times we came here."
Jiu Shiyi looked up and saw that Mu Jin had also come down at that moment. He seemed to have thought of something and pushed the plate in front of Jiu Nanxun. "We must have missed them, so we didn't see Sister and the others. Sister Xun, hurry up and eat your breakfast."
"Oh." Kunan Kaoru didn't think much of it.
Mu Jin's phone rang, and he took a sandwich from the table and went out to answer it.
"What's up?"
Mu Jin listened, but slowly frowned. After a while, he simply said, "I understand," and hung up the phone.
Mu Jin threw away the sandwich she had only taken two bites of.
Just then, a car stopped directly in front of him. A bodyguard got out and opened the door. Jiang Shaoze, dressed in a crisp white suit, stepped out of the back seat.
He always appeared like a prince, holding a bouquet of bright red roses.
Mu Jin sneered without any attempt to hide it, "Jiang Shaoze, you're like a fresh corpse. If you dress up a bit nicely, you can blend into the crowd. Aren't you afraid that Jiu Nanxun will see through you in the future?"
Jiang Shaoze was not surprised that Mu Jin was here. In fact, he already knew who was here. Jiang Su had reported to him. He just didn't want to run into Mu Jin, which was why he chose to come this morning.
Jiang Shaoze glanced at Mu Jin and said, "Second Master, you've gone to a lot of trouble. I can handle my own affairs."
Mu Jin didn't say much and turned to walk back.
Jiang Shaoze was also there.
Mu Jin opened the door, and before going in, she suddenly glanced at Jiang Shaoze and snatched the bouquet of roses from his hand when he was completely unprepared.
