The perfume developed by the cat was unexpectedly successful. She extracted a fragrance that did not exist in the current vast perfume kingdom, which left a deep impression. The reason for this was related to the source of the fragrance, which was because she was able to grow spiritual plants.
What Maomao did had a great impact on the Jiang family, because the Fire Gate was engaged in health preservation, but now, whether inside or outside the Eight Gates, people had more faith in Maomao.
After a while, the dishes were served.
Jiu Nanxun glanced at Jiang Shaoze, picked up the wine bottle, and said, "Why aren't you drinking? I already said it's delicious, don't you believe me?"
Jiang Shaoze raised his eyes and looked deeply into Jiu Nanxun's eyes. "I believe in you, Xiao Xun."
As he spoke, he opened one of the bottles and poured a glass for himself and Jiu Nanxun.
Jiu Nanxun stared at him, as if waiting for his evaluation results. Jiang Shaoze picked up his wine glass, drank it, and said, "Sweet," in response to Jiu Nanxun's questioning gaze.
"Yeah?"
Jiu Nanxun's mouth watered at the mention of the new wine. In fact, she had never tasted the new wine before. She had only tasted "Beauty's Intoxication" on New Year's Eve, which was made from peach blossoms.
However, there are many varieties of new wines. For example, the bottle we just opened is osmanthus wine, which smells very fragrant.
She tried it too, and it tasted delicious!
After finishing the bottle of wine, Jiu Nanxun realized that Jiang Shaoze had barely drunk any; he seemed to be genuinely taking care of his health, while she was like drinking plain water.
"Why aren't you drinking?" Ku Nanxun asked him.
Jiang Shaoze covered his heart with his clean hand. "Xiao Xun, the doctor told me to drink less alcohol."
"You actually listened to the doctor?"
This is truly rare. Jiang Shaoze used to seem to have a grudge against doctors and wouldn't even listen to them, let alone hear it from his own mouth.
Jiang Shaoze looked at her with a hint of pleasure, "Didn't you, Xiao Xun, tell me to follow the doctor's orders?"
Kunan Kaoru lowered her eyes and silently ate her food.
When they finished eating and left, Jiang Shaoze conscientiously paid the bill, which came to twenty million.
"I want to go home," Jiu Nanxun said. She had been patient enough today, having spent the whole day playing with Jiang Shaoze.
Jiang Shaoze readily agreed, "Okay."
She didn't know how much time had passed when Jiu Nanxun woke up groggily, driven by thirst. She got up and almost rolled off the sofa, the blanket covering her falling to the floor.
She felt around on the table for a while and found that there was no water there, so she went to the kitchen.
She opened the refrigerator and immediately saw a lot of drinks. She took out a bottle of Coke, tilted her head back, and drank more than half of it in one gulp, letting out a satisfied burp. "Strange, when did we get Coke in the house..."
They don't have any soft drinks at home because, for some time now, the refrigerator has been filled with freshly squeezed juice, and Jiu Nanxun hasn't had a soft drink in a long time.
"Xiao Xun, don't you want a Coke?" someone asked from behind.
Jiu Nanxun turned around, still unsteady on her feet. She touched the man's face and asked, "When did Jiang Huahua get into the family?"
Jiang Shaoze helped Jiu Nanxun up. "Xiao Xun, go lie down on the sofa."
"Why should I lie down? I'm not lying down..." Jiu Nanxun pushed Jiang Shaoze away. She twitched her nose, smelled a fragrance, and couldn't help but follow the scent.
A white soup pot was bubbling away, filled with bone broth made with milk. She took a spoonful and was about to drink it.
Jiang Shaoze grabbed her hand in time, "Xiao Xun, you can't drink this, it's too hot."
Seeing that the soup she was about to eat was gone, Jiu Nanxun slapped Jiang Shaoze away, "Why do you control everything! You won't let me do what I want to do! I can't even have a bowl of soup! Who told you to come to my house! Get out of here!"
Jiu Nanxun leaned against the cupboard, swaying back and forth. Jiang Shaoze watched her nervously; there was still a knife he hadn't put away on it, and he was afraid that Jiu Nanxun would cut herself.
"Xiao Xun, are you feeling unwell? Let me help you out, I'll bring you the soup. I didn't mean to stop you from drinking it," he explained quickly.
Jiu Nanxun just waved at him, preventing him from getting closer, "Go away!"
She was waving her arms so wildly that she almost overturned the cutting board several times, which made Jiang Shaoze a little scared. He suddenly stepped forward, grabbed her arm, and carried her on his shoulder... and out the door.
Jiu Nanxun kicked and punched him hard until she was put on the sofa. Jiu Nanxun's shoes were nowhere to be found. She lay on the sofa, looking around for her shoes.
Jiang Shaoze quickly returned to the kitchen to serve her soup.
Jiu Nanxun couldn't find her shoes and suddenly burst into tears, "Jiang Shaoze, why are you bullying me again! You're like a persistent ghost! Give me back my shoes!"
Jiang Shaoze had just put down the soup when he went to pick up her shoes.
"Jiang Shaoze." Jiu Nanxun suddenly grabbed Jiang Shaoze's clothes and pulled him in front of her. "What exactly do you want? I've already given in to you in every way, what more do you want from me?"
Jiang Shaoze said softly, "Xiao Xun, I want you to love me."
Ku Nanxun shouted, "I love you! Don't I love you enough? You almost erased my memories. Do you want me to be a doll who listens to everything you say? I've already forgiven you like this, what more do you want?"
Why are you forcing me? I like you so much, I trust you so much, but you never believe me. I'm not as capable as my sister, but I can love someone wholeheartedly like she does!
If you can't change your bad habits, you shouldn't bother me anymore. Trying so hard to appear in front of me every day, I don't even have a chance to forget you!
