Chapter 581 Second Master is Taken

Where do you want to go?

Cat thought for a moment, but before she could come up with a place, her phone rang.

She picked it up casually, and upon looking at it, she saw Song Sifan's name prominently displayed on the screen.

She couldn't help but glance at Mu Jin, who was also looking at her with a gaze that, though indifferent, seemed to be supervising her.

Cat immediately said, "He doesn't call me often."

"Why didn't you answer?" Mu Jin asked her.

"Then I'll answer." She wasn't wondering whether she should answer. Song Sifan always said strange things, and although she could ignore them, she didn't want Ajin to hear them.

She answered the phone, "Is something wrong?"

Song Sifan: "When are you coming to the film set?"

Cat frowned. "You're not trying to get me to go back to filming, are you? Didn't you say you'd give me the day off today?"

Song Sifan: "I won't rush you to film. You can film if you want, or rest if you don't want to. But I've brought you the experimental results on red coral that you wanted. I'll give them to you whenever you come."

The cat asked curiously, "Why didn't you give Tan Zheng a gift?"

Song Sifan: "This is an agreement between us, so naturally I can't give it to anyone else. Do you think the results of this experiment are that simple?"

The room was quiet, and Song Sifan's voice came through the receiver, which Mu Jin could hear clearly.

At this moment, he slightly raised his eyelids.

Just as Maomao was about to tell Song Sifan that she would tell him when she went to film, Mu Jin suddenly covered her mouth and said, "Go get it now."

Cat looked at Mu Jin with a puzzled expression. After he removed his hand, Cat asked, "Where are you? I'll go get it now."

You came to see me?

Cat: "Yes!"

"Painting Garden, I am in Painting Garden."

After hanging up the phone, Maomao looked at Mujin and asked, "Mujin, do you want to see the results of the red coral experiment? Shall I go get it now?"

Mu Jin pulled up his shirt and put it on. "I'll go with you. Didn't you want to go out and have fun? The painting garden is alright."

Cat had never been to the painting garden, but since Mu Jin said it was alright, it must be good. "Hehe, Mu Jin, do you not want Song Sifan to see me alone?"

Mu Jin lowered her eyes and gently patted her head. "It's good that you know."

The cat's smile made me feel great.

...

Huayuan Garden is an old building, a garden with a strong Jiangnan (southern China) aesthetic. The former owner was obsessed with painting. Whenever he heard of a master painter, he would invite them to paint in the garden at great expense. Over the years, the garden has become filled with exquisite paintings.

It has been passed down to this day and has become a veritable art garden.

The current owner of the painting garden is Song Sifan.

When Maomao and Mujin arrived, a very beautiful woman led them through some corridors and through many moon gates. Each courtyard had a different view, and poems and paintings could be seen everywhere on the walls.

The woman leading the way glanced at Mu Jin several times, but Mu Jin didn't seem embarrassed at all.

When she had looked at it for what felt like the umpteenth time, the cat suddenly spoke up: "Sister, if you look again, I'll gouge your eyes out!"

She spoke so casually, her tone hardly suggesting someone who would gouge out eyes. The woman looked at the cat with some surprise, then chuckled, "How scary, I won't look."

As they were talking, they passed through another small gate. The courtyard was large, with a lotus pond in the center and a pavilion built on top of it.

There were still many people in the pavilion, men and women, all intently looking in one direction.

A long table made of pear wood was covered with a long sheet of Xuan paper, and Song Sifan was painting.

Cat also glanced at it. It was this garden that he had painted. The brushwork was meticulous and the ink was just right. Although it was an ink painting, it perfectly captured the vitality of early summer.

The people around were also watching intently, especially the women. They would look at the painting for a while, then at Song Sifan, as if they wanted to see both. Their eyes... were like admiration and love. They were definitely fangirls.

The cat glanced at it once before its gaze shifted to the lotus pond. There were no lotus flowers now, but the lotus leaves were lush and green, and many precious goldfish swam leisurely to and fro beneath the surface.

She glanced at the table next to her, where there were some snacks and desserts. She broke off some of the snacks and threw them into the water.

Soon, the leisurely goldfish gathered around and began nibbling at the crumbs of snacks on the water's surface.

Mu Jin stood next to her, looked down at her, and said, "Song Sifan is drawing a picture of you, aren't you going to take a look?"

"I glanced at it," Cat said, but she quickly added, "What does his drawing have to do with Cat? Why is it being drawn for me?"

“If you don’t come, he won’t paint anymore.” Mu Jin’s voice was calm and resolute.

Cat looked at Mu Jin, "Is that so? But I don't like drawing."

Upon hearing this, Mu Jin's lips curled slightly. He smiled because he knew.

It's hard to say what this cat likes, but there are very few things she dislikes.

She disliked calligraphy, painting, and anything related to art.

When they first met, he taught her to write and draw to keep her entertained. She managed to learn to write, but she wasn't focused and would go play after writing for a while, let alone draw.

She really doesn't like either of those things, and even now, she can't write well.

Therefore, no matter how well Song Sifan paints, the cat can't appreciate it.

At this moment, some people around gasped in amazement, as if Song Sifan had finished painting.

"To see the sect leader paint in person today is truly worthwhile."

"This painting is more pleasing to the eye than the real garden. Even if I practice for another eight hundred years, I will never reach the level of the sect leader."
