Chapter 709 Confession, Surrounded

Pei Wu didn't stop for a moment. He put on his parachute and jumped out of the plane quickly. Jumping now still gave him a sliver of hope; if he waited any longer, he would be dead!

Mu Jin put away her sniper rifle and looked towards the deck.

"What is that?" Jiu Yebai frowned.

Yun Que wanted to go and check, but Jiu Yebai stopped her, "Don't go over there. Pei Wu came all this way, he can't just be throwing away some trash."

Yun Que lowered her head, her gaze falling on Jiu Ye Bai's hand, where he was gripping her arm tightly.

"We should go and see what it is."

Jiu Yebai stepped forward. "I'll go take a look."

Mu Jin suddenly spoke up, "No one needs to go. Everyone should retreat back to the cabin, and don't come out!"

His usually indifferent tone became very firm at this moment.

This time, the lark immediately retreated.

After a moment's hesitation, Li Zhongcheng and the others also ran back to the cabin. Master Jin's words were the words of the sect leader, and they had to get used to it.

Soon, only Mu Jin, Maomao, Jiang Shaoze, and Bai Jiang remained on the deck.

"What is this thing? Why is there a blue liquid flowing out?"

"Could it be poison?"

"Don't talk nonsense. Second Master Jin definitely knows. Let's not panic."

Jiu Yebai closed all the hatches, then went to the window and looked out.

He frowned, sensing something was wrong, but he knew his place; if anything unexpected happened, he couldn't let the cat get in his way.

Suddenly, Jiu Yebai looked down and saw a hand smaller than his grasping his. He then looked at the owner of the hand, Yun Que.

"What...what are you doing now?"

Hibari also looked at Kuya Shiro, "If we hadn't died, I would definitely have taken responsibility for you."

Jiu Yebai's brows furrowed deeply. He pulled Yun Que closer to him, hoping their conversation wouldn't be overheard. He gritted his teeth.

"You... can't you understand me? I don't need you to take responsibility!"

"Also, don't mention this matter again!"

God knows, Jiu Yebai was driven crazy by those words. He dreamed of Yun Que staring at him expressionlessly, saying she would take responsibility.

The lark paused.

He was angry.

But Yun Que still said, "But I want to take responsibility for you, is that really not allowed?"

Jiu Yebai was initially irritable, but after hearing Yun Que's words, he suddenly froze! His mind even went blank for a moment.

He asked, his voice slightly trembling, "What...what do you mean by that?"

Did he misunderstand? Was Hibari confessing her feelings to him?

Yun Que squeezed Jiu Ye Bai's hand tighter and looked at him. "I like you very much, I want you, but how can you agree?"

Yun Que had been thinking about this for a long time, day and night, even while doing tasks, she was distracted by it. She felt very sorry and thought she had failed in her duty, but she couldn't control herself.

The lark didn't know what the things on the deck were, but if the boss was so concerned about them, they must be dangerous.

If she were to die today, her only regret would definitely be not having won over Jiu Yebai, the boy she liked so much.

He liked her so much that one day her empty world was suddenly filled with him alone.

Jiu Yebai was momentarily unable to react.

What happened that night was purely accidental; he was caught off guard, but he had already adjusted his mindset.

But now, Hibari has suddenly confessed his feelings, and he's thrown into a panic! Someone actually confessed to him! He's never encountered anything like this before!

Even her speech became incoherent: "I'm not an object, what do you want? Just because you like me, does that mean I have to give it to you?"

The lark persisted in asking, "Is it really not possible?"

What should she do? She felt that if Jiu Yebai didn't agree, she wouldn't care if she died here.

Kuyabai noticed Hibari's disappointment, and strangely enough, he seemed to be able to understand the emotional changes hidden beneath Hibari's simple expression.

He didn't realize that he had been observing larks so much lately that he understood some things much better in his mind than in his brain.

He was already somewhat confused by Hibari's sudden words, and now he was even more at a loss for words.

But just then, blue liquid started climbing up the glass window in front of us!

Qi Song asked in surprise, "What is that thing? How did it climb up there by itself?"

Jiu Yebai also looked over, his expression somewhat solemn. The blue liquid kept climbing upwards, gradually completely blocking their view!

The cabin they were in now felt completely sealed off, making it somewhat suffocating.

But Jiu Yebai had nothing to be afraid of, because Maomao and Mu Jin were still outside.

When Jiu Yebai turned his head, he saw Jiu Nanxun leaning over the door, anxiously looking outside. He immediately pulled her over.

"Get away from that, what are you doing?"

"This liquid is so strange," Jiu Nanxun said worriedly. "Will Jiang Shaoze and the others be alright?"

Jiu Yebai was speechless for a moment; she was quite worried about Jiang Shaoze.

"Everything will be fine. Just take good care of yourself and stay away from doors and windows."

His intuition told him that the blue liquid was troublesome.

Suddenly, Jiu Yebai made a hand seal and used a barrier technique. The transparent barrier slowly expanded until it adhered to the doors and windows of the cabin.

He felt a little relieved when he lowered his hand, hoping to prevent the blue liquid from seeping in through the crack.

On the deck.

The cat looked down and saw that the blue liquid had spread from her feet, flowing very quickly and carrying a strange vitality.

"This water... it's alive," the cat said doubtfully. "I've never seen it before."
