She came to the bedside and sat down.
"But I can't leave."
The cat asked, "Why?"
Mu Xi: "I have things I must do... By the way, can my second brother really come? If I can see him, I will be content. I really didn't expect that I would be able to see someone from that world again in my lifetime. I am already very happy."
The cat was a little annoyed. "Don't try to change the subject. Whatever you need to accomplish, I can help you with it. Anyway, you have to come back with me."
Mu Xi looked at the cat, "It's not as simple as you say."
Cat frowned, then suddenly pinched Mu Xi's face and rubbed it hard.
Mu Xi's face was kneaded into all sorts of shapes by her. She reached out, trying to stop the cat, but ultimately didn't.
She was somewhat resistant, yet also somewhat eager to get close to her.
Since becoming Mu Xi, she had never had such playmates. Her companions were all men, and she had to be careful when going out. Over the years, she had actually gotten used to it.
"There's nothing a cat can't do. Just tell me if you don't believe me."
Cat released Mu Xi and looked at her reddened face, feeling a little better.
Mu Xi said, "Don't keep asking me questions. I still have many questions I want to ask you... What exactly happened on your side? Why were you able to come here even though there was no ferry?"
Also, where did you get that map? When did you arrive?
The cat thought for a moment and decided that since she had to say it anyway, it didn't matter who went first or last.
However, she turned around and rolled onto the bed, patting it, "Come here, I'll tell you slowly."
Mu Xi also lay down.
"Because many people are already looking for the sea eye, there is competition among us. So, when the sea eye appeared, someone tripped us up and made Ah Jin's progress slow."
"Is Second Brother alright?" Mu Xi asked with immediate concern.
Cat: "Of course it's okay, he's Ah Jin! No one can hurt him."
Mu Xi smiled again, "That's right..."
In her eyes, her second brother was also omnipotent. She couldn't help but turn to the side, her thoughts jumping around a bit, "How did you and my second brother meet? Where are you from? Have I seen you before?"
The cat shook its head. "You haven't seen me. When you left, I hadn't found Ah Jin yet..."
Mu Xi laughed again: "You call me Second Brother, do you call me that too, A Jin?"
"Yes."
"That's great. Second Brother doesn't like people giving him nicknames. But this shouldn't be a nickname, it's a term of endearment, right?"
"right!"
"So how exactly did you and my second brother meet?"
The cat rested her head on her paws, her thoughts drifting far away. She said, "It was probably... more than a thousand years ago, hell was too boring, so I made the little devils kill each other."
Mu Xi found it strange. She was asking how the cat met her second brother, but it sounded like she was telling a fairy tale.
She was about to interrupt the cat when she suddenly realized that the cat was talking so intently, as if she were really telling her own story... and she couldn't help but listen.
"The weak little devils get eaten by the strong little devils, and the strong little devils get eaten by the even stronger little devils. It's a lot of fun, and it's lively every day."
"Then, some old gods in the heavens found out about this. They seemed to disapprove of my actions. The turbid energy in hell was already too heavy, and they were afraid that things would go to extremes and the turbid energy in hell would rush out and disturb countless small worlds."
"Later, they sent someone to arrest me. That person was your second brother, Ah Jin."
“Ah Jin didn’t arrest me, I don’t know why, but he comes back to be with me every day. With him by my side, I won’t pay any more attention to those little devils.”
“Ah Jin knows a lot of things, plays a lot of games, and has seen a lot of things I have never seen. He taught me to write, to draw, and to control my murderous intent.”
“He stayed with me for a long time, until one day he said he was going into seclusion and then went back.”
At this point, the cat suddenly stopped.
But Mu Xi had already taken it all in, and she subconsciously asked, "And then?"
Cat said, "Later, I heard that Ah Jin was imprisoned, so I left Hell to go find him... The Heavenly Realm is very big and chaotic. I had never been there before, and I don't know how I ended up on Kunlun Immortal Mountain."
"At that time, Kunlun Immortal Mountain was holding a grand banquet for immortals. Hundreds of immortals gathered at Yaochi to listen to songs and watch dances. I couldn't find Ajin, but I did find the banquet for immortals, and then... we started fighting."
Mu Xi: "There are hundreds of them, do you think they can take on just you?"
Cat: "Yeah! Those old sages, not one of them is any good. Hundreds of them ganged up on me... but surprisingly, not one of them could even fight me!"
Mu Xi chuckled: "Really? They can't even beat you?"
The cat looked smug. "Of course! They couldn't beat me, but... later they joined forces and used an ancient formation to trap me. The formation wasn't enough to kill me, but once trapped and sealed, the time to break the seal was a long way off."
Mu Xi: "What should we do then!"
Cat: "I don't want them to seal me away. I want to die with them, but Ah Jin came to find me."
Mu Xi: "Wow, is it Second Brother rescuing the damsel in distress?"
Cat nodded, "Yes, Ah Jin reversed the star orbit, causing the chaos to erupt instantly, and the war to destroy the demons collapsed! But... Ah Jin was also affected by the backlash and vanished into thin air."
Mu Xi propped herself up, frowning. "Your story is poorly written. How could you let my second brother die? In fairy tales, don't the prince and princess always end up happily ever after?"
