Chapter 767 The Grand Finale (Part 4)

Mu Xi was the first to not object. She was quite comfortable living here and never thought about moving out.

Mu Jin didn't speak, and neither did Mu Ye, seemingly acquiescing.

After this tacit understanding was reached, Madam Mu's spirits immediately improved.

Mu Ye picked up his phone and saw a post Mu Jin had made on WeChat Moments at noon. The comments section was already piled up dozens of times. It was rare for these people, whom he rarely saw, to be so active.

Kino raised an eyebrow, glanced at the string of numbers, and gently stroked his chin.

He suddenly looked at Mu Jin: "Where is your marriage certificate?"

Mu Jin was playing a game when she asked, "What are you doing?"

Kino: "Just to see what it looks like, and maybe get some of the good luck. Aren't you urging me to hurry up?"

Mu Jin really did carry it with him! He paused the game, then handed the marriage certificate to Mu Ye, saying with concern, "Handle with care."

Kino laughed.

He first opened the marriage certificate and looked at the photo of him and the cat. Then, he quickly spotted a long string of numbers at the bottom of the marriage certificate, which was the certificate's code.

Ah, he found the right answer.

However, he didn't reveal it to those people, enjoying the show and letting them think it was some kind of cosmic puzzle.

He held the marriage certificate in both hands and placed it on Mu Jin's chest, handling it with utmost care.

"He's smiling nicely in the photo, he looks quite like a real person."

Mu Jin glanced at him and said, "Be a decent human being before you judge me."

Mu Xi was speechless. "Big brother, second brother, you two are so old, how can you still be so mean?"

Mu Ye ruffled Mu Xi's hair, turned around and left. "Xiao Xi, go to sleep early. Go to work with your older brother tomorrow and experience the pressure he's under."

Mu Xi actually nodded. She jumped up and said, "That's fine. I don't have much to do lately. I'll go and do some odd jobs for my older brother. As long as you don't mind that I'm clumsy, that's fine."

Just as Gu Zeyi lay down in bed that night, a sudden idea struck him, and he abruptly got up!

A comment under Mu Jin's "mysterious code" post on WeChat Moments today reads: 【Damn! I remember now! It's the code on Jin Er and Maomao's marriage certificate!】

The experts who've been racking their brains for almost a day: [...]

So all Mu Jin did was show off her affection?!

Gan Qi: It's actually pretty simple.

It's so simple they couldn't even imagine it!

-------------------------------------

In the blink of an eye, a month has passed.

Outlying islands.

Cat and Mu Jin's wedding is being held here today.

Many boats were moored on the shore. This was probably the largest number of guests the island had ever received. There were no scheduled ferries from outside the island, so these boats were naturally brought here by the guests themselves.

Many people were visiting the outlying islands for the first time. They originally came for the wedding of Maomao and Mujin, but once they landed, they were captivated by the scenery along the way and became tourists.

Fortunately, there were enough "security guards" on the island, and members of the expanded special forces were temporarily assigned as tour guides.

The wedding was held here because Mu Jin arranged it, and because of that, the guest list was carefully selected, consisting entirely of trusted friends.

Because we had been visiting various places, it took a long time to get to the island. The wedding venue was decorated like a fairy tale.

A long, shallow pool, like a mirror, stretched out over the 360-degree ocean-view villa, where clusters of pure white daffodils exuded a delightful fragrance.

Gan Qi, dressed in an elegant manner, couldn't help but say as she walked around, "I feel like I've stepped into a fairy tale. What's going on here? Why are the flowers so graceful and the birds so free? They flew over my shoulder and said something I couldn't understand."

Gu Zeyi: "Are you reciting poetry?"

Gan Qi: "Oh, I swear, I didn't recite poetry. Art originates from reality. I was reciting reality because this place is simply a paradise on earth."

The biodiversity here truly amazed him.

Gu Zeyi: "This island has the magic to change genes. You've only been standing here for a little over two hours, and you've already changed."

Gan Qi picked up a glass of wine and gently swirled it. An enticing sweet aroma wafted from the glass, and he couldn't resist taking a sip. Just as he was about to speak, he saw a colorful butterfly perched on the rim of the glass, its thin, cicada-wing-like wings shimmering with a faint light.

Gan Qi held her breath, but after a moment, the butterfly fluttered its wings and flew away.

"This is a great place. I feel like I've made some very special friends."

Just like that butterfly from earlier.

Gu Zeyi couldn't help but say, "Stop reciting poetry. To paraphrase Maomao, you're from a wealthy family, so don't act like you've never seen anything like this before."

Gan Qi: "Alright."

Gan Qi arrived early, and soon after, the others arrived as well. They had all wandered around the island for a while before coming here—the main venue for the wedding.

It's the group from the Wuji Club.

Gan Qi looked at someone on the other side and suddenly asked, "Am I seeing things? Why am I seeing Lan Yan?"

At this moment, Ye Mingshi walked over and overheard the conversation. He said, "You're not mistaken, that's Lan Yan! It's a long story, but I can tell you the gist of it: Lan Yan is now Maomao's apprentice."

Gan Qi said knowingly, "Hey, he's climbed the social ladder! He's Second Sister-in-law's top student!"

Ye Mingshi snapped his fingers and told him, "That's right."

Gan Qi immediately walked over: "Then we should get to know each other properly. It's better to resolve conflicts than to create them, isn't it?"
