Chapter 1247 Divine Game: Divine Lesson 56 (Undead Wildfire) (1/2)

This was also the first time that Zhu Ri had used his divine talent word, and all the moonlight within his crown was exhausted.

The hands of the clock face seemed to be swept by sunlight, and a layer of dazzling light swept across the eyes of all the players. Even though the players present were already close to gods, their vision was still blurred by this light.

As the light faded, another person appeared where the person who had been standing there with wine and song.

The white robe, so loose it could be described as baggy, was embroidered with very faint blue magic patterns. A sapphire belt a hand's width was tied around the waist. The robe hung loosely, almost half of it billowing out in the wind. Slender, pale fingers held a white scepter, which touched the ground, and the blue gem at the top glowed faintly.

Her skin was unhealthy pale, and her long, dark blue hair shimmered faintly in the starlight. A white jade-like flower branch held her hair in place like a crown, but the end of the branch extended out and bloomed a blue flower over her left eye, perfectly obscuring it.

In her exposed right eye, her jewel-like, dazzling yet icy azure pupil was calmly surveying Zhu Ri and all the players nearby.

Quiet, vast, and mysterious.

Even though her hair color, eye color, and even her temperament had changed dramatically, everyone present recognized her face.

Let's drink and sing!

But everyone knew that the person in front of them wasn't there to drink and sing.

Even though they all seemed to be the kind of people with a refined and quiet temperament, there was a deep-seated emptiness about the person in front of them who was "seeking songs while carrying wine".

This was an aura that Zaijiu Xunge lacked. Even though Zaijiu Xunge had become cold after falling into the devil's game in the tranquil mountains, there was no such emptiness in her eyes.

This is an aura that can only be seen in cosmic wanderers—without home or kin, like a drifting ship without a world port of its own.

Zhu Ri didn't rush to attack. She said, "You're not Xun Ge."

The other person didn't rush to answer. She continued to observe her surroundings, but her eyebrows furrowed slightly, clearly analyzing the information in the sentence.

A moment later, a faint smile appeared in the sapphire eyes, and she spoke in the language of Astrana, saying gently, "But you still chase the sun."

Zhu Ri disliked this tone that sounded so familiar. The way the other person looked at her was almost identical to how an apprentice would look at her, but the person in front of her wasn't her apprentice. She didn't have that much patience. The dagger between her fingers twirled impatiently, and the elf went straight to the point: "So who are you?"

“Ze Lan Wildfire, Dawn Wildfire, Undead Wildfire, people call me all sorts of things, but I prefer to hear people just call me Wildfire.” Wildfire gave her answer in a good-natured manner, and then began to observe her surroundings. She didn’t seem to think that the Sun Chasing in front of her was the Sun Chasing she wanted.

She took a few steps, casually tapping her scepter on the ground, as if she had stopped to rest after a long walk in a bustling city. She would occasionally look down to study the clock face at her feet. It was then that everyone realized that no matter which angle they looked from, they could not see her left eye.

Her answer caused a stir among the players. Everyone present thought of the phrase "trimming the redundant timelines." Was the wildfire in front of them another timeline of drinking and singing?

"Teacher, it's your turn to answer me." Even though the world before him, Chasing the Sun, didn't belong to his own timeline, Wildfire's tone towards Chasing the Sun still conveyed respect and affection. "Which world does this Song Seeking belong to?"

She asked with certainty, clearly knowing something about the timeline.

“She’s the one who decides, the one who carries the wine,” Zhu Ri replied.

"Carrying wine," Wildfire murmured. "Teacher was right. It really is possible to carry wine while seeking songs."

At this point, she seemed to have asked about all the pasts that interested her. She no longer dwelled on the storyline of "Wine and Song". The most interesting thing about Chaotic Star Sea is that you can tell a player's life from their name.

Just like no one here asked her such a stupid and unnecessary question as "How did you become Dawnfire?"

Wildfire, in a good mood, asked about the present moment, "Who among you temporarily disrupted the timeline? What did the teacher just do?"

Zhu Ri disliked this pattern of obediently answering questions, even though the other person was gentle and polite, much more obedient than her own apprentice. But since it concerned her apprentice, she patiently answered, "I used some kind of ability to help her comprehend the divine talent word."
