Chapter Thirty-One

Chapter Thirty-One

"Huo Yuzheng... Huo Yuzheng..."

Mo Wansheng was so drunk that she was incoherent, and she kept calling out Huo Yuzheng's name.

He bent down, wanting to pull the blanket up for her.

With a forceful movement, Mo Wansheng hooked her hand directly around Huo Yuzheng's neck tie.

"Mr. Huo, isn't this tie I gave you nice?"

Huo Yuzheng gently squeezed her hand, trying to move it away.

Unexpectedly, Mo Wansheng's grip tightened instead of loosening, pulling him closer to her face.

Their noses had already touched.

"Stop fooling around."

Mo Wansheng slightly opened her eyes and stared straight at Huo Yuzheng, who was standing close to her.

She pressed her advantage, saying, "Mr. Huo, I'm not making a scene, just tell me if it looks good or not."

Huo Yuzheng had no choice but to compromise: "It looks good."

A triumphant smile spread across her eyes.

"Mr. Huo, do you know?"

Then his other hand moved restlessly to the corner of Huo Yuzheng's eye.

My fingertips traced the spot where the beauty mark was, lingering there, lightly touching it a few times like a dragonfly skimming the water.

She said something nonsensical, "Your beauty mark under your eye is especially beautiful."

Huo Yuzheng raised his hand and grabbed her wrist, which was wandering around and making him angry.

"Mrs. Huo, you're talking a bit too much."

Mo Wansheng snorted lightly, "Mr. Huo, I think it's clearly you who's incapable."

Her words ignited the fire in Huo Yuzheng's chest.

Before she could react, she uttered, "Mmm."

A passionate kiss enveloped her lips completely.

Like a storm, it battered her world.

It is largely due to the primal, untamed instincts of the body.

She wanted to take a bite.

She did it subconsciously.

The slightly bleeding lips emitted a faint smell of blood.

Huo Yuzheng grunted and released the restless beast in his arms.

Mo Wansheng slightly turned her head to the side, opened her eyes wide, and in her blurred vision, she saw Huo Yuzheng's blood-stained lips.

For a moment, she was hesitant to acknowledge the masterpiece she had created.

Feeling guilty, she quickly closed her eyes, her thick eyelashes trembling, and began to hum and pretend to be asleep.

How could Huo Yuzheng let this fox who wanted to get away with it get away with it?

He leaned down, but didn't touch her immediately.

He wiped away the blood droplets seeping from his lips with his fingertips, the bright red stain spreading across his fingertips.

Then, he pressed his blood-stained finger against Mo Wansheng's closed lips.

The smell of blood flooded her senses again.

Huo Yuzheng teased, "You've bitten someone, and now you're pretending to be asleep?"

Mo Wansheng reached out and pushed the finger away, opening her watery eyes and protesting, "I didn't, I didn't mean to."

"Accidentally?" Huo Yuzheng chuckled, his forehead touching hers, his deep voice lingering in her ear.

"Mrs. Huo, was it really an accident, or did you do it on purpose?"

His breath brushed against her stray hairs, causing a slight tremor in her body.

Huo Yuzheng's lips brushed lightly against her earlobe, making her feel itchy.

Mo Wansheng's blood was surging, ready to burst forth at any moment.

"It seems you need some time to come up with a better reason."

Before she could finish speaking, Huo Yuzheng turned his head and his warm lips covered her sensitive earlobe.

Mo Wansheng trembled, instinctively wanting to dodge and pull herself away.

However, Huo Yuzheng had already anticipated this move. He restrained her waist and locked her tightly in his arms, completely blocking her from escaping.

Thoughts are viscous, slow, and I am lost in a glass of fine wine.

Mo Wansheng's brain, filled with alcohol, was completely intoxicated, and the lingering warmth of Huo Yuzheng's touch still remained on her earlobe.

A savage force, a desire to retaliate, erupted.

She tilted her head back, a fierce glint flashing in her hazy eyes, and bit down on Huo Yuzheng's collarbone.

It wasn't a light peck, but rather a forceful, almost reckless one.

They left their mark on that territory.

A muffled groan escaped Huo Yuzheng's throat as he softly called out, "Mo Wansheng..."

She buried her face in the crook of his neck, admiring her masterpiece.

Mo Wansheng met his eyes and started talking nonsense again, "Huo Yuzheng, I think..."

"I think you might not be up to the task. You've been married for three months already."

Before she could say anything more, Huo Yuzheng sealed her silence with a kiss.

His kiss began on her swollen, red lips.

Heading downwards.

The scorching marks were imprinted on her body.

Neck, throat...

He left a hidden crimson mark everywhere.

Finally, he stopped at his collarbone.

Their heaving chests pressed tightly together, their unsteady breaths mingling and intertwining.

He could feel her surging blood telling a story.

He knew that if he went just a little bit further, his reason would be completely destroyed.

He took a deep breath, closed his eyes tightly, and moved his body away.

The sudden increase in distance allowed air to rush in, causing Mo Wansheng to tremble slightly.

She opened her eyes blankly and saw that his arms, which were supporting her on either side of her body, were taut.

His black hair fell down, concealing all the emotions churning in his eyes.

Huo Yuzheng got up and reached out to tidy her slightly messy hair, as if he were coaxing her to sleep.

Mo Wansheng was already dazed, and with the effects of alcohol, her heavy eyelids finally closed.

Without thinking too much, I drifted off to sleep.

Her breathing eventually returned to a steady rhythm, rising and falling.

Huo Yuzheng sighed, pulled the blanket up for her, and went into the bathroom.

...

The cell phone rang.

Mo Wansheng jumped out of bed as if she had risen from the dead.

The hangover was still lingering, and my head still ached a bit.

She slapped her head hard, trying to reboot her brain.

She then put on her slippers and went to the bathroom to get ready.

The mirror revealed her completely.

Looking at the red mark on her neck and collarbone, she instantly stopped holding the toothbrush.

Consciousness pieced itself together little by little, eventually forming a complete puzzle.

She didn't come to her senses until the foam was about to overflow from her mouth.

Embarrassed and annoyed.

Mo Wansheng splashed water on her cheeks several times, staring blankly at herself in the mirror, as if trying to confirm something.

But she eventually realized that it wasn't a dream.

Looking in the mirror, she tried to carefully wipe away the terrible hickeys with a warm towel.

However, it only makes these marks a little deeper.

There is no way to remove them.

She had no choice but to give up.

Finally, he picked out a long-necked sweater from the closet before slowly walking out of the room.

Huo Yuzheng was sitting in the restaurant waiting for her to come and have dinner together.

As soon as Mo Wansheng caught a glimpse of him, she quickly lowered her head.

She kept her eyes glued to her slippers.

Because she lacked confidence, the sight of him reminded her of how she had bitten him like a wild beast the night before.

She dared not look at him, for fear of seeing her horrifying masterpiece.

Mo Wansheng deliberately chose a seat furthest away from him to sit down.

She maintained a steady gaze, almost burying her entire face in the glass of milk in front of her.

The restaurant fell silent, with only the occasional clinking of knives and forks against plates.

Mo Wansheng's eating movements became much slower.

Huo Yuzheng: "Not to your liking?"

Mo Wansheng's hand trembled.

With a clang, the fork hit the porcelain plate.

"No!" she immediately retorted, then haphazardly poked at the fried eggs on her plate with her fork.

"As long as it suits your taste."

Huo Yuzheng asked casually, "Mrs. Huo, did you sleep well last night?"

Mo Wansheng was taken aback, her face flushed with anger, when she met Huo Yuzheng's teasing gaze.

"You rested very well!"

As soon as she finished her stubborn words, her gaze couldn't help but drift downwards.

The faint teeth marks on her collarbone were clearly exposed.

Mo Wansheng's face flushed red; it was obvious he was doing it on purpose.

The shirt wasn't even fully buttoned, leaving the marks exposed.

She turned her face away, avoiding the conspicuous "evidence," and pretended to be calm, saying, "Mr. Huo, you should wear your clothes properly."

Huo Yuzheng chuckled, "Thank you for the reminder, Mrs. Huo."

The thank you sounded more like a sarcastic remark; he made no attempt to button up his shirt.

That day, he went straight to the company.

The bite marks, half-hidden and half-concealed, were thus openly displayed to the public.

The sharp-eyed employees even thought they were dreaming and had gone blind.

When his assistant, Lin Hexuan, delivered the materials, he was stunned.

It wasn't until Huo Yuzheng reminded him, "What's wrong?"

He then realized what was happening and quickly tidied up the documents in his arms and placed them on the desk.

During the lunch break.

After finishing processing the documents, Huo Yuzheng looked up at the clouds on the horizon.

Suddenly remembering something, I raised my phone, found a subtle angle, and took my first selfie.

The camera precisely captured the faint bite mark on his collarbone.

Lu Yizhi has been sending him messages since last night.

They inquired about his progress with Mo Wansheng.

Huo Yuzheng thought, "Perfect."

He tapped his finger lightly, without adding any text, and sent the photo to Lu Yizhi.

The bombs started exploding in a chain reaction again.

"?"

"??????"

"No, bro, can't you say something?"

What do you mean by that?

"Wow, my sister-in-law is so wild!"

...

Huo Yuzheng looked down at the messages popping up on the screen, but he still didn't reply with a single word.

He then sent the photo to Mo Wansheng, but after a while, there was no response.

Lu Yizhi, on the other hand, kept rambling on and on, so he silenced his phone and placed it face down on his desk.

He bent down and took out the backup machine.

The same noise.

Messages kept coming in, all from "Shengzhuzi".

Mo Wansheng was in no mood to work all morning, her mind filled with the absurdity of last night.

Finally, unable to bear it any longer, she pulled out her alternate account and sent a series of complaints to "Blueberry Cake".

"I'm speechless. How can anyone be so shameless as to parade around with hickeys like that?"

"I clearly didn't do it on purpose, and besides, it's perfectly normal at that time!"

"No, he even posted a selfie, he took it on purpose, seriously, I'm about to have a breakdown."

"What exactly does he mean? Does he mean I was born in the Year of the Dog?"

Have you ever experienced this? I'm so frustrated I could barely keep my feet off the ground. (I'm rolling around on the floor like this.)

...

Seeing the indignant messages, Huo Yuzheng laughed out loud.

He carefully considered what to reply.
