Finally, I couldn't help it and went out. I saw Mo Wennian still busy in the kitchen, apparently frying meat.
The meat dishes are cooked last, except for the cumin beef and tomato and egg soup.
"Do you need any help?"
Now that Meng Chen has come out, it would be embarrassing to just sit there and wait for dinner.
Mo Wennian looked at the pot, afraid that the meat would be overcooked.
"Take the dishes out first. Don't touch the rice and egg custard yet. They're a little hot. I'll serve them later."
Mo Wennian sprinkled some cumin and stir-fried it again.
After Meng Chen brought out the dishes, Mo Wennian also prepared the cumin beef, put it on a plate, washed the pot, and would make tomato and egg soup later.
Meng Chen brought the cumin beef to the dining table, and Mo Wennian followed behind with rice. He put the rice on the table and subconsciously pinched his earlobe with his hand.
Meng Chen went to the kitchen and got two bowls to share the rice with them. After Mo Wennian felt that the food was not so hot anymore, he went to get some egg custard.
The things were put away, and Meng Chen had also distributed the food. He sat at his seat, looking at Mo Wennian with sparkling eyes, hoping that he could eat.
When Mo Wennian looked into Meng Chen's eyes, he felt like a proud puppy. He clearly wanted to eat, but couldn't help but wait for his owner's consent.
"If you're hungry, eat first. I need to make some soup. You'll choke if you eat rice dry."
Mo Wennian no longer looked into his eyes, fearing that he would lose control and want to pinch him.
There weren't many tomatoes left, so I simply cut them up and the soup was made quickly. I had already boiled the water in advance, so it only took a few minutes.
When she brought a small pot of tomato and egg soup, she saw Meng Chen looking at the food on the table and swallowing his saliva, but he didn't eat it.
Mo Wennian felt soft-hearted when he saw this.
"Eat, I'll get two more bowls for soup."
Meng Chen went to the kitchen before her, got two bowls and put them on the table.
"Let's eat."
