Then, in order to verify whether these mushrooms were poisonous or not, Meng Jing didn't even go home. Wearing only his underwear, he got on Wu Erxiao's motorcycle and sped all the way to his brother's restaurant.
The restaurant was so busy that Wu Erxiao's brother couldn't find the time to come and see them.
Seeing this, Wu Erxiao simply found a pot in the back kitchen and, together with Meng Jing, prepared the fish and mushrooms.
I put the fish and mushrooms in a pot, added seasonings, and simmered it. I must say, it smelled incredibly delicious!
Both of them thought the mushroom was a good idea, and even Wu Erxiao's doubts were dispelled.
Since neither of them had eaten lunch, the smell of the fish soup made them instantly hungry.
After the soup was cooked, the two of them divided it among themselves and used it to feed their hungry internal organs.
They were so happy that they even burped. Wu Erxiao was about to discuss with Meng Jing whether they should go up the mountain to pick some more mushrooms later.
Before he could even speak, the leftover fish head on the table started talking, demanding, "Was it tasty?! Was my flesh tasty?! You shameless filthy thing! You ate my flesh, and you even sucked my eyes out!"
"Oh my god!"
Wu Erxiao was startled and immediately jumped up from the stool with a scream.
Meng Jing frowned, about to call him a lunatic. Why was he making such a fuss?
Then, noticing the large cabbage beside him, he said irritably, "Holy crap! What is this idiot doing?! Shouting so loudly, he scared the hell out of me!"
Immediately, two words popped into his mind: It's over!
I'm fucking poisoned!
