Chang Lili picked up the knife from the ground and slashed at the assassin who lunged at her. The assassin dodged, and another person saw an opportunity and slashed at Chang Lili's back with his blade. Meng Yuxiu quickly cut off the man's wrist.
"Useless trash!" the prefect roared, cursing angrily, "That man ordered that the woman be kept here and not to be harmed!"
Those who have been poisoned by the muscle-weakening powder suffer even more from the backlash the more they struggle. Although Meng Yuxiu repelled the enemy, he almost lost his grip on the cold sword. He said, "This is an opportunity, Chang Lili, don't be willful! Get out of here!"
Although she didn't know whose orders the prefect was following, since he wasn't going to kill her, then... Chang Lili's gaze hardened, and she used herself as a shield to protect Meng Yuxiu.

Just then, a sharp whip wrapped around the assassin's neck, dragged him backward, and slammed him against the wall. The woman in black robes rushed into the courtyard, followed by two other women who grabbed Chang Lili's shoulders and took her away.
Chang Lili struggled: "Meng Yuxiu!"
The woman in the lead snorted, grabbed Meng Yuxiu by the shoulder, and dragged him out with her.
