The train is very noisy.
Xu Shiqing woke up to a continuous shaking, feeling dizzy as if he was swaying in a boat.
He climbed out of the soft quilt and took a breath, and could still smell a hint of smoke.
Smells bad.
"Hey! We're in Jichuan County! It's time to get up!"
The flight attendant came over and woke everyone up one by one. When he came to Xu Shiqing, he seemed stunned. He didn't expect that the young man who had been sleeping so hard for the past few days was so handsome. His tone became lighter: "We have arrived at Jichuan County. Pack your luggage and prepare to get off the train."
Xu Shiqing nodded and said, "I see. Thank you."
His pronunciation is very standard and I can't tell where he is from, but his voice is very gentle and a little cold. You can tell he is a cultured person just by listening to him.
Maybe he is an educated young man.
The attendant was a little frightened for some reason. He nodded, made sure everyone here had heard it, and then walked to the next car.
"We've arrived at Jichuan County!" His voice came from afar.
Xu Shiqing rubbed his forehead. He was a little confused about coming to an unfamiliar place suddenly. He subconsciously searched his brain, but it was blank. Only fragments of memory were left. He tried hard to sort it out and barely understood what his current situation was.
His name is Xu Shiqing. He comes from a family in Beijing. His father is an intellectual and a teacher at a university. His mother is a businesswoman and runs a factory. His family is wealthy and he is well-educated. He is currently running away from home.
Xu Shiqing: “…”
He felt a wave of suffocation when he thought of the location of Jichuan County in his memory. In ancient times, this would have been exiled to Lingnan! He could only imagine how far he had run! His only consolation was that he had left a small note before leaving, saying he was returning to his hometown, so his parents didn't worry.
His hometown is Xujia Village in Jichuan County. The old house of Xu Shiqing's family was originally inhabited by his grandparents, but the two elders became ill two years ago and were taken to Kyoto. Now it is his uncle's family who lives there.
This time Xu Shiqing ran away from home and planned to stay with them for a while.
But he didn't have time to care about this now. He just stared at the characters in front of him with a cold face, looking at the bed with doubt, wondering if he was crazy or seeing ghosts.
"Task
1. Discover your true origins
2. Find out the culprit behind the strange happenings in the village
3. Fulfill Xu Shiqing's last wish
Xu Shiqing stared at Task Three, feeling a chill down his spine.
He now feels very strange about the memories in his mind, as if before he was Xu Shiqing of this world, he was another person.
It can't be that he has been resurrected by a ghost, right?
He thought with a wry smile, picked up his suitcase and prepared to get off the car.
Now his memory is incomplete and he is confused about the current situation. It is better for him to just go with the flow... Moreover, Xu Shiqing suspects that his situation is related to these three strange tasks.
The inexplicable sense of familiarity in his heart, and the premonition that he must complete them or he would regret it, made Xu Shiqing feel that these three tasks could not be ignored.
What if it’s related to other missing memories?
He stood at the station, lost in thought. He was wearing a well-tailored suit, with a slim waist and long legs, black eyebrows and hair, and fair skin. In the shadows, his face looked incredibly expensive.
He doesn't look like the type of person who would be standing here. He should be in a luxurious ballroom.
As soon as Xie Chongyue walked into the station, he saw his cousin standing out in the crowd. He was carrying a suitcase, with a blue scarf around his neck, and was looking at a map in the station with his back to him.
Just by looking at his back, you can tell he is an intellectual.
He felt less resentful about being rushed here to pick someone up early in the morning, and instead had a strange feeling in his heart. This educated young man with thin arms and legs might not even be able to lift a bucket of water.
"Hello, are you Xu Shiqing?"
The young man turned around subconsciously when his name was called suddenly. The thought on his face had not yet faded, and his face was pale and looked somewhat innocent.
Xie Chongyue's heart skipped a beat. He reached out and wiped his sweaty hands from his lapel. Without thinking too much, he continued to ask, "Are you Xu Hanqiu's son?"
That was Xu Shiqing's father's name.
"Yes, it's me." This time Xu Shiqing turned around completely and faced Xie Chongyue.
He also has a very standard and clear pronunciation. Not only does his appearance and clothing fit in with the area, but even his way of speaking is different from that of the local area.
Xie Chongyue raised his eyebrows slightly. He was tall and strong, with big hands and long feet. He was a rare giant in the south. Anyone who stood next to him would feel a sense of oppression.
Fortunately, his face completely inherited the advantages of his mother, with deep eyes, a high nose, and the color of the corners of his eyes is very dark, as if they were drawn with a black pen.
So even though the Xu family didn't have a very good reputation, there were still many people coming to propose marriage. It was a pity that Xie Chongyue didn't seem to like any of the girls.
"Your parents sent a telegram and had the news delivered to my father." The implication is that you ran away from home and our whole family knows about it.
Xu Shiqing pursed his lips. No matter what, he had to stay here. At least he had to know what the mission in front of him was like. "Sorry, I will pay for the expenses here."
He took a lot of money with him, which should be enough to last him for several months.
Xie Chongyue looked at him. The two of them had already walked out of the station and were heading towards the market. "Money is easy to talk about. We are family after all. We can afford to pay for a meal. You'll have to take care of the rest yourself."
The man's tone of voice rose slightly, giving off a lazy and relaxed vibe.
"...Okay." Xu Shiqing said.
He then fell silent again, his eyes lowered, and no one knew what he was thinking. Xie Chongyue glanced at him from the corner of his eye, and when he saw that he was about to bump into someone else, he reached out and put his arm around his shoulders, pulling him aside.
