Chapter 2 White Mist

Of all the white fog rule types, the least popular is probably the role-playing decryption type.

Compared to the adventure-type rules that only require brute force to defeat monsters, the process of playing puzzle-type games is tedious and boring, the rules are strange, and most importantly, the loot is hard to come by.

Not everyone has the luxury of solving puzzles while simultaneously searching for treasure. Most people are accustomed to the violent "kill and steal" model, which is difficult to implement within the rules of role-playing puzzle games.

Ultimately, power is everything in the white fog.

Xu Shiqing drew his knife to wipe the blood, lowered his eyes to think for a moment, and walked in one direction.

The boundless chill spread and extended, as if trying to freeze the air.

[We don't have much time left] 021 said [The monsters here aren't very strong, but there are too many of them]

My suggestion is to break the rules and clear the entire white fog.

Then destroy it in one fell swoop.

The different rules within the white fog are like small rooms, and the white fog is the tall building formed by these small rooms. When people enter a certain rule and pass it, they will receive the key to the room and the door to the building. After leaving the building, the room disappears.

The mission of the Abnormal Management Bureau is to eliminate these rules, blow up the entire building, and make the white fog disappear.

After all, previous experience had shown that those who failed and were devoured became new monsters, giving rise to new rules. No one knew what kind of disaster the White Mist would eventually become if left unchecked and allowed to expand.

This is a race against time between the white fog and humans.

Role-playing decryption games are the most time-consuming.

Xu Shiqing didn't have the patience to crack them one by one. Who knew how many answers there were? The others did the same, using a simple and crude approach: seize the core, kill, and then move on to the next one.

This is also why the personnel for this operation are mainly Dragon Team 1, rather than Dragon Team 2, which is good at deciphering and solving cases.

"So strong, so fast, so cool"

"Xiao Huang was chased around by the boss, but these guys were just chopping melons and vegetables..."

"If ordinary people enter this white fog without preparation, they will be killed. If they are killed, they will increase the health of the enemy. No wonder China generously dispatched Dragon Team 1 and Team 2 as soon as they heard the news."

"Move the barrage farther away." Xu Shiqing frowned at the floating barrage. Not only did it block his vision, it also distracted him.

This is a serious fight.

021 threw it into the corner skillfully. He secretly wondered whether he should report the unreasonable function of the barrage to his superiors. Although this thing can allow the host to grasp the situation at all times, it is indeed very troublesome.

Xu Shiqing was killing people indiscriminately. In the comics, he was drawn as a fairy covered in blood. In contrast, Xie Jingyi was covered in black air, gloomy and weird. They were two extremes.

021 took a look at the comments and found that both sides were saying how handsome and beautiful they were, and some were even starting to ship them again.

He silently filtered out those who were supporting the couple. Xu Shiqing was really annoyed with Xie Jingyi and was probably going to get furious after seeing these comments.

Huang Shaoxing obeyed the police uncle's instructions and vowed never to leave the team when climbing a mountain again.

"Da Huang! I'm so glad you're okay!" There were screams of ghosts and wolves in the dormitory, and several roommates cried for joy.

"I almost wanted to burn incense for you!"

"Get out! Go to hell!" Huang Shaoxing cursed with a smile.

The dormitory leader was calm and composed. After confirming that he was fine and had been successfully rescued by the police, he instructed him, "It's good that you're okay. Let us know when you come back and we'll come pick you up."

"Goodbye, I'm safe now." Huang Shaoxing said, "Didn't you all buy tickets to go back? Don't delay me. It's okay here, it's not like we won't see each other again."

"Aren't you worried that our Dahuang will be lonely without me, his father?" The roommate started to act mean.

"Get lost!" Huang Shaoxing replied succinctly and forcefully, "Take him away and behead him!"

Dormitory leader: "Then you should have a good rest. If you need any help, please let us know. Cell phone...is it convenient for you to contact us now?"

"My parents bought me a new one!" Huang Shaoxing replied: "Okay, brother, don't worry, I have the police here! I can log in to WeChat too."

Dormitory leader: "Okay, I'll hang up then."

"Hey, wait."

Beep.

"He hung up so decisively." Huang Shaoxing muttered.

He sat in the back of the armored vehicle, looking at the white fog that enveloped the entire mountain. The night was dark, but the fog was still thick, like some kind of foaming shower gel, soft and fluffy, but creepy.

It was surging, wriggling like a worm, clinging to the mountain as if rubbing against it.

Huang Shaoxing subconsciously clutched the small blanket on his legs, feeling as if countless pairs of eyes were looking at him, and a sense of uneasiness came over him.

At this time, eight hours had passed since Xu Shiqing and his companions entered the white fog. Huang Shaoxing escaped from the white fog at one o'clock in the afternoon, and it was now almost eleven o'clock in the evening.

There was no sign of the white fog dissipating.

The cordons arranged around the mountain showed no sign of being removed. Traffic police stopped everyone who tried to enter the mountain. The second team of the Dragon Group and the Phoenix Group's still-mobile psychics circled the mountain to guard, stopping some overly curious people and alerting them to possible unusual movements of the white fog.

At two o'clock in the morning, Huang Shaoxing would hold the hot water, take a sip and glance at the white mist, or jump out of the car and go to chat and build relationships with the psychics who were stationed here.

Huh—huh—

A cold wind came from somewhere and hit my body.

Huang Shaoxing's hair stood on end, and the psychic who was talking next to him quickly pulled the person back.

Boom——

The sound was like thunder, like the roar of a dragon with its head held high in the sky.
