Chapter 2 White Mist

Over the past few years, the whereabouts of the white fog have become increasingly unpredictable. According to maps, it is in various remote areas and slowly moving towards densely populated areas in the east, usually in sparsely populated areas.

But even if the Abnormal Management Bureau arrived quickly, there would still be some people with extraordinary powers who had entered the white fog and were not discovered by them. What's worse is that the authorities discovered that these extraordinary powers can be inherited and will not dissipate with the death of the owner.

Over the years, the number of people secretly possessing strange and bizarre extraordinary powers has increased year by year. Those who have no bad intentions are fine. They regularly accept visits and investigations from the Abnormal Management Bureau, report their own positioning on time every month, eat and drink as they should, and be a qualified citizen.

Some individuals with bad intentions have formed gangs, colluded with officials and businessmen, and even traded with foreign forces, engaging in smuggling and drug trafficking. Some even use their power to instigate crime and commit murder.

These are all destabilizing factors for social security.

Chen Siwei didn't stay long; he went to see the injured children. Xu Shiqing's surgery lasted two critical illness notices. When it was finally over, the surgeon left with a look of relief on his face. Before leaving, he said to Xie Jingyi, "Keep an eye on that idiot in there. Don't think he's alright just because he can move. Doesn't he know how fragile he is? Why would a mage mess with a warrior!"

Xie Jingyi's IV drip had been changed twice, and by then his injuries had healed. With a ghost cultivator's physique, he should be almost fully recovered after two days of rest.

"Doctor Cui, when will he wake up?" he asked, his eyes dark - from staying up late.

A well-shaped character seemed to appear on Cui Song’s forehead.

"Just finished surgery!" He was utterly devastated by the fact that all the Abnormal Management Bureau personnel were asked this question right after surgery. "What kind of animal could wake up so quickly?!"

Damn, this group of people with special abilities are torturing themselves. Every time they meet, they have to go through surgery starting with a critical illness notice. Don’t they have any idea when they will wake up?

Life is miserable, so annoying.JPG.

Xie Jingyi felt his forehead buzzing, he was in pain and he was devastated!

Whoever wants to write this crappy report can do so!

"Things can't wait for anyone," Xie Jingyi regretted a little why he was so desperate to do this job. Wouldn't it be better to go home and patrol the mountains?

"Tell me when he wakes up so I can handle things more easily." He said finally.

"...Normally, don't even think about waking up for 36 hours." Cui Song said indifferently, "But that pervert in there will probably be getting out of bed soon. Anesthesia won't be of any use to him."

The doctor left him and walked away quickly.

"...This guy is so annoying." Xie Jingyi touched his nose, feeling a little complicated.

Doctor Cui Song is quite famous in the bureau, not only because he has saved many people, but also because he is a possessor of extraordinary powers related to treatment.

He often runs around because of the injured members of the Abnormal Management Bureau, and seems to have a lot of dissatisfaction with them. But his attitude towards Xu Shiqing is not just ordinary dissatisfaction. This must be a grudge.
