Just as Wang Xiaoxia was sitting dejectedly in the overgrown cell, a white figure suddenly appeared at the cell door. She looked up and saw that it was Bai Ze. Startled, she quickly got up, ran to the door, grabbed the bars with both hands, and smiled obsequiously.

Unable to escape or fight back, they had no choice but to resort to a honey trap.

"Bai~" Wang Xiaoxia grinned and was about to call out to him, but was stopped by Bai Ze's fierce gaze. Then she saw that his black hair was completely different from yesterday's. Remembering that Bai Ze was an ancient demon beast who rarely showed his true appearance to the world, she had no choice but to change her words immediately.

"Mao~" doesn't seem right either.

“Floating on green water, red palms stir clear waves,” Wang Xiaoxia stammered.

She was still gripping the railing, a fawning smile on her face, her mouth practically stretched to her ears.

His smile was so fake that it looked like he was crying, making him look wronged and pathetic.

Bai Ze remained silent, but the ferocity in his eyes lessened, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up slightly.

"You may leave! I have something to say to this mortal," Bai Ze said, turning his head to the jailer behind him.

How could the jailer dare disobey! He couldn't wait to leave! After all, the demon prince's bloodthirsty reputation was already well-known in the ghost realm.

"Please take your time talking. He's just a mortal; you can kill him or torture him as you please," the jailer replied immediately, then with a fawning smile, he left.

Upon hearing the jailer's words, Wang Xiaoxia's smile froze instantly. The air seemed to thin out, and he suddenly felt as if he had gone from a minor offender to a death row inmate.

Bai Ze didn't take it seriously. With just a wave of his hand, the lock on the cell broke, and he easily entered the cell without even getting his hands dirty.

Wang Xiaoxia immediately let go and couldn't help but back away, retreating back into the clump of weeds behind her, as if this was her home.

"You really love reciting poetry, huh?" Bai Ze said in a menacing voice as he slowly approached Wang Xiaoxia.

“Ah, you love learning,” Wang Xiaoxia said, curling up on the ground, not daring to look him in the eye. She looked around nervously, trying to find a relatively safe place.

"I also love to draw," Bai Ze said, stopping in front of Wang Xiaoxia. His imposing figure made Wang Xiaoxia feel breathless.

Wang Xiaoxia immediately understood Bai Ze's purpose in coming here; it was for the painting.

"I only paint occasionally, it's hardly worthy of serious attention," Wang Xiaoxia said, raising his head with a fawning, fake smile.

She was terrified! It's over! The debt collectors have come; the painting hasn't even been sold yet, and they're already here! A chilling murderous aura ran down her spine, making her shudder.

"Give it to me," Bai Ze commanded coldly, leaving no room for argument.

Then a slender hand stopped in front of Wang Xiaoxia.

"What does the master want?" Wang Xiaoxia had no choice but to ask, feigning ignorance.

After all, not seeing the painting was one outcome, not seeing the whole thing was another, but what would happen if he had actually seen it and seen the whole thing? The more Wang Xiaoxia thought about it, the more uneasy he became.

"Give it to me!" Bai Ze commanded once again, with an unyielding force that brooked no resistance.

Wang Xiaoxia looked up at him, and their eyes met. Bai Ze's cold face and fierce eyes commanded her: Take it out.

Wang Xiaoxia had no choice but to obediently hand over the other half of the painting that was hidden in her sleeve. Not only the torn one, but also the other intact paintings were taken out as well.

Faced with absolute power, one can no longer hide one's little schemes.

Bai Ze reached out and took the painting, carefully unfolding the crumpled paper one by one. The image of the white-haired boy, completely absorbed in the painting, immediately captured his gaze. Shame and anger erupted simultaneously. With a single squeeze, he burned the already crumpled paper to ashes. Wang Xiaoxia realized something was wrong and hurriedly got up to back away, but he grabbed her clothes and lifted her up like a chicken.

"Ah! Your Honor, have mercy! I am already carrying your child!" Wang Xiaoxia cried out in terror, his voice so loud that the entire prison cell could probably hear him.

"Shut up!" Bai Ze roared, increasing the pressure on his hand.

"Ah! I'm pregnant! I'm carrying your child! It's only right for a gentleman to pull up his pants and leave! Ah! My child! My child! Your child! Your child!" Wang Xiaoxia shouted incoherently with her eyes closed, not listening to anything Bai Ze was saying.

Bai Ze was so angry that his face turned green. When he turned around again, the prisoners in the other cells all stuck their heads out to look in this direction. Even the jailer guarding the door peeked out and cautiously watched the commotion.

Now, the news of the dignified demon prince's affair with a mortal woman will probably spread throughout the Ghost Realm. No matter how powerful Bai Ze is, he can't just go on a killing spree in the Ghost Realm.

"Shut up!" Bai Ze roared, throwing Wang Xiaoxia to the ground like trash. His face turned red and white with anger, and green light emanated from the top of his head.

Wang Xiaoxia was thrown heavily to the ground, got up, curled up in a corner, and looked at Bai Ze timidly.

If she weren't immortal, she would have been killed by this fall, her internal organs shattered!

"We, we only, only yesterday, how could you have a child!" Bai Ze stammered angrily, his voice low as his chest heaved with rage.

"I get pregnant quickly, and besides, if a man and a woman are together, then they'll have a child," Wang Xiaoxia argued, her eyes wide. Since she was going to die anyway, she might as well die a quick death. Thinking this way, she wasn't afraid anymore.

Her reckless behavior almost made Bai Ze laugh in exasperation! He wanted to see how this little mortal could possibly argue.

"Then I'll cut open your stomach right now, and I want to see what's inside!" Bai Ze threatened, approaching step by step, scaring Wang Xiaoxia so much that she didn't dare to open her eyes.

"Ah! Murder your own child! You beast! You slept with me and then killed me, you're not human! You're so heartless! You couldn't control yourself and had an affair with me! You've taken my chastity! Ah! My innocence! You don't even dare to acknowledge your own child! You have a mole on your butt! Ah!" Wang Xiaoxia shouted out all the words she could think of with her eyes tightly closed.

Suddenly a large hand covered her mouth, and she bit it without saying a word, startling her so much that she started hitting it wildly.

"Shh! Shut up! Ah! Open your mouth! Ah! You mortal! Open your mouth!" Bai Ze shouted angrily, his hand being bitten painfully by Wang Xiaoxia.

He originally came to kill her, but her outburst made him both angry and amused. He also thought that if he really killed her after she shouted like that, it would give others something to talk about, since this woman had the blood of the ghost race. It would be bad if it caused a rift between the demon race and the ghost race.

Seeing that Bai Ze didn't really intend to kill her, Wang Xiaoxia finally let go of his grip. She remained huddled in the corner, staring at Bai Ze like a frightened cat, as if ready to attack at any moment.

"Since you say you're carrying my bloodline, then come with me!" Bai Ze had no choice but to speak coldly. He shook his bitten hand, which was not injured, only left with a row of bluish teeth marks.

Wang Xiaoxia hesitated. Who would go with him? The crime she had committed would only result in a few days in jail, and she could still have food and drink here. Going with him would just mean killing her in another place.

"Then go die now!" Bai Ze said, his face turning cold again when he saw Wang Xiaoxia hesitate.

"Let's go! I'm leaving right now!" Wang Xiaoxia was so frightened that he immediately stood up and followed Bai Ze quickly like a dog.

Strangely, Bai Ze did not take Wang Xiao to the Ghost King's Palace, nor did he take her back to the Demon Realm. Instead, he went to a house deep in the forest where they had met. This house was built by Bai Ze himself, and only an old servant served him.

After walking a few steps into this forest, the turbid air of the ghost realm disappeared, and it was quiet with few birds or beasts. It was probably all protected by a barrier placed by Bai Ze, so neither demons nor ghosts could enter. Apart from Wang Xiaoxia, who was half-human and half-ghost and stumbled upon this place by accident, no one else had ever been here.

The old servant was leisurely sitting on a recliner in the courtyard, holding a straw fan in his hand. On the stone table beside him was a cup of tea that hadn't been finished; the tea had gone cold, indicating that the old man had been asleep for some time. Although he was an old man, his hearing was very sharp. He opened his eyes a crack when he heard the noise, and seeing that it was Bai Ze returning, he quickly got up to greet him.

"Young master is back," the old servant said, his face full of wrinkles squeezed together by laughter, making the wrinkles look even deeper.

"Hmm, Old Jiang, I remember you know some medical skills. Help me take care of this woman for a few days," Bai Ze said to Old Jiang, deliberately raising his voice. His eyes unconsciously glanced at Wang Xiaoxia's position behind him, a faint smug smile appearing on his face. He quickly came back to his senses, his expression revealing exhaustion.

"A woman? Young master has never brought a woman here before. I'd like to see what kind of woman she is," Old Jiang said, craning his neck to look at Wang Xiaoxia hiding behind Bai Ze, with a meaningful smile.

Old Jiang has been by the young master's side for over a hundred years, but he has never heard the young master mention any woman. Today, not only did he mention her, but he also brought her home!

Wang Xiaoxia was still dressed as a man, but she had no ability to disguise herself or use magic, so even in men's clothing, she was easily recognized as a woman.

She kept her head down and avoided eye contact, feeling even more uneasy upon learning that Old Jiang knew some medical skills.

Bai Ze didn't care about Wang Xiaoxia's life or death. He casually sat down on the recliner, and as he lay down, his silver hair cascaded down. After the spell was lifted, his whole body went limp. He seemed very tired. He closed his eyes, and his long eyelashes were as thick as a small forest. In the daytime, his clothes looked very nice, white with a hint of blue.

Old Jiang took another step closer to Wang Xiaoxia, his eyes crinkling as he looked her up and down with a smile.

"You look like a ghost, what's your name?" Old Jiang asked Wang Xiaoxia.

Wang Xiaoxia remained uneasy, retreating until she reached the doorway where she had nowhere left to go. Then she straightened up and glared at Lao Jiang with wide eyes.

"Let me tell you, I'm carrying your young master's child! Don't be so unreasonable!" Wang Xiaoxia grabbed the low fence behind her, glaring at her and threateningly saying, looking as determined as if she were really pregnant.
