"Hello everyone! A new round of hand-to-hand combat is about to begin!"
The host stood on the podium outside the fighting cage and loudly announced the start of another fight.
The audience around burst into excited roars, they couldn't wait to see the blood splatter.
"Before the fight begins, let me introduce the two opponents."
"The red team in this melee is Malaka from the human race."
"This powerful veteran was once silent, but now he has entered the ranks of the fourth realm."
"He once had an impressive eight-game winning streak in the physical combat arena, but he took a short break due to personal training and hasn't participated in recent competitions."
"This fight is his first since returning to the competition. Will he fail or return to the top? Let's wait and see!"
The host spoke very quickly, and his excited shouting further stimulated the gamblers in the stands.
The sounds of betting and raising stakes came one after another, and the odds changed rapidly as funds poured in.
"Oh my god, it's really Malaca!" an old spectator shouted excitedly.
Someone nearby who had never seen Maraca play heard this and came over curiously to ask, "Is this guy awesome?"
The old spectator's desire to share immediately came up, and he said excitedly: "That's right! The punches are really powerful. In one match, he directly blew the opponent's head off!"
"Fuck! So strong? Okay, okay, I have to bet on him now."
The host glanced across the dimly lit auditorium, where many people still hadn't placed their bets.
He decided to add more fuel to the fire and take his performance to the next level.
"And the blue team in this duel is a newbie from the human race—Owl."
"Although this newcomer, who is at the early stage of the Third Realm, is participating for the first time, he is quite capable. His spiritual energy has surprisingly reached the standard of the Fourth Realm. Let us look forward to his performance!"
Lou Zisui is still in the early stage of the second realm, and he lied about his realm.
The ghoul possesses minute control over his body, allowing him to fake physical strength with the help of Rc cells.
His spiritual energy reserves already exceeded the third realm, and even reached the fifth realm before awakening, so he could naturally get away with it.
As the host made an ambiguous introduction, the amount of money in the gambling pool rose rapidly. The spectators thought they had seized the opportunity and began to bet on the red team.
"Oh! This newcomer must have been tricked by the dealer! How can someone in the early stages of the third realm fight a veteran with the strength of the fourth realm?"
"Having spiritual energy reserves at the fourth level doesn't mean you're actually at the fourth level. Please understand."
"This has crossed a great realm, and it's not a free point question? Boss, add another red bet!"
Others do the opposite and bet directly on the side with higher odds.
"Being able to play means he's at the same level. Who knows what kind of dark horse this new guy is!"
"With these odds, if we win, we'll make a killing! All in! Just all in!"
"Without further ado, let's invite the two combatants of this hand-to-hand combat match!"
At the host's command, Lou Zisui, dressed in black, jumped lightly into the cage.
He looked across at a shirtless middle-aged man who appeared at the same time. His burly figure and toned muscles drew cheers from the audience.
"Holy shit! His biceps are bigger than my head!"
"Dude, take my advice, bet on Malaka. I've seen his previous matches, he's incredibly fierce!"
"Betting on the one with the highest odds is boring! If you're going to gamble, of course you should bet on the one with the highest payouts!"
"Tsk! Why is this new guy being so secretive?"
"He's thin, so I guess he's a speed type."
"Malacca! Hit him on the head so I can see what he looks like!"
"The fight begins!"
"Go, go, go! I want to see a river of blood!"
Cheers erupted instantly as the fight began, shaking the iron bars of the cage so much that they trembled slightly.
The man named Malaka was not affected by anything outside the field.
His leg muscles suddenly exerted force and he took the lead in attacking the enemy opposite him. The hot fist wind instantly rushed to Lou Zisui.
Lou Zisui took a step to the left and just missed the fist. The oncoming airflow only slightly shook his hood.
Seeing that his attack failed, Malaka stopped his forward movement instantly and used the remaining momentum to swing his fist across.
This series of fluent movements was quite fast, and it could be seen from Lou Zisui that he was not the stereotypical power player that the host had described.
Not only is he good at defeating his enemies with force, he also has extremely fast speed.
Lou Zisui leaned back to avoid the incoming punch, and kicked upward, preparing to break one of his arms.
Malaka reacted immediately, striking out with his other hand to neutralize the kick while using the reaction force to quickly retreat and create distance.
Zi Sui used the momentum to do a backflip and landed on the ground, steadying himself and facing Malaka again.
The brief first exchange ended there. The atmosphere on both sides was tense, and both knew that this was just a minor test, and the real battle was just beginning.
"Oh my god, that was a quick exchange. Isn't Malaca said to be a power type?"
"Looks like Malaka hasn't been idle during the offseason."
"Fuck, how come this guy didn't even take off his hood during a backflip?"
"Stop joking, the fight is starting again!"
After a brief confrontation, the two sides quickly engaged in a fight again.
Malaka struck first again. This time, as if he had found a flaw, he struck with lightning speed, aiming for the enemy's vulnerable spot.
A punch filled with spiritual energy came like a python biting at him. Lou Zisui finally got interested and took the initiative to meet the enemy's attack.
He found that I was not very skilled in using psychic energy. Lou Zisui thought to himself while blocking the attack with his right arm.
