Chapter 90 Entering Shengtian

“Knock knock knock… knock knock knock…”

Zi Sui stood not far away, quietly watching Zhang Juncai knock on the side door of Shengtian Public School.

After a moment, Zi Sui tilted his head slightly, as if he heard some noise.

Immediately afterwards, the small window on the door suddenly opened.

Inside the small window, the guard asked bluntly, "What's your name? What are you doing here?"

He was obviously a little impatient.

On weekdays, guarding the side door is the easiest job. A whole day passes by just sitting in the guard room and fishing.

I don't know what happened today, but he put it in as soon as another one came.

He turned around and went back to the guard room. Before he could even get comfortable in his seat, two more people came.

"Ouch," Uncle Cai was startled by the small window that suddenly opened and shouted in a somewhat exaggerated manner.

"The sound insulation here is still so good, there's not even a sound of footsteps."

The guard ignored him and even pretended to close the small window.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't turn it off yet. My name is Zhang Juncai, and I'm here to take my relative's child to school."

"Here, the one standing in the back."

As he spoke, he took out a beautifully wrapped pack of cigarettes from somewhere and stuffed it in through the small window.

The doorman stepped aside a little, allowing the cigarette to fall into the window.

But he didn't pick it up immediately. Instead, he softened his tone and started asking routine questions.

"Do you have a certificate of enrollment?"

"Yes, yes, yes," Uncle Cai gestured for Zi Sui to show his pass, "Do you think you can get in?"

At the peak, the security guard would see nearly 5,000 matriculation certificates a day.

Therefore, he just took a glance and confirmed that the thing was real.

Although I was surprised by the remote location of Yuebaiting, the student's admission certificate was indeed real and it did state that the student's place of origin was Yuebaiting.

All I can say is that good seedlings are good seedlings no matter where they are.

This young man must be very talented and qualified.

But who cares? As long as he is a serious student of our school, he can bring someone in.

I got some cigarettes and bought a good one, so it’s not a loss.

He only earns a few dollars a month guarding the gate here, so there's no need for him to offend a Shengtian student.

Then, the door opened, and Zhang Juncai once again successfully entered Shengtian Public School by taking advantage of the power of others.

The two walked on the avenue lined with golden-thread fig trees.

It was already nearing noon, and even the layers of leaves could not block the heat wave brought by the bright sunshine.

Fortunately, Zi Sui had been taken on a tour around the place by Uncle Cai, a senior tour guide.

Now the only things I haven't visited are the library near the center and a nearby cafeteria.

"Boss, let's go to the library first."

"How about we go to the cafeteria after the lunch rush?"

"Can."

Zi Sui nodded and agreed to his arrangement.

The two of them walked quite fast and in a moment they reached the square in front of the library.

The sound of splashing water played solo in the empty square, and the crystal water droplets sparkled in the light.

Under the bright midday sun, the central portrait fountain looks like diamonds scattered among the flowers.

Another human figure? And a chain around the waist?

Zi Sui frowned slightly. He was in an unfamiliar place now, so it was naturally inconvenient for him to open his eyes.

Not being able to use the Eye of Hell meant that he couldn't see through the stone shell of the sculpture to see if there were any hidden secrets inside.

Zi Sui's brain was working rapidly, engraving the current appearance of the statue into his mind.

Just like the two statues at the gate, as well as the roads and buildings throughout the campus, were recorded not long ago.

He followed Uncle Cai and, like most students, walked to the right, around the huge fountain, and headed towards the library.

And when he passed by the fountain, he turned his head as if he sensed something.

Across the transparent flowing water, the black pupils met a pair of pure white eyes.

Their eyes met for only a moment, and the next second, the two people went in opposite directions and their eyes were separated.

This powerful guy is someone I don’t know, and he smells very bloody.

A hint of curiosity and eagerness to try flashed in Zi Sui's eyes.

However, he knew very well that he could not defeat the owner of these white eyes at the moment.

Behind Zi Sui, Arakawa Jiusu, with white hair and white eyes, looked back and left without much concern.

"That feeling is like a psychic blocker."

"Is this a new talent dug up by the human race's top brass? He's so weak."

A slight breeze blew, ruffling the ink-colored highlights on his forehead, and the low whispers dissipated into the air.

On the other side, Zi Sui stopped in front of the tall archway of the library.

Neither he nor Uncle Cai had any intention of going in. It would be more accurate to say that neither of them could go in.

As an institution of higher learning founded by academic cliques, one can imagine how much importance Shengtian Public School attaches to knowledge.

At present, Zi Sui, who has not yet enrolled, and Zhang Juncai, who has already graduated, cannot enter the library.

Shengtian Public Library: No entry without a student badge.

So, the two of them spent an hour slowly walking around the library and then went directly to the college cafeteria.

To be honest, this kind of behavior really gives me the feeling of a criminal being scouted.

Zi Sui was speechless for a moment and realized that he actually had a premeditated crime.

Forget it, anyway, let’s eat first.

Zi Sui picked up a piece of low-grade beast meat covered with seasoning and put it into his mouth.

The next moment, he reached out as if nothing had happened and picked up the black coffee at hand.

Swallow this mouthful of meat which has little spiritual energy with this coffee.

At the same time, it was meat with too much seasoning that made him feel sick.
