The next day, Xu Li arrived at the company early.
The documents that needed her review were already on the table. She quickly glanced through them and approved them after signing them without any problems. If there were any problems, she would ask the secretary to return them for revision.
Now she no longer needs to do many things in the company herself like she did at the beginning. After explaining things to her secretary, she went into the inner room of the office.
There was a game console in the inner room, which her father had brought in to appease her.
After Xu Li finished adjusting it, she lay down and logged into her account. It was exactly nine o'clock.
As soon as she entered the backstage, Nari received a prompt, so she directly turned on the communication function and greeted Xu Li.
"morning."
"Good morning." Xu Li also replied to her.
"Did you see the new copy I created?" Nari had already done part of the work yesterday and saved it.
Xu Li took a look and asked, "Is this the copy called 'Campus Horror Night'?"
"Yes, just come in." Nari said.
Xu Li quickly entered the dungeon and was a little shocked when she came in, because this dungeon was really... too dark!
"Sorry, sorry, I'll get you a light source." Nari also noticed this. This copy only has night, so the whole scene is in darkness.
Under Nari's manipulation, Xu Li's body quickly and automatically glowed with light, giving her the illusion that she was about to perform a stage play in the next second.
"First, help me improve the interiors of a few classrooms. I've added the blueprints to the system team column. You can work directly with them. If you don't understand, just ask." Nari is the kind of person whose work mode and life mode are completely different. She is focused and serious when she is at work.
Xu Li nodded. She was very familiar with the backend operations and quickly called up the drawings that Nari mentioned.
Nari assigned her two classrooms, a music room and an art room. Xu Li worked very efficiently and it took her two hours. After checking, Nari expressed her satisfaction and planned to let her take charge of a larger scene in the afternoon.
"Let's log off and eat first." Nari also needed to eat. She felt that she couldn't stay up all night and forget about eating. Besides, it was not good for her health.
During the lunch break, Xu Li dealt with some small matters at the company.
Nari, after drinking the nutrient solution, took a rare walk outside. This was her first time outside; she'd been immersed in game development since arriving, though she didn't really like going out.
The original owner was quite familiar with the area. She walked around according to her memory. She didn't see many people along the way, and none of them were familiar to the original owner. She didn't need to communicate with anyone, she just wanted to relax, and it felt pretty good.
After walking around, Nari went home. After drinking some water, she sat on the small sofa and started browsing the news on the Internet using her light computer.
Only then did she notice that her game had actually climbed to the bottom of the game list, right at the 100th place.
For a horror game to make the list, no matter where it ranks, is a remarkable thing in itself. Nowadays, if you open any of the major StarCraft forums, you will find discussions about this matter.
Everyone is saying, is the horror game section really going to rise?
Let's discuss this rationally. I think the term "rise" is overstated. I've also played this game and have to admit it's quite novel. Many of the settings in the dungeons were completely unexpected, and I'm sure many people, like me, have experienced being frightened to the point of screaming. The overall experience is quite good. However, there's only one dungeon currently, so it's hard to predict its future development. I just hope this dungeon is the beginning of the game, not its peak.
[Actually, apart from the novel setting and plot, the game's format is quite simple. So, if we want to talk about the rise of horror games, I think we have to wait and see.]
[Indeed, but I think it's pretty good to be seen and recognized by so many people. After all, it's a horror game.]
Yes, and it's a rare horror game that's not sleazy. You can feel that the developers really want to scare us, haha.
[Hahaha, the producer really wanted to scare us, especially that close-range kill.]
[I think this mentality is the right one. If it doesn't scare the players, can it be called a horror game?]
[Also, the producer is very good at selecting materials. The doll element is so well used. My sister was so curious when she saw me playing with it that she wanted to play with it too. Today, she packed up all the dolls in the house and donated them, hahahaha.]
[What are you laughing at? Have you ever considered the feelings of someone like me who has a doll by my bed all year round?]
[Luckily, mine is a teddy bear, hehe.]
To be honest, before I started playing this game, I didn't really think those dolls were anything special, but now when I see them, I feel... creepy.
【We must believe in science.】
【By the way, this game producer's account is so empty. 】
[She's a newcomer, right? Fresh blood is definitely different. I hope the producer can be more active and do more work.]
That producer's signature is so funny. Others would like to list all their works and awards, but she just writes "I make crappy games." Hahahaha, who gets my fucking joke!
[I understand. I can only say that it really has a strong personality, hahahaha.]
[But there's another problem. After all, this game is quite popular right now, so maybe some copycat games will start to appear.]
[Oh, I already know what those people will do. So annoying.]
