After Li Xinni left, Zhuang Yun went downstairs to the information room on the first floor and began to use his authority to look up the medical records of Hu and Zheng in the hospital.
"Doctor Zhuang?" Just as she was reading the information, someone came into the information room.
Zhuang Yun subconsciously wanted to close the interface, but she controlled her hand, maintained a calm look and turned her head away.
"Doctor Zou? Are you here looking for information too?"
Doctor Zou is an old man. I don’t know why he is still able to work so hard at this age, and the hospital has no intention of letting him retire.
The man was wearing a pair of reading glasses, had thin lips and deep wrinkles on his face, but because he was thin enough, there was no sagging fat to form ravines on his face.
"Yes, as we age, we need to learn more, otherwise we'll easily fall behind the times. Where's Doctor Zhuang? What information are you looking for? Is there anything that can stump Doctor Zhuang? You're the best among this group of doctors."
Zhuang Yun pretended not to understand his meaning and generously made room beside him. "We're going to perform surgery on a few distinguished guests on the fifth floor the day after tomorrow. Mr. Qin wasn't in good condition last night, so I came to check his medical records in the hospital system. If there are any issues, it's best to resolve them quickly to prevent any accidents during the surgery."
Doctor Zou adjusted his reading glasses and glanced at the computer screen. It was indeed Mr. Qin's medical record, and Zhuang Yun's explanation was reasonable. He had also heard the nurse talk about Mr. Qin's condition last night.
"Is that so..." Doctor Zou nodded, his eyes narrowed. "We should be careful to avoid any accidents."
"Yes." Zhuang Yun nodded. "I just saw that Mr. Qin's previous lung and stomach transplants were both performed by Dr. Zou."
"Yes." Doctor Zou nodded, a hint of pride on his face. "Mr. Qin has always trusted me. If I weren't so old, he would probably continue to ask me to perform surgery. But now I'm old, and now I can only perform minor surgeries or prescribe medicine."
"You're joking." Zhuang Yun said, pretending to be nice to him. "You're a treasure of our hospital. Everyone says you're a walking book of experience."
The two talked for quite a while in the information room. Zhuang Yun spoke to the other party calmly and gently, but her back was actually soaked with sweat. She was not sure whether the other party had any doubts.
Fortunately, the information had been found anyway, and she did not reveal the fact that Hu and Zheng were missing before. She was also glad that she finally confirmed Mr. Qin's records again.
Mr. Qin did have multiple organ transplants, but not every one went smoothly. The information found in his ward was not comprehensive. His spleen and liver transplants were not successful because the "donor" took large amounts of drugs and committed suicide.
She wrote all of this on a piece of paper, gave it to Li Xinni, and asked Li Xinni to bring it to Jiang Yan and the others when she delivered medicine next time.
"How is it?" Qiongzhi leaned over to look at what was written on the paper.
Jiang Yan had already finished reading it, so he simply handed him the paper. "Mr. Qin transplanted the lungs, large and small intestines, and stomach. Mr. Hu transplanted the liver and pancreas. Mr. Zheng transplanted the gallbladder and spleen."
Li Xinni listened from the side and suddenly understood: "This time they want to transplant a kidney, a brain, and a heart!"
Human organs are basically all being replaced.
Why is it so perfect?
"We have to do a fake operation." Jiang Yan said, "Do you know how many people are usually present during an operation?"
Li Xinni nodded, "There are about five people present at each operation in the hospital."
"You'll have to find a way to deal with the others when the time comes." Jiang Yan asked bluntly.
Li Xinni was shocked. Deal with the others?! Is this something she can do?!
"Doctor Zhuang will definitely help you." Qiongzhi reluctantly comforted her: "If there is a chance, we will also help you."
Li Xinni looked at this and that, and finally nodded stiffly. She didn't know why she took on this heavy responsibility.
As night fell, Zhuang Yun sensitively noticed that the number of people on duty at the hospital seemed to have increased tonight, and...
She opened the door a little and looked outside, and found that there were several new security guards patrolling.
Closing the door, she couldn't help but feel fortunate that they had already done all that last night, otherwise waiting until tonight would be extremely dangerous.
But at the same time, she became more anxious about the surgery tomorrow afternoon.
Li Xinni is on night shift on the fourth floor tonight, and there are two other nurses with her.
"Would you like some water?" a nurse asked her, handing her a disposable paper cup filled with water.
"Thank you." Li Xinni took it and thanked the other party, and her mind turned to tomorrow's affairs. She was wondering whether she needed to secretly stuff a few anesthetics in tomorrow.
"What are you thinking about? Can't you hear me talking to you?" The nurse bumped into her shoulder. She was startled, but when she came to her senses, she quickly said it was nothing.
"I'm having my first surgery tomorrow and I'm a little worried."
"It's nothing, the operation is very simple." The nurse smiled. "We don't really have to do anything. You just need to follow Dr. Zhuang's instructions and do the supporting work."
"Okay." Li Xinni nodded, suppressed her worries, held the paper cup in both hands and took a sip of water.
The air pressure in the hospital was exceptionally low tonight, but fortunately the night passed peacefully. Those on night shift breathed a sigh of relief and happily went back to work when the time came.
"You've worked hard too, you can't leave work." Before leaving, the nurse on duty looked at Li Xinni pitifully. She had replaced another colleague on the night shift yesterday, and she still had to work the day shift.
