The monster paused, stretched out his hand to take the gift, and the next second, he disappeared in a flash.
Li Xinni breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed the air with both hands. She had held the gift in her hands for so long, and now it was suddenly gone. She was a little uncomfortable.
She woke up, and walked out of the sense of urgency of being chased. She started to walk back according to the route she remembered. She had already given the gift, so even if she encountered monsters later, it would be fine for the time being.

On the other side, Nari tutted unhappily because she had reached another dead end.
She looked back a little irritably, tugged at the hood of her cloak, and quickly returned to the previous fork in the road.
Song Shian handed over his gift box without any surprise. Trapped in this maze, it was only a matter of time before he encountered these monsters, so it was not a loss to give it away now.

She walked carefully in the middle of the passage, and when she came to a fork in the road, she simply kicked off her shoes and walked in the direction the toes of her shoes were pointing.
Xu Li was the first one to find the exit. She was really lucky. When she walked outside, she didn't even realize that she had left the maze.
It wasn't until I saw the familiar elevator that I woke up from my dream.
"God bless you!" She smiled and trotted into the elevator with the gift box in her arms, feeling completely relaxed.
After Xu Li came Song Shian. When they saw that the other was alone, they roughly guessed that they had encountered a monster.
"I didn't expect that we are faster than Nari." Xu Li said with a smile as she watched him walk into the elevator.
Song Shian nodded, a bit surprised too. Although the maze could be randomly transformed by the system, he had assumed that as its designer, Nari would at least be able to determine the general direction of the exit, so she should have cleared it before them.
But what he didn't know was that Nari had given the system too much freedom, and as a result, he couldn't find the exit of the maze anymore.
Nari was faced with one dead end after another with no tears in her eyes, feeling like she was shooting herself in the foot.
Moreover, something even more horrifying happened. She huddled in the alley and didn't dare to go out because she saw an autopsy doctor on each of the two passages outside.
"God wants to kill me."
She closed her eyes and did not hide in the morgue again. Although the autopsy personnel could not locate the player's exact position, the program settings allowed them to have a rough range of positioning, which was why they were able to find the player.
So even if she hid in the morgue, unless there were people outside who had not sent gifts to lure them away, they would only continue searching the area where she was.
Seeing that they are now searching this area together, it is obvious that there is no one outside that attracts them, which indirectly proves that the others have already "handed over" the gifts.
It was futile for her to continue struggling.
And even if she wanted to hide in there to buy some time for Li Xinni, the cold air in the morgue was no joke, and she didn't want to freeze to death at all.
At least the autopsy man's method of killing is less painful.
Li Xinni was not aware of the situation on Nari's side. She covered her mouth and frantically searched for an exit in the maze. The mummies in the mazes no longer scared her because she had encountered creatures more terrifying than mummies.

The soul of Nali met Zhuang Yun and Pei Yi. They floated above the maze and looked at Li Xinni quietly.
The poor child didn't know that not far behind her, the two autopsy doctors had already placed the gifts and were on their way. Nari's "death" marked the end of the first round of gift-giving, and now it was time for the second round.

Song Shian pressed the button and the elevator door slowly closed. The next second, four figures appeared out of thin air.
"I can't find the way!" Li Xinni said as soon as she revived, "I'm so anxious!"
"It's okay, it's okay." Nari rubbed her face with her hand, and then said with emotion: "Fortunately, I was smart and made a rebirth. Otherwise, we would be left with Teacher Song fighting alone."
