Qian Xingxing didn't dare to think about whether Minghui was alive before. Could it be that because he "killed" the strange thing in his dream, the possessed Minghui died in reality?
Thinking about this at this moment will only affect his heart, and may eventually cause the two people and children outside to die.
So Qian Xingxing struggled to move his gaze away from Minghui.
"Don't come over!" The director's mother saw his expression, screamed, and kept shrinking into the corner with her hands holding her head. This was a very obvious defensive posture, but Qian Xingxing noticed that something was wrong.
She is hiding something.
Qian Xingxing looked at her back which was inexplicably leaning back even though she was shrinking inward, as if she was deliberately hiding something.
He frowned and looked around the rest of the room. There wasn't much in the room. There was an old-fashioned table against the wall near the door. On the table was a plate of "tribute" that emitted a faint sour smell. In the cabinet under the table, a door was open, revealing a red electronic candle and some yellow unidentified cloth strips.
On the other wall was a boarded-up window, not letting in any light. Next to it hung a red and green calendar, about a quarter of which was torn off.
In addition to these things, there was a ladder against the wall and a foldable couch...
As expected, the most eye-catching thing is the shrine nailed to the wall.
The reason why Qian Xingxing recognized that this was a shrine was because he saw the words "Deep Blessings" carved above the shrine. Below, there was a small incense burner, and the incense inside had long since burned out.
But behind the incense burner, on the round seat, there was nothing.
Qian Xingxing frowned. Obviously, there should have been something placed on the round seat.
Thinking of this, he looked at the director's mother again. She still maintained that frightened and alert expression, and her body posture did not change.
Qian Xingxing tightened the handle of the knife in his hand. The shiny blade reflected the red light in the room, giving people the illusion that blood was dripping from the tip of the knife.
As Qian Xingxing got closer, the fear on the director's mother's face became more and more obvious. After all, she was just an ordinary person, and she couldn't remain indifferent when facing the cold knife in Qian Xingxing's hand.
"Hand it over." Qian Xingxing stared at him and stretched out a hand.
"I, I don't know what you're talking about!" Dean's mother shook her head, her lips trembling as she answered her, her hands behind her back unconsciously tightening, "Don't come over here!"
Qian Xingxing looked at her, his chest filled with anger, but now was not a good time to settle the score with her, so he just approached with a cold face, then raised his hand as if he was going to chop someone.
The director's mother closed her eyes out of fear, but the knife did not fall.
She opened her eyes in surprise, and realized that Qian Xingxing was just pretending to raise the knife. The next moment, she was pulled by one hand and pressed to the ground, like a captured criminal.
The dean's mother didn't have much strength, so it wasn't difficult for Qian Xingxing to subdue her. But with just two light pushes, the thing hidden behind her was exposed.
Normally, the golden statue should glow brightly under the red light in the room, but after Qian Xingxing kicked it out with his foot, he found that the statue now seemed dim.
Did the "dream" just now really have some influence on me?!
He was delighted and ignored the dean's mother's struggle. He turned around and chopped at the broken statue with a knife.
"No!" The dean's mother exclaimed and rushed towards the statue, but her speed was definitely not as fast as Qian Xingxing who was swinging the knife. With a clang, the knife broke into two pieces under Qian Xingxing's shocked gaze.
Half of it flew out directly, and the remaining half was still in his hand.
"Damn?" Qian Xingxing looked at the remaining half of the knife in his hand, suddenly raised his hand and hit the mask again. This time, the broken end of the knife cut into the mask and got stuck inside.
Qian Xingxing lifted the knife handle and also lifted up the statue. The director's mother's eyes were wide open and her hands were stretched in the air.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Qian Xingxing slammed the statue to the ground again and again, slamming it down mercilessly. Amidst the screams and cries of the dean's mother, he continued pounding until he was completely exhausted.
Qian Xingxing's palms went numb, and the knife handle slipped out of his hand, also out of the statue. He suddenly sat down on the ground, watching the statue roll out, and then fell to the ground, panting.
So tired.
The director's mother hurriedly got up, staggered towards the statue, grabbed it back into her arms, took a closer look, and her face suddenly changed.
"How could it be! How is it possible?!"
There was a crack on the mask of the Three Evils statue!
She gently touched the mask with her hand, and the obviously rough touch told her that the crack was not an illusion, nor was it her dizziness, but was real.
But how could this be? These are the Three Evil Gods!
All of a sudden, her legs went weak and she knelt down on the ground. This was the scene that Zi Bai saw when he rushed over after smashing the statue and escaping from the "dream".
He stepped forward, pulled Qian Xingxing's arm, and said to him, "Thank you."
Qian Xingxing shook his head. His palms were aching and his strength was running low.
"Nanpeng and the children?" he said, looking outside the house. The children had woken up one after another, and soon the whole space was filled with their cries.
As for Nan Peng, although he returned to reality, he obviously had not yet recovered from the "dream". He stood there shaking his head until a child stumbled over and hugged his thighs, and then he completely came to his senses.
"Mom." The children finally saw the director's mother, although she was sitting on the ground in a mess.
