She flipped through the diary roughly, quickly found the page with her own name on it, and tore it clean with a sizzle.
Seeing that page of the prophecy being torn, everyone's eyes were focused on the diary. Could it be that Zhen Lisi's method really worked? If so, it meant that they didn't need to be afraid of this diary.
But the next second, they saw bloody words appear on a new blank page:
She tore up the diary in fear, but this could not change the predetermined future. The spiders would still crawl out of her wounds...
"Ahhhh!!!" Seeing the words above, Jane Lis screamed and tore up the page of the diary again, but it was no use. Even if she tore up page after page, the next moment, the bloody words would still continue to write her ending.
"Burn it! Burn it quickly!" Looking at the several pieces of paper with blood words written on the ground, Zhen Lisi looked at Ni Jie and Ni Ye with pleading eyes.
She knew that the two men had lighters on them.
But Ni Jie and Ni Ye were still silent. Seeing this, she couldn't help but yell, "It's me now. If I die, you'll be next!"
What she said was not impossible. Ni Jie and Ni Ye looked at each other. The former took out the lighter from his pocket, then took a step forward, carefully placed it in Zhen Lisi's hand, and quickly stepped back.

Flames licked the edges of the diary, but no one saw any sign of the diary catching fire...

They stared at Jane Liss. The pain and screams made her whole body turn red. As she pulled, the black spider moved obviously much faster. After a while, half of its body came out.
"Ugh." Childe covered his mouth. A spider or something crawled out of a person's body. The scene was not bloody, but it made him feel very uncomfortable in his stomach.
The black spider quickly and completely crawled out. It opened its mouth and bit Jane Lisi's hand that was holding it. Jane Lisi screamed and fell to the ground, not knowing whether she was dead or alive.
The black spider fell to the ground, and then there was a crackling sound in the room. More than ten round, plump pearls with a faint luster rolled out from under the bed.
The white light of the pearl seemed to attract the black spider, and it stretched its legs and crawled over. The swelling on Jane's face was still bulging, and soon, small black spiders came out one after another.
The dense swarms of little spiders made people's scalps tingle. As soon as they came out, they crawled towards the pearls.
"Let's go! Stop looking!" Childe tugged at Renault and Qiongzhi's clothes and told them to leave quickly while the spiders had no intention of attacking them.
"Let's go." Renault made the decision, and Qiongzhi followed with the diary in her arms. They wanted to try whether the door could be opened now.
The sound of several people's footsteps coming down the stairs echoed in the house. Qiongzhi sensitively heard another sound mixed in with their footsteps.

"What?" Childe asked calmly, and ran with her to the open door. A light rain was falling outside.

They still remembered the way they came. In the rain, the five of them ran all the way, their shoes stepping on the rain-soaked dirt road, and mud stains all over their trouser legs.
The scarecrow stood in the rain in the same place, this time wearing Forso's clothes.
Instead of looking closely, the few of them quickened their pace and left this strange cornfield in one fell swoop.
"Make a mark." On the roadside, Ni Ye took a pair of replacement slippers belonging to Fudoke from their car and placed them at the place where they entered and exited the corn.
