Chapter 248: Feeling Like a Thorn in the Back

Liao Xiaoe did not go back to the locker room with everyone today. She spent some time in the practice room practicing some more difficult moves.

By the time she walked in, many people had already changed. After spending so much time together, many people gradually stopped changing clothes and didn't have to go to the cubicle to change. Most people changed clothes directly outside.

Liao Xiaoe closed the door as usual. She was the last one to come in.

As soon as she came in, the chatter inside stopped a lot, but there were still some people who continued chatting without paying attention. Liao Xiaoe walked through the crowd and came to her own locker.

The key was a round flat piece on a small bracelet. When she placed it on the lock and heard a clicking sound, it meant the lock was opened. However, what Liao Xiaoe didn't expect was that after unlocking the door, she didn't even need to reach out to open the cabinet door, because the cabinet door suddenly opened out in a hurry as if it could no longer bear the pressure.

Liao Xiaoe subconsciously took a step back to avoid being hit by the cabinet door, but then a strong fishy smell burst out and rushed straight into her nostrils.

There was a loud bang, as if a wet mop was slammed hard on the ground. Many people looked over at once, and then someone let out the first scream that Nari heard.

Liao Xiaoe stared at the white duck for a long time. The bright red blood spread, and she saw a few bubbles coming out of it. Yellow-white fat accumulated in the pink intestines, and purple-red unknown internal organs fell at her heels.

The crowd's screams brought her soul back, and then her legs went weak and she staggered backward, her heels and back pressed against the wall. The cold wall made her shiver.

The duck's beak was open, its neck was cut off, its head and body were separated, and its feet and wings were also disassembled, like an unfinished assembly of building blocks.

Seeing that she was shaking constantly and her voice was getting smaller and smaller, the teacher quickly asked Liao Xiaoe to stop talking, asked someone to take her away to rest, and then asked someone to contact the staff there.

"Have them bring their tools and contact the team leader and deputy team leader. We'll need them to negotiate and retrieve the surveillance footage. Everyone else, quickly change your clothes and get out."

Under the teacher's command, everyone finally regained their senses and quickly took action. Nari also took this opportunity to pretend to have changed clothes and sneaked out of the locker room.

As they emerged, the boys from the next door also began to arrive in the passageway. They mingled together, whispering about what was happening inside. Nari glanced at the emergency exit at the end of the passageway and slowly walked towards it, sticking to the wall without attracting anyone's attention.

"Vincent, you're targeting Rose so much, are you really your ardent fan?"

As Nari got closer and closer to the emergency exit, a light voice passed by her ear. Her ears moved and she turned her head slightly, but she only saw a head of golden curly hair.

Nari didn't linger for too long. She quickly retracted her gaze and carefully pushed the door of the emergency exit open a little. She then slid her body sideways to get in. The door opened and closed very slowly, so the whole process was silent.

She climbed up the stairs back to the uncomfortable corridor. The moment she walked into the corridor, the black and white faces made her feel like she was being watched.

Nari quickened her pace, leaving the uncomfortable feeling behind, then opened the door with the room card and entered the room.

Yang Feiyu hadn't woken up yet. The click of the door made her turn over in her sleep. There were still ten minutes before the wake-up call. Nari fell softly on the bed. Looking at Yang Feiyu's sleeping face, she felt a little relieved.

She'd actually seen those portraits before yesterday, but she'd only thought they weren't pretty, not as uncomfortable as she'd been. Perhaps it was because she was alone this time... Nari figured she'd be a bit braver with more people around.

Ten minutes later, the phone in the room rang on time. The ding-dong sound made Yang Feiyu sit up in bed with a start. Nari then reached out to pick up the phone and pressed the hands-free button.

"Hello, guest. This is the room wake-up call. It's 7:30 in the morning. I wish you a wonderful day." A gentle female voice came from the phone. Yang Feiyu responded with a few "OK"s in a daze, and then Nari hung up the phone.

"ah--"

She watched Yang Feiyu fall back onto the bed, then roll around on the bed, struggling like a fish that had been pulled ashore, and then turned into a caterpillar and slid down the bed while wriggling.

Yang Feiyu put her feet on the ground, then used her hands to hold the edge of the bed to prop herself up. Then she opened her eyes and looked at Nari: "Why are you up so early?"

"…Get used to your bed." Nari looked at her, looking so sleepy that she was about to faint, and shook her head: "Go clean up quickly."

"Oh my God, I have to get up at eight o'clock to go to work!" Yang Feiyu wailed, but when she thought that she might be able to see Liao Xiaoe today, she became motivated again. She struggled to get the distributed dance clothes and put them on, and washed up at the same time.

The bathroom door was closed, so Nari simply changed her clothes in the room.

When she changed her clothes, Yang Feiyu just came out of the bathroom, and the phone rang again at this time.

"Huh? Why is there another phone call?" Yang Feiyu asked curiously. Without waiting for Nali to answer the phone, she strode over and handed the lotion in her hand to Nali: "Wipe it on." Then she answered the phone herself.

"Hello? Who is this?"

Nari looked at her and asked this question several times, then hung up the phone with a frown, and complained: "You're crazy, don't say anything."
