Chapter 258 Light

With an experimental mentality, Nari tilted the phone slightly, and the light left the two people at the back. They suddenly moved, approaching Nari like clockwork puppets.

Nari moved her hand slightly, and the light immediately returned to them, and they froze in place, no longer moving forward.

The guess was confirmed. Nari kept holding the phone and slowly stood up from the corner.

The people in front were only a little over a meter away from her. Nari carefully held her phone and moved along the wall.

It is actually quite difficult to ensure that the flashlight reaches everyone. It would be fine if you just stay in one place, but now Nari has to move while keeping an eye on the light source, so accidents are inevitable.

Sometimes, because of her movements, the light deviated a little, and the next second the person was about to touch her, which made Nari so excited that she was like a cat with its fur standing on end.

What’s even more damnable is that the classroom door was locked!

Nari gritted her teeth and wished she could become a strongman right now, immediately, and ideally, the kind that could directly break the broken lock off!

But obviously her wish could not be fulfilled. No matter how hard she pressed the door handle, it was locked tightly.

Helplessly, she could only try to leave through the window. But opening the window, climbing through the window, and closing the window to prevent these people from climbing through the window were all relatively simple actions without any additional requirements. However, in this environment, there was a light buff, specifically targeting these people who would "come alive" without light.

Nari had thought about fixing her phone in a perfect place, but that would mean she would have to discard her phone later. No matter how much the phone cost or what brand it was, it was pitch black outside with no lighting, how could she get around without her phone?

And who knows if there might be someone out there with the light buff! If she really left her phone behind, she didn't think she would survive much longer.

So even in difficult times, she has to carry her little cell phone with her, and they can be said to be dependent on each other this time.

Nari first tried the window lock, and after confirming that it was unlocked, she let the light in so that each of them could be illuminated, and then she slowly moved to the other end of the classroom.

Then, she took a deep breath, opened the control interface of her phone, and quickly pressed the button to turn off the flashlight. Without the light of the phone, the surroundings immediately fell into darkness. Nari could hear the squeaking sounds of those people moving around.

Relying on her body's instinctive reaction, she counted to five in her mind and turned on the flashlight on her phone again when her heart was beating the fastest.

A beam of light hit the person in front of her. The pale, dry skin reflected the light, startling Nari for a moment. Then she slowly moved again with her phone, this time back to the window.

At that time, she was standing in front of the window, keeping a distance from these people. She moved the mobile phone to her left hand, barely maintaining the lighting angle, and her dominant right hand was responsible for opening the window.

Because her left hand was not her dominant hand, after holding the phone for a while, Nari felt the fingers of her left hand become very stiff, and her arm also felt like it was about to cramp.

Her left hand began to shake. Every now and then, Nari would glance at the window on her right hand side, and then she would immediately turn back to check if the angle of light was shifted. Her head was almost leaving an afterimage.

It takes some strength to push open the window. The force of one hand and its movement will inevitably cause the body and the other hand to start moving, as if only in this way can they prove that they are a whole.

No matter how careful Nari was, some things were unavoidable. Fortunately, she had taken these people away from the window in advance and left some distance, so when the light was slanted, these guys couldn't get to her in one breath.

The atmosphere in the classroom became increasingly tense as the distance between them shortened.

The window was opened, but Nari still needed to climb out. She didn't have the strength to do it with one hand, so she had to repeat the previous steps without any hesitation.

Take these guys away first, and then slowly return to the window.

Hesitation leads to defeat.

She swallowed her non-existent saliva, then took a deep breath, turned around suddenly while grabbing her cell phone, grabbed the window frame with both hands, and kicked her legs, jumping onto the windowsill without any danger.

The sound of slow and rapid footsteps behind her was getting closer. Nari didn't look back, but landed on the ground quickly, then turned around and shone the light into the window while grabbing her phone.

Dozens of faces, pale in the middle and red around the edges, were fixed in the window frame, like some world-famous painting. At least Nari thought it was quite "shocking".

She panted and shook her hand, which had just been slightly twisted. She felt a little sore in her arm, but this pain didn't seem important at the moment.

Nari walked up to the window, reached out and yanked the glass window shut again, turning the person inside into a true painting. This way, she wouldn't have to worry about these things running out.

Then, she carefully looked at every face in the painting, and then put away her phone. "Not here," she muttered to herself, using the light from her phone to illuminate the way forward. There were only the two changing rooms ahead.

Nari looked back at the guys who were staying there obediently even without light. They were clinging to the window, unable to move their bodies, but their eyes were following her so closely that it seemed as if their eyeballs were about to fall out.

Shaking off the goose bumps on her body, Nari quickly walked towards the two changing rooms.

It wasn't locked, which was actually a bad habit. Nari carefully pushed the door open, and her first reaction was to rush inside with her phone to take a picture. Fortunately, there was no one like that inside.

She breathed a sigh of relief, then walked in carefully, starting from the right side where the rows of cabinets were all empty, so she could browse through all the lockers in the dressing room in one go.

But the tension of not knowing whether you will find something in the next row of lockers is not pleasant.

Fortunately, she walked all the way to the end and didn't see anything that shouldn't appear, but there were other places here that she hadn't checked, including the independent dressing room where she had hidden before.

The curtains in the locker rooms were all tightly drawn. This activity of lifting the curtains to check if there was anything inside was similar to the protagonist in a horror movie pushing open the toilet doors one by one to check the cubicles.

When facing the unknown, most people are afraid, especially when you already have all kinds of terrible ideas in your mind, then your heart will feel like it is going to jump out of your mouth.

This is probably the state Nari is in now.
