As soon as this thought came to her mind, Nari immediately exploded.
If Yatou's body was taken away by someone else, it means that there is another person in this space, a normal person like her and Yang Feiyu.
But this person hasn't shown up. Why is she or he hiding? Why did they take Yatou's body? What's their motive? Could their motive be harmful to them?
None of the questions had an answer. Nari took Yang Feiyu out of the elevator and looked around vigilantly, even the ceiling, but she didn't find any trace.
"What's wrong?" Yang Feiyu asked in a low voice.
Nali shook her head. It was just a guess. She thought it would be better not to tell Yang Feiyu so as not to increase her anxiety.
"It's okay, just press the elevator button." She pointed to the elevator opposite. Yang Feiyu said "oh" twice, pulled her forward and pressed the button.
"Why is this elevator coming down from above?"
Yang Feiyu looked at the numbers jumping on the display screen and said curiously.
Her careless words actually gave Nari a sudden jolt. This elevator was coming down from above, but… Nari still remembered that when she hurried into the elevator opposite, she nervously glanced out as the door closed, watching for the duck-headed man's movements, so she had glanced at the elevator opposite a few times.
She clearly remembered that the elevator across the street also displayed floor 1, so how could it have come down from above?!
"There's someone else here." Nari said with a serious face, "Someone took this elevator upstairs."
Hearing her say this, Yang Feiyu's eyes widened immediately: "Also, there are other people coming to this world?"
"It could also be that...she already existed in this world."
Yang Feiyu became even more frightened and tightened her grip on Nari's hand, "So... is he a human or a ghost?"
Nari shook her head at this question, but one thing is for sure: if the conversation she overheard behind the stage was true, then this person might be the culprit behind the sabotage.
"We must catch him!" After hearing Nari's analysis, Yang Feiyu asked her about what she had overheard, then clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, her fear lessening a little.
Nari looked at her and didn't tell her about the tragedy that happened on the stage, even though it was not true.
The elevator had arrived, and the two quickly got in. Nari tapped her Master Card and then pressed the button for her floor. Technically speaking, this was her second time on this floor, just in a different world.
The dim corridor welcomed a beam of light and two visitors. The light revealed the situation in the corridor to Nari and Yang Feiyu. The latter subconsciously clenched her teeth to prevent herself from making any noise to alert the people who might be hiding there. This was what Nari had told her in the elevator before.
The corridor here is completely different from the one Nari had seen before.
Large pieces of wallpaper were torn off, some scattered on the ground, and some were hanging on the wall, about to fall off. The wall below was exposed, and because part of the wall was taken away by the wallpaper, it looked full of holes.
Nali took Yang Feiyu and stepped on the wallpapers on the ground. It was not because there was any special mechanism, but simply because there was a layer of something pasted on the floor.
It was dark red in color, and not very obvious under the flashlight, but Nari accidentally stepped on it just now, and when she lifted her leg again, she noticed something was wrong; it was sticky.
Now, as she stepped on the wallpaper, she could see a clear dark red shoe print left on it when she lifted her foot.
Yang Feiyu mustered up the courage to squat down, poked the floor with her fingers, and then sniffed her fingers which were stained a little red.
"It's paint." She stood up, wiped her hands on her pants, and said, "There's a layer of paint on the floor, but there's no smell?"
"After all, this is not a normal world." Nari said. After all, the head and body were separated and there was no bleeding. Compared with the smell, she cared more about the fact that in the normal world, when Liao Xiaoe's room was destroyed, the perpetrator used a lot of red paint.
"Be careful." She warned Yang Feiyu, then pulled her to move carefully on the wallpaper, feeling like playing hopscotch.
Relying on these wallpapers, they successfully reached the door of Liao Xiaoe's room. The door was closed. The light shone on the door, revealing dozens of red palm prints on it.
Nari roughly gestured with her hands and found that these palm prints should be from the same person, as they were about the same size. This further confirmed their guess that there was another person hiding here.
She used the master card to unlock the door. Neither of them got too close. Yang Feiyu stretched out her legs and gently kicked the door open, while Nari took out her mobile phone and shone it into the room.
It was pitch black, but they could confirm that there were no Tibetans at the door, so the two of them carefully walked in.
As usual, she tested the card to see if there was power, but unfortunately, there was still no power. For safety reasons, Nari asked Yang Feiyu to turn on the flashlight on her phone. After all, there might be someone hiding in the house, and if the lighting was not good, it would be easy for them to find a loophole.
With the light from two mobile phones, the surroundings suddenly became much brighter.
They first checked the bathroom near the door. The shower curtain was not drawn, so it was obvious that there was no one hiding there. Then they checked the closet behind the door.
Walking inside, the room was a mess, but unlike the red paint she'd seen everywhere, it was actually quite clean. However… Nari looked at the dance costume nailed to the wall above the bed. Even without the red paint everywhere, this person's malice towards Liao Xiaoe would still be undisguised.
"Where did this psychopath come from!" Yang Feiyu angrily walked forward, climbed onto the bed and reached out to pull the dance costume. The nails were not nailed tightly, Yang Feiyu just pulled hard a few times, and Nari saw that the nails were loose.
After a while, accompanied by a crackling sound, nails fell onto the bed one by one. Yang Feiyu tore off her dance costume and held it in her hand. She was caught off guard and was frightened by the thing on the wall that was originally covered by the dance costume.
It was a strange red smiling face with two pure red eyes and a big mouth with two ends raised high, very close to the eyes. It was a very simple picture, but the placement of the painting was very good.
When the dance costume was taken off, the person who took the clothes would be facing this smiling face. Because the distance was very close, it would give people the illusion of being stared at. Yang Feiyu was completely frightened and couldn't come back to her senses for a long time. It was only when Nari stepped forward and pulled her away that she suddenly remembered to breathe.
Her legs suddenly went limp and she sat down on the bed. She opened her mouth to curse but couldn't. It took her a while to recover.
