Chapter 264 is hard to watch

The chosen people stood up very consciously. Nali and Yang Feiyu had no choice but to stand up from their seats along with these charred guys.

The lights followed them until they walked up the side steps onto the stage, then all went out. Then, only small lights came on, illuminating the entire stage without lighting anyone in particular.

When they stood on the stage, facing the countless gazes from below, Yang Feiyu unconsciously moved closer to Nari. The two of them stood close to each other, and among the crowd of charred "lucky audiences", they felt like little chicks huddling together for warmth.

The dancer crawled around the group of people like some kind of animal on patrol, then slowly unfolded her limbs in front of them, stood up straight, and regained some of her "human" appearance.

She extended her hand to the first person as an invitation, and the dark-skinned person placed his hand in the other's.

The tune of the music suddenly rose, as if it had reached its climax. Nari could clearly feel the gazes of the audience becoming much hotter.

The dancers chose their partners, and then Nari saw that the rest of the people began to pair up with each other, probably to dance a duet. Nari realized this, so she and Yang Feiyu formed a pair without any doubt.

But they didn't know how to dance, so they slowly moved to an inconspicuous position and observed how the others danced.

They learned very stiffly, many of their movements were not correct, and there was no aesthetic appeal at all.

But the audience here doesn't care about these. Obviously, they are not really here to appreciate the dancing, but are secretly expecting something else.

Finally, after a certain beat of the music, the audience exhaled heavily in unison, and the air seemed to be warmed up by their overly coordinated exhalations.

And to Nari's ears, this exhalation sound was a clear danger signal.

All her muscles tensed up in an instant. She made a perfunctory gesture and turned to look at the other "people" on the stage.

The guys around them were all normal, except for the two in the center of the stage.

The guy whose whole body was burnt black and who was lucky enough to be invited by the dancer to dance and go to the middle of the stage, was now broken at the waist by the dancer like a toy.

But because it was no longer a living person, the broken waist did not cause it any trouble. Its hands were still clasped with the dancer's, so although its waist was broken, its upper body did not fall down for the time being. Its weakness could only be seen when it turned or bent down.

Nari keenly noticed that their dance steps were becoming more and more complicated, and many of the movements were beyond her and Yang Feiyu's ability to imitate.

Moreover, it's not just them, those charcoal men can't jump out either.

But the white-faced dancer didn't care about all this. She pulled her partner to complete those movements with an extremely tough attitude, regardless of whether the other person's hands and feet were broken, or whether the head was twisted too much in a certain movement and the bones were broken, and could never be turned back.

The dance partner was just a puppet used to cooperate with her performance. The white-faced dancer didn't care about her partner's situation. When she found that her partner could no longer dance, she simply threw the broken things aside, followed the music to the front of the others, and bent down to make an invitation gesture.

She successfully took the other person's dance partner away. As for the guy who lost his dance partner, he could not perform normally, and soon flames rose from under his feet and burned.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" It let out a violent scream and ran down from the stage with fire, "Fire! Fire!" Then before it reached the audience seats, it turned into a pile of black ash and piled on the ground.

“…”

Nari watched the scene silently. Within just a few minutes, the two "lucky spectators" were eliminated.

Turning her head sideways, Nari quickly overturned what she had previously thought. To be precise, the three "lucky audience members" were eliminated because the dancer's second partner was not far from being completely "broken" at this time.

The more passionate the music, the more "violent" the dancer's movements became. She seemed to be showing off her extraordinary dancing ability to everyone. Nari saw her smile getting bigger and bigger. The white powder covered her face but couldn't hide the pride in her eyes.

Everyone's eyes were focused on her. Nari saw her chest rising and falling rapidly, and the excited blush on her face was even threatening to cover the layer of white powder.

After a while, she threw her new dance partner to the ground, where all the black things were. She didn't even look at him and jumped straight towards Nari.

"What should I do..." Yang Feiyu subconsciously took a step back and looked at Nari nervously. According to the other party's dancing posture... She didn't want to be turned into pieces at all! She also didn't want to be burned to death!

But before Nari could come up with any solution, the person was already in front of her.

She bent her waist and lowered her head, her movements like a gentleman sincerely inviting a lady to dance at a ball, but Nari knew that she was not a gentleman at all, more like the Grim Reaper.

"Don't." Yang Feiyu reached out to hold Nali, signaling her not to dance with the other party. Nali nodded. After all, she had no intention of agreeing.

When her partner in dancing didn't show up, she straightened up and looked at Nari with an unhappy expression. The audience fell silent, countless eyes fixed on Nari. The music was forced to stop, and the hall was filled with a dead silence.

Seeing that her eyes were red and looked like they were about to burst into tears, Nari cleared her throat, raised her chin, and said, "I'm sorry, I refuse to dance with you."
