Chapter 3 Manual Review (revised)

At 8:30 the next morning, Nari opened her eyes naturally.

She got out of bed and walked to the window, opened the curtains in the room and opened the window to ventilate, then went to wash up in her slippers.

Xiao 1 was not in the house, so she quickly turned on the computer to check the status of the little robot and found that the child was located at the express delivery point downstairs, which made her feel much more at ease.

After she finished washing and tying her hair, there was a dripping sound at the door. The next second, Xiao 1 pushed the door open. He had the permission to enter this small room.

"Good morning, Master."

"Good morning, Xiao1." Nari patted its head and said, "Give me a nutrient solution."

The chocolate-flavored nutrient solution is much thicker than the strawberry-flavored one. After Nari finished drinking it in one breath, she handed the empty bottle to Xiao 1, who washed it, dried it, and put it away, and then took it to the recycling point.

It was past nine o'clock, and Nari donned her headset and entered the virtual world. She briefly uploaded her game to the manual review channel. Seeing the successful submission message, she breathed a sigh of relief and decided to use the time she had to wait for approval to write down ideas for her next game.

Just as she was using the memo that came with her home space to take notes, the employees in the audit department on the 24th floor of the MAKE company building began their busy day.

Tang Lili has been working at MAKE for two years, but she is still considered a newcomer in the audit department because many people in the same department have been working here for five or six years.

For Tang Lili, today was as boring as any other day. After clocking in at the company, she followed someone to make coffee and chatted in the tea room for a while. It took her a while to get to her seat and start work.

Compared to many old employees who already have fixed game producers responsible for maintenance, she can only review the games uploaded by novice game producers together with several other new employees.

There are basically no interesting and promising new works in the StarCraft game circle now. These newcomers sit at their workstations every day and feel like their days are passing by like years. They even feel a little nauseous when they see those games that are just a rehash of the old ways.

After roughly checking another "new game" with a 90% duplication rate and confirming that there was no illegal or infringing content in it, she sighed and pressed the pass button.

"Sister Lily." Yu Yi, the new employee sitting at the workstation next to her, half of her head popped out from behind the partition. Yu Yi was a new employee who had just joined the company during the spring recruitment this year. She was such a lovely child. When Tang Lili thought that her work would also smooth out her edges in the future, she often couldn't help but take extra care of her.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

Yu Yi blinked and said, "I received a newly uploaded horror game."

"Huh?" Tang Lili moved her chair in confusion, and moved to Yu Yi's side with it. She saw on Yu Yi's computer screen: "Welcome to the Nightmare Game", author: Nightmare, game section: Horror Game.

"This name looks quite realistic." Tang Lili said, and asked Yu Yi to click on the introduction of this game. Unexpectedly, the introduction was also quite realistic.

After much deliberation, she decided to have Yu Yi transfer the review of this game to her. "Please transfer the review of this game to me. There are very few horror games on the market now. Most of them are fighting games in disguise, and they are criticized. This makes the review of horror games quite troublesome."

"Okay." Yu Yi had no objection.

After returning to her workstation, Tang Lili refreshed the background and saw the game. Without thinking much, she clicked directly to enter the review mode.

Unexpectedly, the next second, a pop-up window appeared, telling her that the game was not supported on a computer.

"Okay, we have to go to the game room for review." Tang Lili had no choice but to take her work badge, say something to Yu Yi, and go to the game room that the company had allocated for their review department.

The game room is very large, with ten built-in game rooms, five or six of which are closed. Some people in the department should be reviewing the games in them.

Tang Lili swiped her work badge and was about to lie down in the game cabin when the game cabin next to her opened. The person sitting up inside happened to be the person she hated most in the department.

"Tang Lili, what are you doing here?" Xu Ze was surprised for a moment when he saw Tang Lili, then changed his expression to a mocking one: "Are you here to slack off?"

"..." Tang Lili cursed him in her heart. But because he was a veteran employee, and several of the game producers she was responsible for had already created hit games, she could only force a smile. "Hello, Mr. Xu. I came here because I encountered a new game that's a bit difficult to review."

"Oh?" Xu Ze raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "What game? Can I help you take a look? Maybe I can even give you some guidance."

Then you really are a good teacher! Tang Lili had countless curse words in her heart, but she looked at the person with a pleasant face: "Don't bother Teacher Xu. Teacher Xu has so many producers under him, he must be much busier than me."

"That's true." Xu Ze nodded affirmatively. After leaving the game room, he walked out. As he passed by Tang Lili, he glanced at her with a hint of contempt: "You better do your best."

After watching the others leave, Tang Lili rolled her eyes and lay down in the game cabin, "What bad luck."

After the game chamber closed, the connector automatically dropped down, and Tang Lili appeared in her virtual home. Her virtual image was a catgirl, with white cat ears and a tail exposed to the air, occasionally moving.

She walked to the console, opened her account, found the game called "Welcome to the Nightmare Game", and clicked again to enter the review mode.
