Chapter 31 Portrait

Qin Yu and Fu Guoguo, who had woken up, quickly understood what was going on through Jiang Yan. When they walked into the art room, no one had expected that the two tasks were actually combined.

Judging from Qiongzhi's current situation, he probably won't be able to help with anything else going forward. After all, suppressing the music from next door is already hard enough for him.

The problem in the art room needs to be solved by the three of them.

Qin Yu observed the things in the art room. The easels were placed around a statue of a human head covered with a veil. Some of the easels had unfinished drafts of works by unknown authors pasted on them.

There are paintings hanging on all four walls of the art room. Most of the brushstrokes are very immature, probably the works of students.

Among these works, portraits are the most numerous.

To be honest, having so many portraits hanging on the wall doesn’t give people a good feeling. It’s like being stared at all times, and it makes you feel a little uneasy after a while.

These portraits are all of students wearing school uniforms. They may have been drawn by students in art class.

Qin Yu looked at so many portraits, wondering which one was the most special... His eyes swept across the paintings, finally stopping at the one hanging in the center of the largest blank wall in the art room.

This is the only portrait of a person who is not a student.

The face of the person in the painting is somewhat distorted, even ugly, with a grin on his face, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.

Qin Yu walked in to take a look. There was a business card under the painting, which read "My Teacher" Li XX, Class 2-3, Senior High School. The last two words were blurred, leaving only two ink stains.

Fu Guoguo followed Qin Yu closely and frowned as she looked at the painting: "The people in this are so ugly."

"It's the teacher in the hallucination." Jiang Yan's voice sounded behind them. He said with certainty: "He has one ear, but the earlobe is missing."

Qin Yu looked carefully. Jiang Yan was right. One of the ears of the person in the painting had no earlobe. However, Qin Yu could not be sure whether the person he saw in the hallucination was the same person in the painting. He did not have the mind to observe the other person carefully at that time.

But he still believed Jiang Yan's words, so he took the painting down. As soon as he left the wall, the person in the painting actually moved his eyes and smiled.

Fu Guoguo immediately slapped Qin Yu's hand away and pulled him back, fearing that something might happen to him. The painting slipped out of Qin Yu's hands and fell straight to the ground.

The painting fell to the ground, but there was no sound.

It turned out that at some point, the sound of the piano music and Qiongzhi reciting scriptures aloud had disappeared.

With a snap, the lights in the art room went out. In the darkness, the eyes of the portraits could be clearly captured by the three people's vision.

Pairs of eyes were fixed on them, and whenever they moved, their eyes followed them.

Outside, Qiongzhi, who was still reciting scriptures, clenched the book in his hand. He could see that in the art room, his three teammates were looking at the air and doing something unknown.

He dodged left and right, just like the people in the past who performed shamanic rituals as mentioned in history books.

[Help, this is kind of funny, what's going on? ]

[Do the other three know how ridiculous they look from the host's perspective? ]

[Now I have to call my friend to play the game. I must record the scene of him dancing.]

[I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.]

[Help, I really want to know what happened over there. ]

Jiang Yan and the others were being attacked by paintings. Yes, the paintings formed a circle, trapping them inside, and then flew and spun rapidly. From time to time, a painting would suddenly hit them.

The picture frame is made of wood, and it would be quite painful if it was hit. I would probably get a bruise.

"We have to pull him out." Qin Yu covered his arm. He had just been hit on the upper arm by the corner of a painting, which made his hand numb.

"I'll do it." Jiang Yan frowned and clenched the peach wood sword in his hand. Fu Guoguo's cross had no effect in the illusion.

Another painting flew over, and Jiang Yan seized the opportunity to pierce it with the peach wood sword. With a scream, the painting spontaneously combusted on the spot and disappeared.

As he pierced the paintings one by one and they spontaneously combusted and disappeared, the number of paintings surrounding them drastically decreased, and the pressure was much less.

Qiongzhi watched her elder brother poking the air here and there with a peach wood sword, as if he was fencing. She wanted to stop chanting and laugh, but she couldn't, feeling very uncomfortable.

Suddenly, his brother jumped up from the spot and rushed forward with the sword in his hand. His movements were very handsome, but because he was pointing at the air, all the comments that came across were "hahahahaha".

Jiang Yan solved the problem of the portrait of the ugly man, and the three of them immediately came out of the illusion and returned to the normal art room.

Qiongzhi's voice chanting rang in his ears again. Fu Guoguo had never felt that his friend's voice was so beautiful. But when he looked over with a touching expression, he only saw Qiongzhi's face flushed from trying to hold back a smile and the corners of her mouth inexplicably raised as she chanted the scriptures.

?

Fu Guoguo was confused. The other two didn't pay attention to Qiongzhi's situation, but stepped forward to pick up the painting that had fallen on the ground.

The ugly and twisted man had disappeared, and all that was left in the painting was a woman with a bulging belly standing in front of the desk with a smile on her face. This was the true appearance of the painting - "My Teacher".

They hung the painting back on the wall, and the next moment the lights in the art room turned off automatically, the piano music disappeared, and silence returned to the top floor.

Two text messages were sent in a row. To be honest, Qiongzhi was really curious about how the minister knew that they had completed the task.

But what’s more important now is…

"I can't take it anymore. My throat is burning." His voice became extremely small and hoarse, which was caused by the scripture he had just read.
