Song Shixin was called in by the doctor for examination.
The relevant examinations for loss of sensation take a long time, and the person has to wait for a while before getting the report after coming out.
At the door of the clinic, there were many patients with aesthesia like Song Shixin. They were all accompanied by their family members or friends. Everyone knew that it was impossible for patients with aesthesia to come to the clinic for medical treatment on their own.
"No. 1887, Song Shixin, the report is out." The door of the clinic was pushed open, and a nurse robot called Song Shixin's name in a set gentle voice.
Song Shian immediately pulled the person into the clinic.
In the clinic decorated in white and blue tones, Dr. Chen looked at the data transmitted to him with surprise.
Song Shixin is his old patient, and this doctor has been taking care of her since she fell ill. However, for so long, Song Shixin's condition has not improved. But today she saw a glimmer of hope.
"Doctor Chen." Song Shian took Song Shixin to sit down and greeted him.
"Mr. Song, good news." Doctor Chen nodded, smiled, and showed the image on the screen to Song Shian.
Song Shian had seen the long blue line representing the patient's emotional ups and downs many times. Every time it was a straight horizontal line, but this time it was different. It had slight ups and downs.
Just such a small fluctuation was enough to make Song Shian excited, because it meant that Song Shixin was able to experience emotional fluctuations!
"Mr. Song, with all due respect, could you please tell us what caused Miss Song's condition to improve? I'm sure you're aware that the number of people with aesthesia is increasing, and we all hope to find a treatment."
Song Shian nodded and said, "I'm not sure that Shi Xin's improvement was due to that thing."
"Mr. Song, please tell us. Our hospital has dedicated personnel to conduct the experiments. Thank you for your help!"
Having said that, Song Shian simply explained the situation. When Dr. Chen heard that Song Shixin seemed to be frightened after watching a live broadcast of a horror game, his eyes widened.
"Horror game?!" She is usually very busy with work and has almost no time to study games, but she has heard that the worst games in the gaming industry are horror games.
But now Song Shian said that the patient was scared by the horror game and had emotional fluctuations. It was really a bit... outrageous?
"Are you sure there are no other factors?"
Song Shian shook his head: "Sorry, I can't think of any other possibilities. Maybe you can take a look at the name of that game, Welcome to the Nightmare Game."
Doctor Chen nodded, wrote down the name of the game, and asked Song Shian to confirm that there was no mistake in the record before telling them that they could leave.
Although she didn't quite believe that a horror game could help treat apathy, she also knew that whether any medicine would work had to be tried first, and she had no right to make a direct decision.
Li Fufang was guarding Song's father in the ward. When she saw her son coming with her daughter, she hurriedly asked what happened to Song Shian.
"Mom, don't worry." Song Shian patted his hand soothingly and looked at Song's father: "Dad, are you feeling better?"
Father Song nodded: "I feel much better after taking the medicine. These are all old ailments of mine. How is Xinxin?"
"That's good news." Song Shian said, showing the two of them the medical report of Song Shixin received on the computer, "Xinxin has been a little emotional."
"Is this true?!" Li Fufang suddenly stood up from the chair and stared at the thin lines. There was indeed a little fluctuation!
Father Song was also extremely excited. If half of his head wasn't still wrapped in the fixed treatment device, he would probably jump out of the bed. "Okay, okay, our Xinxin has been a blessed child since she was young. She will definitely get better."
For a moment, the two old people in the ward cried with joy.
On the other hand, Dr. Chen reported the matter, and the hospital quickly responded that they would organize a voluntary experiment.
I hope there will be good news, Dr. Chen thought.
Nari, who was sleeping, knew nothing about all this and was having a nightmare.
She herself has a dreamy constitution. She used to have dreams every few days, and most of the time they were lucid dreams, and they were all nightmares.
Friends said that her condition was caused by being too nervous, but Nari herself didn't feel that nervous.
In the dream, she was standing alone in the thick fog, wearing a red wedding dress, and a narrow loess path stretched forward under her feet.
Nari lifted her skirt slightly and found herself wearing a pair of dark red embroidered shoes. She looked at the road ahead, which led nowhere, and slowly walked forward.
Slowly, the thick fog thinned out, revealing more and more things: dry tree trunks, white lanterns hanging on dead branches, and white sails...
The road ended in front of a huge old house. There were two stone lions at the door. One had half of its head missing, and the other had one of its front paws missing.
Perhaps because she knew it was just a dream, Nari didn't feel scared. She stepped onto the steps in front of the door, reached out to grab the doorknob, and knocked three times on the large, old wooden door.
I knocked on the door three times and it opened.
With a creaking sound, she saw the scene inside. In the center of the square in front of the hall stood a well, the ground paved with patterned bluestone slabs, and the area near the well was covered with moss due to the moisture.
Inside the hall, the precious wooden chairs were twisted and distorted, spider webs became the masters of the place, the fruits that had been knocked over to the ground had rotted, and the broken pieces of porcelain plates were scattered all over the floor.
Compared with the side rooms and the lobby, there is no such thing as the most chaotic, only more chaotic.
