Chapter 9 was carried away (revised)

Putting the photo frame aside, he began to open several cabinets under the desk.

There weren't many things in the small cabinet. Qiongzhi wouldn't have looked at what was written on the white papers, but the title was really eye-catching.

What was written on those papers was nothing but Lillian's medical examination report.

One was a physical examination, and all her body functions were normal. The doctor determined that she was very healthy.

"This is different from what they said." Qiongzhi curled her lips. There was indeed something fishy about this.

In addition to the physical examination report, there was also a mental evaluation report, which determined that Lillian had no other mental problems except mild anxiety.

There was also a piece of paper that recorded in detail the entire conversation between Lillian and the psychologist.

The handwriting was a bit sloppy. Qiongzhi thought about it and decided that since there were so many pages in the two reports, it wouldn't be noticed if one was missing. So he simply ripped open the square neckline of his skirt and stuffed the paper in.

The waist of the skirt is very tight, so the paper is stuck there and won't fall down the hem of the skirt.

【6】

Is this okay?

[Let me dispel a rumor. We girls don't usually put things like this. This is a special case.]

[I'm dying of laughter. He just opened his collar and I thought he was scratching something.]

【Hahahahaha, this is so funny, I'm dying of laughter.】

Qiongzhi didn't expect that there would be so many discoveries in one cabinet. Hearing no movement outside, he looked at the cabinet below, but found nothing else.

It just so happened that he didn't want to stay in the study for too long, so he returned to Lillian's room with the paper on his chest.

He took two steps inside. He remembered that the light in the room seemed to be next to the bed. As a result, as he took these two steps, he kicked something.

Qiongzhi paused and stopped moving forward. He thought he was about to reach the right spot, so he reached out to touch the switch.

"Snap!" The light came on.

The white light dazzled his eyes, and when he looked down he saw Betty at his feet.

It seems that the person he just kicked was Betty.

"Why are you here?" Qiongzhi looked at the disheveled baby. He remembered clearly that he had put Betty on the bed.

After hesitating for a moment, he squatted down and prepared to pick up Betty. After all, this seemed to be Lillian's favorite doll.

As a result, at the moment when his hand grabbed Betty, a flash of lightning struck outside the window, followed by a "boom" and the lights in the room suddenly went out.

[Fuck!]

Ahhhh!

【Who turned off the lights! 】

【There is only one host in this room! 】

[It’s not me, I didn’t turn off the light, woo woo woo. ]

[I turned up the volume to the maximum and I almost died. Holy shit.]

[Before turning off the lights, I seemed to see something move! ]

[Really? Don’t scare me, ah ah ah]

[Wow, I'm going to switch to the third perspective, the first perspective is so scary.]

【I think the first-person perspective is more exciting. 】

At this moment, Qiongzhi was still squatting on the ground, holding Betty Doll tightly in her hands. His eyes had not yet adjusted to the darkness, so he did not dare to move rashly. At this moment, his heart was beating like a drum.

"whee……"

Suddenly, a short laugh sounded in the darkness, a little sharp, like the voice of a little girl.

"Who?" Qiongzhi looked around in panic. People always feel more insecure in the dark. Qiongzhi was in such a situation at this moment. He felt as if there was something around him.

He swallowed hard and tried to stand up.

"Hehe..." There was that laugh again. The next second, his skirt seemed to be pulled by someone, very hard, and he was pulled to the ground.

"Hiss—come out!" He felt a pain in his tailbone and took a breath.

"whee……"

Obviously, the other party had no intention of showing up, and even seemed to be laughing at his miserable appearance.

"Damn it!" Qiongzhi was both scared and angry. She was about to curse a few times to see if she could scare the other party away, but the next second she heard the sound of something breaking through the wind.

Although he couldn't see, his instinct made him raise his hands to protect his head.

"Bang!" The blow hit his arm hard. For a moment, the pain in his tailbone was no longer a concern. His whole body began to tremble because of the severe pain in his arm.

"Hehe...hehe..." She seemed even happier.

"Ah!" Before Qiongzhi could recover, he felt extreme pain in his scalp. Someone had grabbed his hair.

"Let go!" The man grabbed him with extra force, as if intending to pull his head off directly, causing him to fall backwards. No matter how hard he struggled, it was of no use.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Lillian's voice was too soft, and Qiongzhi's shouting had no deterrent effect at all, and even made the other party laugh even more happily.

She seemed to take pleasure in Qiongzhi's pain.

"What's wrong?! What's wrong?!"

Just when Qiongzhi was dragged to the ground and felt like she was about to die in pain, an anxious voice came from outside the door.

As the door opened, his hair was loosened in an instant. The light was turned on again, and Reed saw his daughter lying on the ground in a mess.

"Lillian!" He knelt down anxiously on the ground, first used his hands to push away the messy hair that was blocking the child's face, then picked her up and put her on the bed.

"Lillian?" Reed called softly. Qiongzhi panted slightly and called out hoarsely, "Dad."

His face looked really ugly, his lips were pale, his forehead was covered with sweat, his entire scalp was numb, and his arms were in excruciating pain.
