Chapter 2
After these words were spoken, both of them stopped what they were doing and looked at Shang Zhier. Because to them, this was just a job, and they wouldn't really become gay for this movie.
"You're not gay," Shang Zhi said, 21 words at a time, "so you can't empathize. Xiang Shui lives in a small city and can't find anyone like him, so he's desperate to meet people through social media. It's not that he wants to mess around, but he just wants to find someone like him because he's so lonely."
Yan Huai even had the illusion for a moment that Shang Zhier's first words were addressed to him, but the next second, Shang Zhier turned around and talked to He Xuan about the character Zhao Yan.
"Coincidentally, Zhao Yan happened to witness this scene." Shang Zhier continued, "Xiang Shui reminded him of his past self, so saving him was also saving his past self. However, Zhao Yan also had some bad intentions. After all, he had never come into contact with any good people since he was a child. So when he learned that Xiang Shui was gay, he kissed him out of curiosity."
Shang Zhier coughed. "But at this moment, there was absolutely no emotion between the two of them. Xiang Shui was angry and humiliated, while Zhao Yan was curious and contemptuous. In this scene, the two of them were literally eating each other out."
The assistant came running over, "Brother Yan, Brother He, please go to the dressing room to touch up your makeup. The director said filming will start in ten minutes."
"Okay, I'll be right there." Yan Huai stood up.
"Let's go touch up our makeup first." He Xuan called out, and he and Yan Huai left their place and walked into the dressing room.
Shang Zhier stared at the backs of the two men with a lonely look.
"Hey," He Xuan pulled Yan Huai to a corner, "What's your relationship?"
Yan Huai was a little confused: "Just a high school classmate."
He Xuan glanced at his face suspiciously: "Did you peel shrimp for him during the dinner party?"
"I just peeled it." Yan Huai said.
He Xuan wanted to say something, but the makeup artist had already started to touch up his makeup with foundation, so he had to shut up awkwardly.
Filming continues.
This time it went very smoothly. Both of them bit their lips and mouths, spit out blood, rinsed their mouths, and waited anxiously for the director to watch the playback to see if reshoots were needed.
Yan Huai squatted on the ground, wiping it bit by bit with a wet wipe. He Xuan's situation was even worse, he vomited while holding the trash can.
Assistant Yuan Meng asked with concern: "Brother Yan, how about I go buy some ice cubes?"
Yan Huai shook his head. It was almost eleven o'clock in the evening. He was a little worried about letting a little girl like Yuan Meng go to the convenience store to buy ice. Moreover, many stores were closed and it was not certain that ice could be bought there.
He folded the wet wipes in his hand a few times, and the ice pack suddenly appeared in front of him, still dangling, held by white and slender fingers, with a silver electronic watch on his wrist.
"Shang Zhier..." Yan Huai couldn't help but call him by his name, instead of calling him teacher or screenwriter.
"Well," Shang Zhier took the ice pack, wrapped it in a napkin, and put it on his lips, "Hold it yourself."
With so many people coming and going, it would be bad if we were photographed by paparazzi.
Yan Huai held an ice pack to reduce the swelling, and Shang Zhier also sat on the bench next to him.
"Have you had dinner?" Yan Huai asked casually.
"Not really hungry," Shang Zhier turned his head and coughed twice, "There's a delicious rice noodle shop nearby."
"I'll try it next time." Yan Huai took out the iron box from his bag and put it into Shang Zhier's hand. "Have you caught a cold? If your throat hurts, take some Jinsuozi and it will heal faster."
Shang Zhier was originally feeling frustrated because Yan Huai didn't accept the suggestion to have dinner together, but now he was excited about this box of Jinshengzi.
He has always been easy to satisfy and easy to coax.
He Xuan finished rinsing his mouth and walked over. "Director Lu said we've passed that one, so we're done. What are we having for dinner tonight?"
As he got closer, he realized the person next to him was Shang Zhier. He had no choice but to bite the bullet and continue asking, "Teacher Shang, have you eaten yet? Come with us."
"It's okay, you guys go." Shang Zhier held the golden throat in his throat, and his mouth felt cool.
Yan Huai waved his hand and said, "Let's go back to the hotel and order takeout. We might get photographed if we eat out."
"Okay." He Xuan took out his mobile phone and started placing an order.
The equipment at the venue was almost packed up. Yan Huai put on his bag and walked towards the car. Halfway there, he turned around and said, "Teacher Shang, is there a car to take you there?"
Shang Zhier glanced at He Xuan, who was following Yan Huai, and said in a hoarse voice, "Yes."
"Yan Huai."
"What's wrong?" Yan Huai stood by the car door waiting for him. He Xuan turned over and got into the car.
"Can you please not call me teacher from now on? Just call me Shang Zhier." Shang Zhier stared at his face in a daze through the glass lens.
He thought, you don't know how much I want to hear your voice, how much I want to hear your voice say my name, it's just three ordinary words, but...
"Okay, Shang Zhier." Yan Huai waved at him, bent down and squeezed into the car.
The car drove out of the area and headed towards the hotel. He Xuan unscrewed the thermos cup and said, "Shang Zhier is really scary."
"What's scary about it?" Yan Huai wondered.
He Xuan sighed, "He appears and disappears mysteriously, his face is as cold as ice, and he keeps people at a distance."
"You've read too many marketing accounts." Yan Huai couldn't help but defend him.
He Xuan drank some water and said, "There's not much information about him online. It's all just people praising his handsomeness. Don't you think Shang Zhier is a bit shady?"
"Not dark," Yan Huai thought for a moment, "but he is a bit reserved and flirtatious."
He Xuan spat out a mouthful of water and couldn't stop laughing.
Shang Zhier walked into a hot pot restaurant according to Tao Ningfa's location.
"Here!" Tao Ning waved at him, "Eat some of the cakes I bought on the way first, and then cook the meat and vegetables after the fire is turned on."
Shang Zhier took off his down jacket, revealing a black turtleneck sweater underneath. He wiped his hands with a wet towel and scooped out a piece of cake with a spoon. "Taro paste?"
"Yes, it's delicious, I waited in line for half an hour." Tao Ning opened a can of beer.
Shang Zhier nodded, "Very good."
Tao Ning used a serving chopstick to put vegetables and meat into the red soup pot. "Have you added me on WeChat?"
"I've added it." Shang Zhier rolled up his sleeves and helped put the shrimp paste in the hot pot.
"If Du Yang knew this, he'd probably be laughing his ass off right now," Tao Ning said with a sigh. "I've liked her for so many years, but I don't even have WeChat. No one would believe me if I told them."
Shang Zhier smiled and said, "Yeah, how is Du Yang doing lately?"
"He's got a new boyfriend, and he's quite handsome." Tao Ning buried his head in his meat. "Yan Huai is still single, right?"
Shang Zhier nodded.
"That's good," Tao Ning breathed a sigh of relief. "I almost thought you were going to be a mistress, but when I first heard about you two meeting, I was so excited that I forgot about it."
Shang Zhier really couldn't imagine what his situation and mentality would be like if Yan Huai had a partner.
"You have to be more proactive and let him understand your feelings. If he accepts, then be together. If he doesn't, then let go. It's that simple. Ten years, how many more decades do you have left?" Tao Ning said.
Everyone understands the principle, but putting it into practice is harder than climbing to the sky.
Shang Zhier changed the subject: "I'm playing a new game recently. Didn't you say you'd played it last time? I can't get past this level."
Tao Ning enthusiastically analyzed with him how to beat this level, and it was already two o'clock in the morning when they finished their meal.
"Be careful on the road and send a message when you get home." Shang Zhier took a picture of the license plate number and said goodbye to Tao Ning.
"I understand. Let's go back."
Shang Zhier walked out of the hotel elevator, opened the door with the room card, took a shower, lay on the bed in a bathrobe, and fell asleep.
The next day, Yan Huai was putting on makeup in the dressing room. He looked around and asked, "Shang Zhier didn't come today?"
"Teacher Shang seems to have a fever." The hairstylist adjusted his hairstyle.
"Is it serious?" Yan Huai asked.
The hairstylist said, "You'll be fine after taking the medicine for four or five days."
He Xuan bit into a waffle and suggested, "Let's go visit after work?"
"good."
The crew was ready and filming began, continuing from yesterday's scene.
Xiang Shui fell to the ground wailing, the stinging pain in his eyes made him struggle desperately. Zhao Yan saw that he was in so much pain and there was no way to stop him, so he went to a nearby supermarket and bought two bottles of mineral water.
"If you don't want to be blind, don't move!" Zhao Yan held down his moving hands and body.
Xiang Shui stopped, feeling uneasy as he could only rely on his hearing. He asked, "Who are you?"
Zhao Yan didn't answer. He bit open the bottle cap with his teeth, pressed the water against Xiang, and poured the water on his face, washing the pepper water off his skin.
The water went down Xiang Shui's nose and choked him. He pushed Zhao Yan away and spit into the garbage pile next to him.
He squatted on the ground and vomited violently, while Zhao Yan played Tetris beside him.
After rinsing his mouth with water, he took out a crumpled napkin from his pocket and wiped his face and eyes, gradually seeing the road and the ground clearly.
Exhausted, he sat down on the ground against the wall, "Are you a dog?"
Zhao Yan sneered: "I saved you, and you call me a dog?"
"Isn't it the dog that bites people?" Xiang Shui glanced at him indifferently.
Xiang Shui couldn't tell that it was a kiss just now. It was easier to tell that it was a bite than a kiss.
Not getting an answer, he picked up the schoolbag on the ground. Pens, papers, and textbooks were scattered all over the ground. Zhao Yan picked up a paper on the ground and stared at the number on it. The grade was pretty good.
"A good student is a homosexual?" Zhao Yan flipped through the test paper with relish.
Xiang Shui turned around immediately upon hearing the sound, snatched the test paper from his hand, and left this remote place silently.
Neighbors, relatives and friends all think he is a good kid with excellent grades and a well-behaved character. Only he himself knows how rotten and dark he is, and that he is a complete homosexual.
He disguised himself very well and tried hard to become a normal person and blend in with all kinds of passers-by and students, but he made a mistake today.
After the shoot, Lu Zheng said it was a pass. Yan Huai changed clothes without removing her makeup and rushed back to the hotel in a car.
Shang Zhier was lying on the sofa, staring at the TV series. It was a costume drama that Yan Huai had acted in before. He was still very young at that time and his acting skills were not very good, but the innocence and sincerity in his eyes made people feel moved.
The phone on the coffee table rang, and Shang Zhier picked it up and unlocked it.
--Shang Zhier, what's the room number?
Shang Zhier sent the room number and received a message from Tao Ning.
Tao Ning: How is the progress of the strategy?
Shang Zhier replied sincerely: We are already in the same room.
Tao Ning: Master.
There was a knock on the door, and Shang Zhier walked over to open it.
"Is it serious? I heard from the crew that you have a fever." Yan Huai closed the door with the bag and saw Shang Zhier looking pale and listless.
Shang Zhier coughed twice deliberately: "It's okay, it's just a fever caused by tonsillitis."
Yan Huai put the fruit and medicine on the table and was about to speak when his eyes were drawn to the TV.
He opened his eyes wide, stammered, and turned his head: "You...are you watching the TV series I starred in?"
