Chapter 80 Fengdu Secret Realm

Am I really going to be thoroughly outdone by this damn brat today?

Just as he hesitated, the auctioneer on the auction stage slowly raised his hand. Just as the hammer was about to fall and the deal be sold, a voice suddenly came from a distant corner: "I bid twenty million!"

"What!" Upon hearing this voice, everyone's faces showed surprise. They stared in disbelief at the source of the voice. It turned out that the speaker was neither Long Shi Hu nor Gu Dao, but a completely unfamiliar person.

The man was dressed in a black cloak, his face hidden behind a mask. Although cultivators had detection techniques and could sense the spiritual energy within his body, so hiding his face was useless, the man seemed to like dressing like this.

"Who are you?" Gu Dao frowned upon hearing this, stood up, and looked at the man in the black cloak. He was clearly very displeased that this man had suddenly demanded such a high price and then intercepted his items.

"Who I am is none of your business!" A sinister voice drifted out from the black cloak, giving him a disdainful glance.

"You dare to insult me!" Upon hearing this, Gu Dao's expression changed. No one in Qiankun City dared to disrespect Gu Dao. He wondered where this brat came from, daring to say such things to him.

"So what if I curse you? You're just a frog in a well, a vermin!" The man in the black cloak didn't take Gu Dao seriously at all and sneered.

"You're asking for it!" Gu Dao was furious. This guy had stolen his bid and dared to talk to him like that. How could he not be angry?

"I think you're the one courting death. A vermin like you could be crushed by my Yin Du Sect with ease. If you don't want to wake up tomorrow morning with not a single one of you alive, shut your mouth!"

The Insidious Poison Sect!

Upon hearing this name, everyone around gasped in shock, and Gu Dao's expression changed drastically as he froze.

"You...you're from the Yin Poison Sect?" Gu Dao suddenly became timid and stammered as he asked.

However, the man in the black cloak didn't respect Gu Dao at all, so he didn't answer him at all.

Seeing this, Gu Dao dared not say anything more. He slowly sat down, his face becoming extremely cautious and serious, his previous arrogant demeanor completely gone.

Guan Wen watched Gu Dao's transformation with great surprise. He had never imagined that this man in the black cloak would have such a background, being a member of the Yin Poison Sect. Moreover, the Yin Poison Sect seemed to be very powerful and influential; otherwise, Gu Dao wouldn't have acted this way. He had been incredibly arrogant towards Long Shi Hu before.

However, the man in the black cloak didn't say anything harsh, he just cursed him a couple of times and mentioned the name of the Yin Poison Sect. Judging from the appearance of his subordinate, it's clear just how powerful this so-called Yin Poison Sect really is.

He couldn't help but stroke his chin, becoming interested in the man in the black cloak. When he had just encountered the man in the black cloak, the man had completely disregarded the so-called Gu Dao and Long Shi Hu.

He had initially thought the other party was just a greenhorn, but seeing how the other party was spending money like water, asking for 20 million mid-grade spirit stones outright, and showing no concern for Gu Dao, he realized that this guy and the Yin Du Sect behind him must be extraordinary.

After this guy revealed his name, everyone else in the room fell silent, and no one dared to challenge him for the magical flying sword.

The auctioneer on the stage quickly brought down the gavel, selling the magic weapon component to the black-cloaked man from the Yin Du Sect.

After the magical flying sword was taken down, it quickly became the last item to be auctioned. However, when this last item was brought up, everyone felt quite strange, because the last item in an auction is usually the grand finale.

The most advertised magical flying sword at this auction had just been taken down. Now, what will be brought up next? Could it be that this item is even more precious than the magical flying sword?

Amidst the puzzled gazes of the crowd, the auctioneer slowly lifted the item from the jade tray. It was a rather ordinary parchment drawing, on which were drawn some rather obscure and difficult-to-understand images. Several pale purple chains, crackling with lightning, were depicted.

When these lightning chains are wrapped around it, no one can really see what is drawn on the drawing paper.

Only by removing these lightning chains can everyone see what's on them.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" The beautiful auctioneer picked up the parchment and slowly introduced it, "This is a map of the Fengdu Secret Realm. With this map, you can not only find the exact location of the Fengdu Secret Realm, but also directly obtain the qualification to enter the Fengdu Secret Realm!"

"Fengdu Secret Realm!" When the auctioneer uttered this name, a gasp of surprise rippled through the room.

"Is the Fengdu Secret Realm you mentioned the legendary secret realm that hides the treasures of cultivators at the Great Dao Realm?"

“That’s right!” The auctioneer nodded slowly.

"If this really is the Fengdu Secret Realm, do you know the value of this map? How could your Wanbao Pavilion possibly put such a treasure up for public auction!"
