"What did you say?" Ye Ling was startled when she heard him say that, and stood up from her seat like a mouse that had stepped on a trap.
"Don't be so arrogant. Judging from your appearance, you're probably a student from a team that came here to participate in the competition. Otherwise, you wouldn't have made it to a place like this. What right do you have to mock me?"
"You're being too sensitive. I wasn't mocking you at all; I was just stating a fact."
"Heh, since you say it's true that I'm scared, then why did you come to this deserted place? Is it because you're brave?"
“Brave?” Guan Wen frowned, then stood up abruptly. “What does bravery have to do with it? I’m just bored. Does participating in this kind of competition require unparalleled courage?”
Ye Ling was speechless. These words made it seem as if she regarded the competition as a trivial matter.
This guy is so arrogant!
Although she was already feeling uncomfortable, Ye Ling had no intention of leaving. In her view, Guan Wen was clearly one of the students who had chosen to participate in the competition, and since he was a student, he posed no great threat to her. As for arguing, she wasn't afraid of him; if he really angered her, she could easily give him a good beating.

“Of course it’s none of my business,” Guan Wen said with a sly smile. “But I’m doing this for your own good. If a captain is incompetent, it can affect the overall situation.”
"You said I'm incompetent!" Ye Ling was immediately annoyed upon hearing this. Did this guy really want to get beaten up?
"I'm just stating a fact."
"Go to hell, you damned pervert, you dare to lecture me!"
