The hall was quiet, and apart from the waiters and a few chefs at the counter, there were only Shen Ci and Julie in the entire space.
When Qiu Keying called out, the two instinctively turned their heads to look, and the waiter immediately went to greet them.
"What's wrong with you guys?" Qiu Keying looked at the waiter with displeasure. "I called several times but no one answered."
The waiter smiled and patiently explained, "I'm sorry, but according to regulations, our staff cannot get too close to the guests' private dining rooms to ensure their privacy. There is a service bell on the table in the private room; you can ask us to press it."
Qiu Keying pouted and impatiently reached out her hand: "This thing? It doesn't react at all!"

Shen Ci scooped out a spoonful of sea urchin and popped it into her mouth, explaining without any hesitation, "My ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend."
“No wonder.” Julie looked relieved; no wonder the atmosphere was so tense.
Shen Cicai wouldn't let this silly girl affect his dining experience and continued to enjoy his meal.
Qiu Keying, on the other hand, appeared smug and arrogant on the surface, but as soon as she turned around, she was so angry that her nostrils were flaring, and she stormed back to the private room.
Seeing her expression was off, Li Xiao couldn't help but ask with concern, "What's wrong, Keying? Did the waiter upset you?"
"It's a minor issue. The waiter has already replaced the battery. There's no need to be angry."
"Of course I wasn't angry with the waiter!" Qiu Keying pouted. "Do you know who I just saw outside?"
Looking at her, Li Xiao immediately pictured her in his mind and blurted out, "Chen Ci?"
"How did you know?" Qiu Keying asked, slightly surprised.
Li Xiao smiled nonchalantly: "There aren't many people who can make you this angry. She's eating Japanese food too?"
Qiu Keying nodded.
Li Xiao was instantly lost in memories. He remembered that Shen Ci loved Japanese food, and he had taken her there the first time. She said that Japanese food was too expensive and she had never been able to afford it.
I can still vividly recall the look of amazement on her face when she took her first bite of salmon; it all seems like it happened yesterday.
But now, thinking back, he could no longer discern which of Shen Ci's words were true, or which of her expressions were genuine. It was as if he had never known her at all.
"It's quite funny, though. She and her friend were sitting alone at the counter in the lobby eating. I guess they weren't high enough in terms of status to get a private room." Qiu Keying didn't notice Li Xiao's expression and was still fuming.
Li Xiao snapped out of her daze and gently comforted her, "Don't take it to heart. Let's just eat our own food. Anyway, we can't see them from our private room."
Qiu Keying then smiled slightly: "Then eat more, the quality of this sashimi really looks great."
About an hour and a half later, the two finished their meal and came out of the private room.
"Ms. Qiu, have you finished your meal? Are you satisfied with today's dishes? If there's anything you'd like to improve, please let us know and we'll make improvements." The waiter immediately brought over their shoes and inquired about their dining experience.
Qiu Keying said casually, "It's alright. The sashimi is of good quality, but the tatami cushions are a bit hard. My butt hurts after sitting for a long time. I can bring two softer cushions. Everything else is fine."
"Okay, we will record your feedback and look forward to your next visit."
Even after leaving the lobby, you still have to pass through it. Shen Ci and Julie haven't finished eating yet, mainly because they eat slowly and keep chatting.

Qiu Keying stopped and turned around: "What's wrong?"
The waiter glanced at Li Xiao next to Qiu Keying before saying, "Excuse me, Ms. Qiu, this meal requires you to pay on the spot."
"Pay on the spot? You can just deduct it from my card. I still have a few dozen yuan left in my card, right?"
After saying that, Qiu Keying lifted her foot to leave, but was stopped by the waiter once again.
