Just before leaving, Liu Kai clearly heard him muttering to himself in a low voice.

The man had a calm face with few wrinkles, and he looked to be under 40.
The two bars and two stars on his collar indicated that he was Zhong Linyu, the newly appointed staff officer who had taken over Fenghai.
The man strode to the front of the helicopter.
A polite smile flickered across his face before he reverted to his serious expression.
Zhong Linyu seems to value rules very much.
Even though the weather was quite cold, he still took off his thick thermal gloves after giving a salute.
He extended his right hand: "Hello, Consultant Liu. It's great to see you in person. I am Zhong Linyu."
Liu Kai followed suit, a smile appearing on his face as well.
He took Zhong Linyu's right hand with both hands: "Officer Zhong, nice to meet you."
"Let's go inside and talk. Captain Yu, you can go ahead and get back to work."
"yes!"
Yu Dalong responded and then secretly winked at Liu Kai.
It seemed to be a signal for him not to say something he shouldn't.
