Chapter 303 Ghost Restaurant

Luo Bin suddenly felt a little confused: "Something's not right! It took us 10 people several hours, and there are about a hundred people in the park."

What if someone is already there and misses out on other attractions, or can't even get a turn at all?

After determining the direction, Xiao Jin slowly walked forward: "The rules of the amusement park will not make way for the players. Since we did not plan our time properly, if we miss it, we miss it."

"Hiss~" Luo Bin gasped, seemingly lost in thought: "Looks like things are going to get messy later on!"

However, just as chaos erupted in front of the haunted house, a furtive figure suddenly appeared at the other entrance.

Ding Zhao looked delighted; he was finally free.

After separating from Cui Mingyang and the other two, he hid in a room by himself. While Xiao Jin was fighting the two ghosts, he watched from the sidelines without even thinking of helping.

Ding Zhao thought he wouldn't be able to get out, but he didn't expect those four people to be so strong. They even cracked the mystery of the medical record and successfully left the sanatorium.

Thanks to Cui Mingyang's help, Ding Zhao's medical records were also burned along with the files.

This also saved him from being chased by the ghost doctor and the head nurse. Moreover, now that everyone's attention was drawn to Xiao Jin and his group of four, he could take this opportunity to run away.

………………

Before long, the four of them arrived in front of the restaurant.

Fortunately, the line in front of the restaurant wasn't too long at the moment; they hadn't arrived early, but they weren't late either.

Looking ahead, the restaurant is at the end of the cobblestone street, a delicate two-story building that seems to have stepped out of an old fairy tale, standing quietly in a corner of the street.

The first floor is the lobby, brightly lit, with warm light shining through the half-open windows onto the stone path, inviting every passerby.

The second floor, however, does not appear to be completely enclosed, but rather in a semi-open format, with distinctive tables and chairs inside.

Xiao Jin and the others looked up and could only vaguely see the exquisite ornaments and the sunshade above that swayed gently in the wind.

The signboard reads "Ghost Restaurant," with four large characters in an almost eerie font hanging directly in front of the restaurant. The black interior is tinged with a hint of blood, sending chills down one's spine at first glance.

Just as Xiao Jin was observing, a familiar figure quietly appeared at the edge of her line of sight.

Xu Qing smiled and said, "I knew you could pass smoothly once you arrived. How was it? Did you get out safely?"

Cui Mingyang and the other two looked puzzled. Who was this person? Was he someone Ying knew?

Xiao Jin nodded slightly: "Not a threat. You were blocked too?"

"You bet these people really know how to seize any opportunity." Xu Qing chuckled. "Before I came out, I made sure I didn't open the door right away, just in case they wanted to catch me off guard."

Players who have experienced the same project can talk about it without having to hold back.

What is this, just filling in the gaps?

However, Xiao Jin still talked with Xu Qing and learned that their storyline was basically the same as hers.

The casualties on both sides were mainly due to the ghost doctor, the head nurse, and the little boy. To get the key to the fourth floor, all you need to do is avoid alerting the 'director'.

Just like Luo Bin back then, he had so many methods!

As they chatted, they lined up at the restaurant entrance. Xiao Jin also explained to Xu Qing in the private chat channel that he should just call her 'Shadow'.

Upon hearing this, Xu Qing immediately understood.

However, after hearing Luo Bin's description, Xiao Jin felt that there were still many secrets in the sanatorium, including those of the director, that they had not yet discovered.

This haunted house project feels very out of place...

The bright sun, like molten gold, hung high in the azure sky, mercilessly pouring down its scorching rays, baking the earth to a boiling point.

Inside the park, the surrounding players were already exhausted.

There was no other way; everyone had been up all morning, and they were exhausted, thirsty, and hungry, not to mention they had to stand here in the sun.

Those with food in their backpacks are okay, but those without have to tough it out. The worst off are those who are injured and haven't received their badges yet.

This is truly devastating. I wonder if they'll be able to gather enough people to leave before 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The players licked their dry lips and looked towards the restaurant.

This is the only place in the park with food, and although they know that the food here is not easy to get, there's nothing they can do about it.

Driven by hunger, the players had no choice but to take a gamble!

Finally, it was eleven o'clock.

The next second, with a creak, the restaurant door slowly opened, and an unknown chill mixed with a strange fragrance wafted out, making everyone shiver.

Players temporarily put aside all hesitation and fear and eagerly rushed into the gate.

Xiao Jin was forced into the restaurant, but when they stood still, she was surprised to find something.

From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look very big, but with so many players suddenly flooding in, it doesn't feel crowded at all.

Xiao Jin looked around.

As the guide already states, the 'Ghost Restaurant' has specific opening hours, and missing those hours means you've missed the restaurant's attractions.

So by 11 o'clock, any player who has time will definitely come.

While queuing, Xiao Jin checked and found that there were 55 people queuing in front of the restaurant, 45 fewer than expected. There were only two possibilities for why these people didn't come.

The first possibility is that he died; the second possibility is that he was stuck on a project or is on his way to it.

With that calculation, the mortality rate is about 50%, this dungeon is truly full of pitfalls.
