Everyone naturally knew about this.
Soon, they easily pulled out all the nails from the formation, cut the black lines, and burned the dolls.
When all this was done, the task of destroying the magic circle on their information panel changed to (1/3).
Meanwhile, in room 306.
The dim candlelight flickered in the stillness, casting dappled shadows. Standing in the center of the study, Xiao Xin's shadow was elongated, like a sculpture bound by an ancient spell.
The magic circle was beneath her feet.
A sense of oppression and tension filled the air. On the opposite side of the magic circle, Teacher Feng knelt in an extremely unnatural posture, her head lowered and her long hair covering half of her face.
Upon closer inspection, her body showed no signs of breathing, resembling a lifeless puppet.
The surroundings were so quiet that only the occasional sound of wind outside the window and the subtle energy fluctuations within the magic array could be heard, sending a chill down one's spine.
After an unknown amount of time, Xiao Xin finally made a move within the magic circle.
When she fully raised her head, her eyes were pitch black, so deep they seemed to devour all light, without a trace of white, only endless darkness and tyranny surging within them, as if they were about to burn the entire world to ashes.
"Hehe~ It's done~"
After a long while, Xiao Xin's lips curled into a sinister smile. His voice was low and hoarse, carrying an indescribable eeriness and excitement.
She raised the arm that she had once lost but was now 'completely unharmed', and looked at it with apparent appreciation.
But she never expected that her happiness would be so short-lived.
Just as the magic circle on the rooftop was activated, Teacher Feng's face froze instantly, like a lake suddenly freezing over in winter.
Her eyes widened suddenly, her lips trembled slightly, and she blurted out, "How is this possible... Who tampered with my magic circle?" Her voice was filled with disbelief, and even a hint of fear.
At that moment, Xiao Jin above accurately cut the black thread binding the yarn doll.
The moment the black line broke, the operation of the magic circle seemed to come to a standstill.
A violent shaking erupted in the study of room 306, as if an earthquake had struck. The bookshelves on the walls began to topple over like dominoes, with heavy books falling to the ground with a deafening roar, raising a cloud of dust.
Xiao Xin screamed and instinctively covered her head with both hands. The black light that had been raging in her eyes miraculously receded at this moment, revealing a look of confusion and pain.
"Uh..." she groaned softly, her body trembling violently, as if she were waging a fierce struggle against some invisible force.
Her legs could no longer support her swaying body; she stumbled and fell forward, crashing heavily to the ground.
Immediately afterwards, Xiao Xin's expression changed.
"Get out!" Taking advantage of this opportunity, the real Xiao Xin, who had been suppressed inside her body, tried to regain control of her body.
It turns out that Teacher Feng did not kill Xiao Xin, but used another method to temporarily occupy Xiao Xin's body.
It's true that Ms. Feng herself was unwilling; she really liked her original body. If it weren't for the inconvenience caused by losing an arm, she definitely wouldn't have had it replaced.
But who knew that a single wrong decision would bring her such a huge hidden danger.
"Get out of here!" Xiao Xin roared, still rummaging through her backpack for props as she struggled.
However, she didn't know what to do in this situation! This body belonged to Xiao Xin herself, so she couldn't hurt it, much less kill it.
For a moment, Xiao Xin could only desperately struggle in her mind, trying to gain the upper hand.
"Heh~ Let me get lost." Black energy filled her eyes again, and Xiao Xin's voice was full of sarcasm.
"You think you can win? Don't dream." As she spoke, she bit her finger, drew on the ground with her fingertip, and muttered something under her breath.
The effect was immediate.
A dazzling light suddenly burst forth from the center of the magic circle, as if power was being injected into it again. The shaking in the room gradually subsided until it returned to stillness.
Xiao Xin's consciousness, under the impact of this force, flickered and was about to be extinguished, like a candle flame in a storm.
She tried her best to break free, but the force was like an invisible shackle, binding her tightly and gradually devouring her will.
In the end, the faint light that belonged to Xiao Xin herself dimmed and was completely suppressed within her body.
At the same time, Teacher Feng stood up from the ground and vigorously patted the dust off her body.
But the contrast between her black and white eyes when she looked up suggested that her actions had not gone so smoothly.
After dealing with the body, Teacher Feng's eyes suddenly turned sharp and sinister.
She slowly raised her head, her gaze piercing through the roof: "Just wait, none of you will escape." Teacher Feng's voice was low and threatening.
Before she finished speaking, her body suddenly began to twist, eventually turning into a cloud of black smoke that quickly spread out until it completely disappeared into the air.
The study returned to calm, but a tense and oppressive atmosphere still lingered in the air, as if a new storm could sweep in at any moment.
………………
Now that both sides have revealed their true intentions, Xiao Jin and the others had just come down from the rooftop when a large group of vengeful ghosts attacked them like a tidal wave.
Each of them was twisted in a grotesque manner, their eyes burning with venomous fire, densely covering the field of vision, as if trying to squeeze this small space to the point of collapse.
"Damn, I knew there would be a lot, but I didn't expect it to be this much." Chen Mingchuan's breath hitched, and he felt a chill run down his spine.
The chains on Tong Xiaolu's palm appeared out of thin air: "You're about to destroy their lair, do you expect me to serve you good food and drink!"
