Outside the car window, the howls of zombie dogs rose and fell.
Liu Xin's heart was pounding in her chest. She took a deep breath, swallowed, and then kept reassuring herself.
Duan Ziyue looked at her mother with a series of question marks on her forehead. What was she doing?
Then, Liu Xin mustered her courage and, with trembling hands, slowly opened the car window a crack. A strong wind blew in, carrying the stench of zombie dogs and the heat of midsummer.

"My goodness, you told me you played shot put in school? I thought you were kidding me!" Duan Ziyue shuddered, and Liu Xin looked completely bewildered.
She really didn't expect her aim to be so good; she hit the target!
The joy had just appeared on Liu Xin's face when her expression froze.
Although the aim was good, this level of attack was not enough to kill the zombie dog. Instead, the zombie dog was attracted by Liu Xin's attack.
The level 3 zombie dog at the front opened its mouth again, its intense fire-based power poised to be unleashed.
"Get away from the window," Xiao Jin reminded him.
Upon hearing this, Liu Xin reflexively grabbed the two children and pulled them together toward the other side of the car door.
The next second, flames shot out.
