Black eats black eats black

Xia Ning and Ji Li decided to settle down temporarily in the staff lounge of the food court on the basement floor.

Xia Ning moved the plants out of the space again, and the two of them drank a vial of [Basic Antidote]. At first glance, the radiation did not seem to have a significant impact.

Just as Xia Ning was about to take out the folding bed, her younger sister suddenly ran to the door and made two "squeak" sounds.

Ji Li frowned and took out a prop from her backpack. It looked like a megaphone they used to play with when they were kids, with two paper cups tied to it by a thin string.

Ji Li stuck the rim of one of the paper cups to the iron gate and placed the other paper cup next to her ear.

Xia Ning quickly moved closer to listen.

Male voice A: "Are you sure he drove here?"

Male voice B: "I'm sure, the older brother drives a motorhome, so he must have a lot of supplies."

Male voice C: "Wow, they're driving a campervan and they're even trying to steal our resource boxes. How shameless!"

Male voice A: "Shh, keep your voice down, don't let anyone hear us."

Xia Ning and Ji Li exchanged glances, realizing that their sister had indeed been targeted the time she turned into an owl.

A short while later.

Male voice C: "Wild dog corpse! That person is indeed here!"

Male voice B: "Can't we just blow up this building?"

Male voice A: "Idiot, don't you want the supplies anymore?"

Xia Ning gestured to Ji Li, suggesting they should make the first move.

Just as Ji Li nodded, a sudden change occurred, and the men let out terrified screams.

"Run!"

What's going on?

Xia Ning and Ji Li were even more vigilant than before.

After several rounds of the game, to still be this scared is definitely not simple.

Soon, Xia Ning understood why they were shouting.

Because her younger sister suddenly transformed into a Samoyed, she bumped into Xia Ning's stomach, knocking her to the ground.

Before Xia Ning could recover, Ji Li dragged her outside again.

Where she had been standing, a deep scratch remained, and a lock of Ji Li's hair had been cut off.

A huge branch, resembling a spider's foreleg, pierced through the thick ceiling.

Lime and stones kept falling from above.

Six red dots flashed in the darkness.

There is more than one monster.

Ji Li and Xia Ning fled from the lounge and ran down the corridor. The glass windows of the surrounding shops were shattered, and a faint smell of blood filled the air.

Before them stood a two-meter-tall alien, its two forelimbs piercing a man's chest and lifting him high into the air.

The player's sense of pain was blocked, and he was unaware that half of his body had been eaten. Covered in blood, he silently cried for help to Xia Ning and the others.

Help me.

It's beyond saving.

They won't save him.

Xia Ning and Ji Li would never forget that just minutes before, this man had suggested blowing them up and looting their supplies.

However, the scene before us is still terrifying.

This player clearly had healing items; his death time was constantly being extended, and the healing items were being consumed.

He felt no pain, but the joints of his limbs had been broken, making it impossible for him to resist.

Xia Ning, suppressing her nausea, ran wildly down the stairwell with Ji Li. She couldn't die like this.

Behind them, more and more mutated animals emerged.

Most of them resemble cockroaches, ranging in length from one to five meters.

This is Xia Ning's biggest nightmare.

The white walls were covered by giant black insects, which appeared in a dense, surging tide.

Xia Ning's skin crawled with goosebumps, and her scalp tingled. Even the misty town hadn't caused her such mental distress.

Damn it, these cockroaches can even fly!

Xia Ning watched as a large cockroach with flapping wings darted out from around the corner. Her older sister, Ji Li, sprayed out a mixture of 99-degree soup and her poison, just like acid rain outside. The cockroach, which was about to fly, was half-corroded and fell to the ground, turning into a foul-smelling liquid.

There are cockroaches inside the building, and acid rain outside.

Before Xia Ning and Ji Li could make a choice, a fire dragon shot out of the building with a bang.

They tore apart the man's two companions, no longer caring about supplies, and went straight for blowing up the building.

This explosion destroyed one of Xia Ning's and her group's escape routes.

The building collapsed rapidly, and thick smoke mixed with the smell of gunpowder filled the air.

Ji Li's expression changed drastically, and she immediately sprayed water with her right hand, wetting the cuffs of both of their sleeves. They quickly covered their mouths and noses with their wet sleeves and bent over as they moved forward.

At the fire scene, most of the victims died from smoke inhalation.

My younger sister led the way.

The underground parking lot was obviously no longer an option; these mutated insects had clearly crawled up from underground.

They rushed to the front door on the first floor, and Xia Ning immediately took out an armored vehicle from her spatial storage.

After leaping into the car, Xia Ning took out a [Stun Grenade] from her spatial storage and threw it behind her. Then, she decisively closed the car door and floored the accelerator.

The stun grenade scared away the insects that followed, and the flying cockroaches were instantly crushed under the collapsed ruins.

Meanwhile, Xia Ning's armored vehicle kept making hissing sounds in the acid rain.

This is just an ordinary armored vehicle, without any additional defense from the system. Xia Ning guessed that it could only last for ten minutes. In other words, they had to find a new building base within ten minutes.

—Sizzle!

The rear door of the armored vehicle made a piercing sound as a mutated insect chased after it, its limbs tearing through the rear compartment.

Xia Ning finished it off with a [Reinforced Crossbow Bolt].

The alien fell to the acid rain and melted into a pool of black water.

Her armored vehicle was also about to give out.

Before the armor was completely corroded by acid rain or the tires were ruined, Xia Ning saw the doors of the stadium open.
