Day 12 of rafting

Xia Ning didn't want to get entangled by the octopus. Once its suckers stuck, it was hard to pull it off, and the octopus had three hearts!

Its visual impact is secondary compared to its troublesome nature.

Xia Ning is afraid of bugs and ghosts, so the ugly giant octopus has to come last.

She multitasked, maneuvering the ark to dodge the tentacles' attacks while simultaneously firing crossbow bolts whenever she could find an opening.

As it turns out, as long as the quantity is sufficient, the "Antidote to Decay" is equally effective against sea monsters that are over ten meters long.

After using up the 9 regular crossbow bolts that could be obtained in a day, Xia Ning sprinkled [Turbid Nutrient Solution x3] and [Rotten Antidote x6] on the crossbow.

The giant octopus visibly slowed down; normally, these marine creatures are incredibly agile and swift in the ocean.

Xia Ning didn't use the skill [Ancient Awakening], but directly pulled out three [Enhanced Crossbow Bolts] from her backpack.

Although she longed to be as dashing as a movie heroine, shooting an arrow straight to the heart, unfortunately, she wasn't equipped with X-ray vision or automatic tracking skills, so she simply shot at two enormous eyes and a mouth full of fangs.

The arrow pierced the air and flew away.

The tentacles that slashed horizontally were severed by Xia Ning's [Greatsword].

With a muffled thud, a terrifying tentacle landed on the deck, writhing like a python.

The younger sister tried to bite it, but Xia Ning stopped her.

"shut up!"

The younger sister slammed on the brakes, and immediately the still-active tentacles that had detached from the main body bounced and wrapped around the ship's pillar.

Xia Ning could even hear the sound of the suction cups rubbing against the wooden pillar.

The little sister's beady eyes widened, and she shrank back, immediately running behind Xia Ning.

Xia Ning said, "Let's see if you dare to bite randomly again in the future."

After speaking, she once again drew her bow and arrow, and before the octopus could expel its ink, she ended its life with a single arrow.
