Welcome to the Survival Match: Crisis Mode - The Oxygen-Free Prison.
[World Setting: This is a technologically advanced human world. 852 years ago, an alien civilization invaded, and humanity fought back tenaciously. The alien civilization used advanced technology to destroy the world's oxygen, leading to humanity's defeat and forced them to hide underground, leaving their home completely lost. The oxygen-deprived predicament drove humanity to despair and struggle. Later, under the guidance of a civilization's leader, they acquired oxygen-generating technology, achieving the current situation of a long-term confrontation with the alien civilization.]
[Match Information: All survivors start as "Humans," all with the status of underground refugees. Their faction cannot be changed to "Alien Civilization."]
[Escape Mechanism]: Complete the escape mission to unlock the escape location.
[Escape Mission - Oxygen Deprivation]: Submit at least 10 "Oxygen Cores" to any underground human faction to obtain a restricted escape location known only to your squad.
[Escape Mission - Save Friends]: Save at least 100 Civilization Guides and bring them into the underground human area to be considered a successful rescue. All survivors in the current area will know the regular escape location; survivors in the same area will share the rescue progress.
[Escape Mission - Counterattack Horn]: Accumulate 100 kills of alien civilization units of rank S or higher, and destroy an alien civilization base with a scale of at least 100,000 units. Survivors who participate in the battle have a 10% chance of obtaining the "Escape at Any Time" privilege.
[Escape at any time]: Within one year of obtaining this permission, you can escape the current game anytime, anywhere, regardless of any conditions. This is considered a successful escape.
[Hard mode is now active; only matchmaking with survivors who have also activated this mode.]
......
With Su Lin regaining consciousness, everyone has entered a new escape game.
Everyone immediately checked the information prompt in front of Su Lin. Xiao Linlin was the first to raise an eyebrow: "An oxygen shortage crisis? Interesting. The mission of rescuing friends is probably the common escape option for all survivors."
Of the three escape missions, only the second one is the most eye-catching.
Especially for weaker survivors, as long as they survive long enough, they can get carried by experienced players in the same match.
After glancing around, Su Lin did not offer any opinion, but instead turned his gaze to look around.
The team is currently in a completely dark environment, seemingly a deep tunnel with no light.
Due to the protection and barriers of the safe space, Su Lin is not yet able to use spiritual energy and technological means to view the surrounding environment, but he can basically ensure that there is no danger around.
The system doesn't currently have a rule of directly throwing survivors into dangerous areas; the starting position will remain safe for at least a period of time.
"Here, take them all."
Xiao Linlin's voice rang out, and Su Lin looked over to see her distributing technological equipment to her followers, which was a specially made helmet-style protective gear.
Although it's only rated A, it boasts a variety of technological features such as shrinking oxygen cylinders, wireless communication, gas protection, night vision, and thermal imaging, making it a multi-functional tactical item.
"Hey, where did you get so much stuff?"
Jia Zhengyi was very surprised. He clearly had the Wange backpack on his back, so where did this little girl pull out so many new gadgets from?
"Hey, something's not right!"
Jia Zhengyi took the technology helmet, but before he could put it on, he discovered that the Wanger backpack he had brought in was completely empty!
There's nothing here, not even any combat supplies!
This is completely out of character for Su Lin; the boss is very willing to spend money on battles!
"Linlin, you've made a huge mistake! You left the war supplies in the dormitory!"
Jia Zhengyi's expression was serious; this was no joke.
Su Lin has chosen the path of self-taught cultivation, so the short-term help from these external tools and items is extremely important. Even a slight deficiency could affect the outcome of the game, let alone now that his backpack is completely empty.
"How could I make such a small mistake?"
Xiao Linlin rolled her eyes: "You're the most careless one. Don't you know that your brother's warehouse has been upgraded to level 10? One of the effects of level 10 is that you can freely open the dormitory warehouse during the game."
"However, you can't store things, and you have to pay to retrieve them. Each item will cost 1,000 resource coins as a handling fee, and retrieving S-grade or higher items will cost one percent of the corresponding price."
"Once something is taken out, it cannot be put back in."
While distributing the supplies, Xiao Linlin explained, "Although there are many limitations, it is still very useful overall. The reason we came in with empty backpacks is because we need to consider the possibility of a failed escape."
"No matter what the circumstances, we must prepare for the worst."
"Before entering a match, I bought match insurance with a million resource coins. I will buy it every time before a match, as long as I have enough money."
“In this way, even if the escape fails, our followers will still have their resurrection count; and the items on my brother's body are already bound to his account, so the insurance will ensure that he is not penalized by asset deduction.”
Xiao Linlin patiently explained. She wasn't as carefree as Jia Zhengyi, nor as confident as Su Lin. She was like a little housekeeper, constantly planning all the consequences and the future for this team.
She tries her best to take care of everything, whether it's good or bad.
"So, we'll just bring an empty bag in. If we fail, the worst that can happen is we'll just lose the bag?"
Jia Zhengyi couldn't help but chuckle: "Damn, this is really a bit of a cheat! We're naturally in an invincible position now!"
"No, I can't even lose my backpack."
Xiao Linlin shrugged: "My brother used his talent to bind this backpack, but if the supplies he finds in a new game aren't high-level enough, he'll lose it."
