The host was still shouting wildly when, as his voice exploded, the iron gate reopened, and a dark figure floated out from inside, as swift as the wind.
The shadowy figure was about two people tall, but slender and thin, and disappeared into the ground the moment it appeared.
It seemed to be afraid of light, and had no physical form. It crawled and twisted along the ground, like flowing water constantly approaching Sulin.

A notification appeared before my eyes; it was still an S-class creature.
It seems the game mechanics are intentionally controlling the level of enemies, so that survivors who have lost everything don't face monsters that are too powerful.

Su Lin remained silent, neither looking at the information prompts in front of him nor at the approaching spiritual enemy.
