Chapter 29 Big Brother, maybe I should just die?

Su Lin slowly opened his eyes and glanced at Wang Dalu indifferently.

Without saying a word, he instantly shattered Wang Dalu's newly mustered courage.

This kid originally wanted to use new game analysis to gain Su Lin's attention, even if it wasn't to be on equal footing, he should at least get some more favor and care.

But the moment Su Lin opened his eyes and met his gaze, Wang Dalu couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine.

Wang Dalu nervously looked away, unsure of his older brother's temperament.

But since my older brother didn't refuse, it should be okay to say so, right?

"I was just thinking that if Big Brother wants to clear the map, he must be thinking about taking all the profits from it."

Wang Dalu paused, swallowed, and seeing that Su Lin's expression didn't change significantly, he mustered his courage and continued, "Well... so in that case, Big Brother must not want others to take away his interests, right?"

Wang Dalu asked cautiously, and he finally saw Su Lin slowly nod: "Mm."

Ah, you've finally spoken!

Your silence is putting a lot of pressure on people!

Wang Dalu breathed a sigh of relief, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, and gave a dry laugh: "Brother, under normal circumstances, we actually can't take 100% of the benefits of the entire map."

"There are 200 teams of survivors here. If you include solo players and those who have died, the number of survivors is guaranteed to be between 400 and 500, or even more."

"Among so many survivors, what if a few guys emerge who are as strong as Big Brother... Even if they aren't as strong as Big Brother, as long as they can still kill the testers, then Big Brother won't be able to reap all the benefits."

Wang Dalu looked at Su Lin, who nodded calmly: "Do you think I can't keep all the welfare benefits for myself?"

"Yes, it's difficult, and I believe my brother is mentally prepared."

Wang Dalu nodded, his tone much more normal, no longer so afraid, and he had entered a state of high-speed thinking: "Because of the rule of changing floors every day, we can foresee that anyone can make a plan that is more advantageous to themselves based on the situation of the previous day."

"Although we don't know yet whether changing floors is random or self-selected, at least one thing is clear: there must be survivors with similar ideas to the older brother, who also aim to kill the testers and collect the minimum reward!"

"As long as there are players above the eldest brother, there is a chance that his welfare benefits will be taken away."

As soon as Wang Dalu finished speaking, Su Lin couldn't help but frown: "Are you talking nonsense to me?"

These are rules that everyone can understand, but any ambitious player knows that no matter which level they move to, they can't possibly monopolize all the minimum rewards.

Su Lin herself was prepared and ate as much as she could.

"Brother...this is obvious. Since I've raised the question, of course I have a solution."

Wang Dalu panicked and quickly explained, "There's another factor: random roommate matching! Don't forget, not every floor is as harmonious as ours!"

"Just like those unlucky guys on the fifth floor upstairs, their deaths may not have been entirely due to the testers; they may have already fought each other before the testers even appeared."

"This escape world is very complex. Factors that can affect the outcome include the two teams fighting in the locked room, the threat from the challengers, and the impact of changing floors and roommates. The uncertainty is extremely high."

"In this situation, the only optimal solution to maximize individual gain is to release the test-takers for two consecutive days! At least the two strongest test-takers must be released!"

Wang Dalu dared not remain silent any longer and quickly offered his solution: "Try to get the testers past our floor and onto other floors! Let them kill more escape players! This will reduce both uncertainty and competition."

"If you refuse to let go, then your very existence is a 'barrier,' a terrifying presence even more like a boss than the test taker. Any floor you appear on is a place the test taker will find difficult to pass."

"Your existence is actually protecting the other players in a roundabout way. Although they don't gain anything, they also don't face a greater threat of death. And the fact that they don't die will prevent the big brother from taking their supplies."

"Big Brother only needs to release the challenger and let it kill the other weaker players. Then only the powerful players will remain. Although they may have the same strength as Big Brother to kill the challenger, their numbers will definitely be small!"

"Based on this... all the big brother needs to do is randomly match new roommates starting on the third day, and kill both the roommates and the test takers together. In theory, this will speed up the elimination of competitors."

Wang Dalu was getting thirsty, but he still didn't dare to slack off and quickly stated his opinion: "Even if the strongest challenger is voted to the 100th floor and starts to rise and fall, Big Brother can still easily defeat a team of players and the other two challengers."

"And as time goes by, as long as the eldest brother is strong enough, he will definitely be able to kill all the test takers."

"Because the conditions for this escape are very harsh: you have to survive for ten days; and as long as Big Brother exists, as long as Big Brother still wants to kill, no one can survive for ten days!"

"Theoretically, this means that the eldest brother could take 70% of the welfare benefits, as well as most of the supplies carried by the other players who are escaping, and become the only successful survivor on the entire map."

Wang Dalu paused, swallowed hard, and then gave an awkward laugh: "Of course, if you think it's too slow, I can die right now, and you can change roommates tomorrow, which will reduce the number of players in the dungeon ahead of time."

"But it doesn't really matter if we do it two days in advance. The eldest brother can only kill one team of people at most each day, so it's faster to let the test takers go. Theoretically, the test takers can kill all the weak players in the secret room."
