There was nothing particularly interesting in the colorful boxes held by the three men that caught Su Lin's eye.
Most of them are white props, with very few green ones.
Apart from one or two consumable items, the rest are craft collectibles with no real effect, only displaying the value of resource coins.
The only noteworthy finding was a storage bag in one of the boxes, which was shown to be able to hold 18 different items.
Look at the style of this backpack; it's the same style that the man was carrying earlier.
"It seems they didn't have time to search for any supplies along the way; they must have come straight for me at the start."
Su Lin murmured to himself as he picked up the red-quality map.
This is the map mentioned in the escape game mechanics, which records most of the important information in the current game.
Su Lin unfolded the map to examine it, and a map covering half of the city, including the school, appeared in front of him. According to the information displayed on the map, this was the activity area of the team in this escape game.
All teams of survivors cannot leave the map's coverage area by any means; they can only move within that area.
The map shows that the current game map locations include four main areas: the city high school, the department store, the subway station, and the residential area, which also include various streets and shops.
In the main areas of the map, there are several colored marked locations, representing the starting points for different escape teams.
There are 2 escape teams in each main area, and 6 teams scattered randomly outside the main areas; there are a total of 14 escape teams and 42 people in total across the entire map.
The map also marks some very bright and obvious red coordinates, which are the locations of red supplies. Anyone with the map can see this information.
"Is this the minimum living allowance they mentioned? It's quite a vivid description, with high-quality locations clearly marked."
Su Lin murmured to himself as he noticed two red resource sites within his school area.
One of them is in the teaching building where you start the game, and the other is in the training warehouse near the playground.
"Two teams will spawn in the school area. The three people I killed arrived very quickly. It seems that their spawn point is the team next to where I started."
"Then there should be no other escape teams in the entire school. Of course, it cannot be ruled out that other outdoor teams might come to the school to compete for the red supplies."
Su Lin pondered the analysis, focusing his attention on the area surrounding the school.
He was lucky; the nearest teams in the wilderness were all several kilometers away, and his starting location was closer to the department store, where there was also a red supply point.
Based on normal human nature, ambitious teams in the wild will most likely choose the red loot that is closer to them.
Of course, it cannot be ruled out that some people might be greedy and try to snatch the two red supplies from the school.
"The map shows that this is the first escape game on Earth, meaning it's the first time for everyone."
"Therefore, it is impossible for all teams to be daring; at least half of the team members, like Song Daqiang, are vigilant and timid, with the main goal of successfully escaping."
Su Lin silently analyzed in his mind: "Even if someone already knows that successfully seizing the treasure will greatly enhance their strength, they probably wouldn't dare to gamble, since there are at least two teams near every red resource location."
"It might be too late to compete for red supplies, and there's also the risk of being attacked by strangers. Most people would probably prefer to play it safe, since there are supplies to search for in the wild, and you can even get some weapons and equipment by killing zombies."
"Considering that teams are randomly matched, the three people in a team are all strangers to each other. Even if the map information emphasizes that teammates cannot harm each other, there should still be a sense of vigilance between them."
“Without complete trust within the organization, it’s even less likely that many teams will take radical actions.”
After repeated deductions and analyses, Su Lin finally determined one point: "The world's first escape game is extremely dangerous for ordinary people, but it is not hopeless if handled carefully; if they encounter experienced warriors, the first game is almost as simple as a [beginner's tutorial]!"
"So, before most people have adapted, the first match is the best opportunity to widen the gap between us and others!"
"If they're too afraid to escape early, there won't be many people vying for the red supplies!"
Su Lin narrowed his eyes, quite certain of his guess: "As long as I'm bold enough, I can get more red supplies!"
Su Lin made this analysis because he was even more certain of one thing: the escape game had only just begun, and a successful escape did not mean the end.
The map's recorded information contains much of what appears to be a beginner's tutorial, all of which hints at this point.
Therefore, he should cherish his first time even more and do his best to maximize his gains!
Of course, the worst-case scenario also exists.
"Perhaps more people realize this, and share my thoughts."
Su Lin murmured to himself. He never looked down on anyone. There were many fools in this world, but there were also many smart people.
But when it came to competing with others for red supplies, Su Lin was not afraid.
He was never afraid of fighting!
Moreover, he believed that in a match, it was impossible for any of the 42 people to be as audacious as those three men from before.
