"roar!"
The bear-man captain roared in fury. Under the threat of death, it reflexively raised its shield to fight back and stood together with Su Lin.
Su Lin's iron fists pounded the shield, making it tremble violently. The bear-man captain felt immense force coming from the shield in his hands, making it difficult for him to stand firm and causing him to stumble backward.
"Roar! Damn humans!!"
Its face was terrifying as it roared, but its heart was filled with horror, unable to comprehend how a mere human could possess power surpassing that of the bear-men!
Unfortunately, this human was not only strong, but his fists were also on fire, causing sparks to fly everywhere when he hit them. The orcs screamed in pain when their fur got on them.
This guy!
It's a physical attack, yet it also carries magical effects—truly a magic knight of the human empire!
"You really think you can kill me!"
The bear captain grew increasingly frustrated as the fight progressed, so he simply threw down his shield, roared, and charged forward with his knife to engage Su Lin in a face-to-face battle!
Su Lin remained calm, his fists still powerful and he was not at a disadvantage, but he refused to draw his weapons.
He was determined to hone his boxing skills, and there was no one on the entire battlefield more suitable to practice on than the resilient bear-man.
In the distance, Lyanna was still drawing her bow and shooting arrows, shifting her focus to the bear warriors who had just turned around to prepare to thwart the human recruits' counterattack.
Bearman warriors are the kings of melee combat among orcs, possessing both strong defensive and offensive capabilities, making them the undisputed kings of foot combat on the magical continent!
But under Lyanna's magical arrows, they still pierced through one after another, killing instantly!
Even though the bear warriors had already realized Lyanna's strength, their advance with shields in formation was useless; the moment the arrows came, the shields would shatter and they would die.
Within minutes, thousands of bear-man warriors were slaughtered, leaving less than a hundred to flee and dodge in panic on the battlefield. They had completely lost their former prestige and arrogance and were just as pathetic as the wolf riders.
Speaking of the wolf riders, the remaining survivors were quite clever. While the bear warriors were being slaughtered by Lyanna, half of the wolf riders seized the opportunity to launch a counterattack, constantly closing the distance between themselves and Lyanna.
But Lyanna seemed to have eyes in the back of her head. The wolf riders were killed by a hail of arrows before they could get close. The few survivors were so frightened that they turned around and ran away from the battlefield.
The new recruits on the battlefield had just been gathered together by the recruiting officers and other nobles and regained their composure when they saw how mighty Lyanna was and how Sulin charged and fought his way through the bear-men's ranks. They were all deeply moved and inspired, feeling that they could also be just as brave when they went into battle, only lacking a little courage.
Just after the recruiting officer ordered a counterattack, the recruits charged forward with shouts of excitement, but reality soon taught them a lesson.
Even the few orc warriors that Sulin and Lyanna overlooked were invincible killing machines in the recruit ranks.
The orcs' muscles were as strong as steel, making them unafraid of the recruits' swords. Their weapons were heavy and massive, and when they swept across the battlefield, the recruits were either killed instantly or wounded by mere glancing blows.
A mere dozen or so lucky orcs, left alone and unattended, were able to rampage through the surging ranks of new recruits. The recruits' newly gathered courage was shattered, and they turned tail and ran in terror. Their hard-won morale was almost completely destroyed.
"What are we going to do?!"
Seeing his anxiety, the recruiting officer grabbed Jia Zhengyi's arm and cried out, "Jia! My good brother, please help me! Teach me!"
"Don't panic, we're brothers, watch me!"
Jia Zhengyi was very confident. He grabbed the recruiter's hand and shouted towards Lyanna's drumming in the distance, "Hey! ADC, fire a few arrows over here! Take care of her when you have time!"
Lyanna frowned. She didn't want Jia Zhengyi to call her by her name, but she didn't expect that this kid could give her so many strange nicknames besides his name.
In the midst of the battle, Lyanna couldn't act rashly and could only cooperate by drawing her bow and nocking an arrow.
"Swish swish!"
A burst of arrows shot out, their trajectories invisible to the naked eye. The human nobles only saw the lone orc in the direction Jia Zhengyi was pointing, and their heads exploded! As if punished by the gods, they died instantly from headshots!
That's too fast! That's too strong!
This elven woman is so powerful that she seems otherworldly!
Oh, right, she wasn't human to begin with; she was a powerful pure-blooded elf!
The nobles' eyes practically lit up as they watched the female elf on the hillside with frenzied excitement. Lyanna stood tall and graceful, her cloak billowing behind her, her arrows flying like meteors, slaughtering the orcs until not a single one remained.
The little girl beside her raised her hand and called out in Su Lin's direction, "Brother! That's about enough!"
Upon hearing the hint, Su Lin stopped practicing his punches, withdrew from the fighting area, and distanced himself from the bear-man captain.
"You bastard! You think you can run away?!"
The bear captain had been punched and beaten by a human for a long time, and was already full of pent-up anger. At this moment, he didn't care about the situation on the battlefield and was about to rush forward to kill Su Lin with bloodshot eyes!
No matter what, even if the battle is lost, we must wash away our shame!
How could a mighty bear-man warrior submit to a mere human!
Su Lin glanced at it indifferently, raised his right hand, and with a clench of his fist, pulled out the Rainbow Martial Artifact Breaker from the Martial Arts Box!
"Clang!"
A sharp sword materialized out of thin air and landed in Su Lin's right hand.
In the eyes of the human nobles, this was almost a miracle! It was a wondrous magic they had never seen before!
"Whoosh!"
Facing the bear-man captain charging at him, Su Lin simply swung his longsword lightly, without any sword moves or skills, just the purest, simple sword move under the influence of a century of sword intent, a simple horizontal thrust.
