Chapter 65 Searching for Villages.

"There's nothing outside; the yard is almost completely filled with sand."

After searching the surrounding area, they found nothing of value.

Mo Ran then slowly walked towards the house, deciding to search for something inside.

"Bang"!

The two wooden doors at the entrance were teetering on the verge of collapse, and Mo Ran simply kicked them out with her right foot.

The two wooden doors opened with a thud, one of which broke off from its hinge and collapsed onto the ground.

The first thing you see is a space that looks like a living room, and to the right are the kitchen and dining room.

To the left are the bedroom and bathroom, as well as a storage room.

"Bang! Bang!"

Mo Ran kicked each wooden door one by one, her speed far exceeding that of a crowbar.

"Why use a crowbar? It's too slow. Just kick it."

Mo Ran went to the kitchen first, where there was a dining table and many pots and pans in the cabinet.

There were also some things that should have been food, but due to prolonged decay, they had melted into a lump.

It looked disgusting and smelled awful.

"There's nothing here, let's try looking somewhere else."

After searching all the rooms, Mo Ran really didn't see a single hair.

Mo Ran left the courtyard and headed to the next house.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

After kicking down more than a dozen houses, Mo Ran finally found a supply box.

"Hey, finally found a supply crate!"

My legs are about to give out from all the kicking! The drop rate is just too low!

Rubbing her aching right foot, Mo Ran picked up the crowbar and began to pry.

"Click, click".

With the wooden strips pried off, Mo Ran successfully opened the box.

"It's a huge bag of sunflower seeds!"

As the supply box was opened, Mo Ran saw the items inside.

It was a bag of sunflower seeds, as big as a bag of rice.

"Wow, this is enough for me to keep eating for a long time."

After taking off the tactical backpack from her back, Mo Ran stuffed the bag of sunflower seeds into it.

The tactical backpack has quite a lot of space; it can easily hold such a large bag of sunflower seeds.

"Hmm, the weight is okay, it won't be too much of a hindrance."

I carried it on my back and did some exercise. Although it was a bit heavy, it didn't affect Mo Ran's movements.

"This family must be quite wealthy, after all, they are one of the few families in the village that has built a two-story house."

Mo Ran went up to the top of the house via a staircase on one side.

Standing outside the house and looking outwards, you can see most of the houses in the village.

"Only the few houses I visited before were relatively intact; the rest were basically in ruins."

Mo Ran looked around and then her gaze settled on a building in the center of the village.

This building is larger than any other house, has three floors, and a large yard.

Although half of the wall has collapsed and been damaged, the overall structure appears to be relatively intact.

"If that place is in the countryside, it should be similar to a village committee. Go there and take a look; you might find something good."

Having made up her mind, Mo Ran quickly went downstairs and headed in that direction.

"The surrounding walls are covered in these scratches, and many doors have been violently damaged."

The inside seemed very messy, as if someone was fleeing for their life.

As we walked, we got closer and closer to the building in the very center.

Mo Ran then noticed that the surrounding situation seemed to be not good, with walls covered with all sorts of huge scratch marks.

The gates of the surrounding houses were damaged and covered with scratches.

Although she didn't know what kind of creature had left those claw marks, Mo Ran felt that this thing was definitely not a good bird.

Before long, Mo Ran arrived at the entrance of the building.
